Like the moon loves the night,

Silent and steady,a soft, heartwarming light.

Like rivers carve through stone with grace,

My love for you shall leave an endless trace.

Like the wind caresses the trees,

Whispering soft secrets with so much ease.

Like the sun yarns for the dawn's first gleam,

You are at the heart of every dream.

Like the stars love the sky,

Unseen yet constant, soaring high.

Like the ocean rushes for the shore's embrace,

My heart in you finds its safe space.

Like the rain cares for the earth,

Falling, nourishing, growing forth.

Like the fire warms the dark of night,

The warmth of your embrace makes my heart tight.

Like the roses in the hands of time,

Growing into their blooming prime.

My love may not be everlasting, never ending,

But my feelings will always be genuine.

Like a child I'll be spilling my heart out,
