Epilogue

5 years later

Xander's pov

It's been five whole years without her, but that day, the day when she left me forever, still feels like yesterday. I still get goosebumps to even think about that day.

Bella and I spent the days that we had together like they were the last days of our life, well it's also true, they were. Because when she died, a part of me went with her.

We spent all our days in each other's arms, not ready to leave one another. We spent hours recording videos, capturing moments. Moments upon which I live now.

We cried together, we laughed together, teased each other, she taught me a lot in those numbered days. She taught me how kind of a person she was, how amazing, how selfless. Well also some cooking.

She soon gave birth to jade, who was born perfectly without any harm. She loved holding jade in her arms, said that she doesn't want that moment to end.

I asked the doctor at that time, still feeling a bit hopeful that will we be able to save my wife, but sadly he told me that it's too late for that. Her condition is getting worse day by day and that she doesn't have much time left.

Thankfully for me she lived for 5 more months, I got to spend these wonderful months with my complete family. The dream I always wanted to come true, did come true, but only for five months. Nevertheless all those months were the best time of my life, and I'll cherish them for the rest of my life.

I even married her once again, out of love this time. She looked so damn beautiful in that white dress, she said the words that I wanted to hear since the time my eyes laid upon her, she said "I do", and indeed she was the best wife I could ever ask for, till death did us apart.

I know she is happy somewhere in heaven, happy about the fact that her daughter's safe and living happily with me. She is with Jacob, both looking after me and jade from heaven.

There's not even been a single day when I didn't miss her. Her room, her belongings, everything is untouched. I kept it as it was, and changed nothing. Because this way I feel like she is still here, with me.

She loved Donna like her own mother, so she wrote down all of her's recipes for baking, and she told me that she wants me to open a bakery, and give it to Donna to run. Bakery's name is 'Ella'.

She asked me to keep a check upon her family, she knew that her family is too proud to actually take any of my financial help, but she told me that her brother needs me, emotionally. And I do look after him, I pick him up from school, he mostly lives with me here playing with jade all the time, when it's finally late and his mother's about to return home, I drop him back and we all have dinner together. They have become like a family to me, a beautiful small family.

Jake has grown up to be a handsome boy, he is popular at school. I bought him a car of his own this year, which he refused to but accepted when I forced him. Bella made some videos for him as well and he misses her each and every day.

Taylor and Cole after looking at how unexpected life is, got married five years ago, Taylor wanted to marry early so that Bella could attend her wedding and be her Bridesmaid like she always wanted. They too have a baby boy, who they named 'Jacob'. They are both living happily, and often comes here to visit me and Jade.

The Williams also come here often to talk and play with jade, otherwise they mostly talk to her daily on video calls. They wanted to keep her with themselves, but I told them that they won't be able to take good care of her because of there schedule.

My dad, is now closer to me than he ever was. And surprisingly he loves Jade more than anything. He lives here with me in this house again, comes home early just to play with his grandchild.

Bella was right, Jade is the one who changed everything. She gave all of us a reason to be happy again, to live properly again.

"Daddyyyyyy!!!" Comes a voice from behind me, a small figure trying to hug me from behind. She is only able to hug my legs but it's so cute. She is so cute.

I pick her up and start tickling her, "Oh daddyyy stopppp." She starts to say while laughing.

"I love you so so much my cutest baby." I say to her, while looking at her. She looks exactly like her mother, so beautiful, so innocent, same captivating eyes.

"Daddy can we please watch mom's video today? I know you said that you'll show them to me when I'll grow up but dad I am old enough to watch them. I want to hear her voice, I want to watch her speak." She requests me, in her cute voice.

I wanted jade to watch these videos once she is old enough to understand. I don't want to hurt her by making her watch the videos of her mother, who she'll never be able to see in real life. But What she just said was right, she deserves to know, she deserves to watch them whenever she wishes to.

She already knows the story of her mother, I told her everything. Jade is a mature child, just like her uncle jake. She understands things, she takes good care of herself, never troubles me about anything.

"Okayy, we'll watch it together right now." I say to her which makes her face light up.

Ella recorded so many videos, but there was one which she titled, 'start of everything' so I decide to start it with that one.

As soon as I play the press button, there she is. Healthy and beautiful as ever in front of a camera, I remember that day very well, it was shot during the time I had no idea what was going on. She just randomly asked me for a video camera, and I got it for her. Everything was normal that day, I had no idea she was going through so much and making videos for her daughter who she'll never see. I can't even imagine the kind of pain she went through on her own. I came home early that day and we had such an amazing time in each other's company, she didn't once made me feel like she was hiding something from me.

I watch as Ella starts the camera and places it on a table, while she is sitting in my room alone. I can see the tears already forming in her eyes when she starts speaking, "Hi baby!! I am so sorry mumma isn't here with you right now. I really wanted to be there for you my love, but god had different plans for me. Xan, I am so sorry that I didn't inform you of this illness, but how could I? How could I tell you all this when you came home everyday looking so happy. I didn't want to change that. I know I am being selfish but I can't watch you cry yourself over me Xan, I can't cause that pain for you. That's why I have decided to keep this news from you. I just found out about this yesterday, and that's why I asked for you to get me this camera. This is the only way I'll be able to talk to you in future. You know I just decided your name Jade, I wanted your name to have both of your father's name. Both of them love you jade, never let anyone tell you otherwise. Jacob loves you and is watching over his little princess from heaven, and Xan well he is going crazy since the moment he found out he is having a daughter. Baby maybe in future people will talk bad about your mother, about your father, but don't let any one of them effect you. We all love you the most my love, all that happened was very unfortunate, but nonetheless baby you are the reason behind all of ours happiness. You gave meaning to our lives, you are so special, never believe anything else. Please don't ever hate me baby, I love you more than my own life, more than anyone in this whole world baby. Please take care of your father for me too, he won't listen to anyone but he will to you. Please tell him to move on, to find someone who'll love him as I did. He deserves all that, he deserves that kind of love. Look after him for mumma please? I am sure he'll try his best to hide away his pain from you, he'll try to look all strong for you, but know that your father is also going through a lot baby just like all of us are. Do you know that there is a place called heaven? Where all the good souls go after dying, it's the place where they find peace, it's where every misery of their life ends. That's where mom and your father Jacob is right now, we are happily watching over you my dear, from heaven. So never ever feel alone in your life, always remember that your two parents are watching over you from heaven, and one from earth. Today I wanted to tell you how all of this began, how I met these wonderful people, how it all started. It all started the day when I started to teach the bad boys of our school.....

This chapter is like the epilogue as well as the prologue for this story, this is how the story starts, Bella is narrating the entire story to her daughter through her video. And this is where the story ends as well.

Finally it's all over. I am so emotional and overwhelmed by the love I got because of this story.
