It felt as if I managed to resolve a few things after our talk, but there were still things that weren't completed for me.

Like Klay- how the hell can he say those things to me after knowing me for so long? I mean, for me it was a long time.

And he might have apologized, but I can't help but ask myself if something like that would happen again. The other boys- although not everyone- let that happen. They let him tell me those things without trying to understand the truth. He fired first and asked questions later.

The second person I still couldn't figure out at all was Oliver. Were we friends now, or did he feel compelled to tell me a secret about himself?

I still have more questions for the other boys, as well.

Besides, it made me wonder what will happen once they hear who my uncle was. I had to tell that to them myself, so they won't hear about it from anyone else.

But I guess, it will be better to let them tell me whenever they feel like it rather the forcing it out.

I got my friends back, and that was the most important thing. I'll make sure they know never to do that thing to me again, but right now I'll leave it at that.

When I got back home, I saw even more the fact that I had other thing to worry about.

Because the second I entered my house, I could hear yelling coming from the kitchen.

The moment I realized it was my uncle and aunt arguing, I started to walk as fast and as quiet as I could towards my room. But of course, my aunt chose that exact moment to exit the kitchen, and there she was right in front of me, the angriest I've ever seen her in my entire life.

"Good, you're here." She said, and I felt chills all over my body as she mentioned me to get in the kitchen after her.

Having no other choice, I followed her inside and mentally prepared myself for what was about to come.

I sat down without sparing my uncle a glance, looking down on my hands after I put them on the table in front of me.

"I always knew that the both of you together was a recipe for disaster, but it seems that you topped all of my expectations." She began, taking a sit in front of me and uncle Bart who leaned against the counter behind me.

"What the hell were you thinking, Rhiannon? Not only did you change schools behind my back, but you went to an all boys school? And not to mention for delinquents!"

I shrugged, shaking my head. "Well, they are quite nice, actually-" "Rhiannon!" I flinched at the level of her voice, shutting up immediately.

"God, it's like you don't even feel remotely guilty for lying to me, your aunt! The person who raised you!" She claimed, waving her hands in the air.

I met her eyes with mine, clearing my throat. "I didn't like not telling you, however I don't regret going there. For the first time in my life, I made real friends and felt like a normal teenager!" I told her, all serious now.

"You went to a school that has students disappearing, were attack by a staff member and the students, and you expect me to sit here and tell you I'm proud of the choices you made?" She asked, crossing her arms.

I let out a bitter laugh, "Proud? Are you kidding me? I knew since was nine years old not to expect you to be proud of me," My aunt raised her brows in confusion.

"What do you mean?" She asked with a softer tone this time.

I shook my head, a cynical smile on my lips. "Oh, I don't know, maybe it has to do with how you always yell and punish me without hearing my side of the story?" My aunt frowned. "Because you come back home all bruised up! What am I supposed to think, then?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe 'poor thing, she must've been attacked'? You know, something normal guardians do!" She stood up, anger back on her face.

"That's because you always get yourself into troubles because of that temper of yours, not to mention how impulsive you are! Did you ever think that instead of going around looking for some troubles just because you're bored, maybe do something else? My god, Rhi, you are so self distractive sometimes and you don't even realize that!"

I stopped and stared, looking at her as she finished yelling.

She had a point, but she was also so very wrong.

Yes, I was impulsive. Yes, that wasn't very good how I always got into fights.

But it didn't change the fact that she always pointed the finger at me before asking anything. A lot of the times it wasn't my fault, but she wouldn't listen.

"Yeah well, at least I didn't lie about having a brother I never knew about." This made both of them freeze.

"Who told you that?" My uncle asked, talking for the first time since I entered the kitchen.

"Officer Jason. It's a good thing he did, because who know when you were going to tell me." I turned to him, the person I loved with all of my heart, but also the one who hurt me so much just recently.

"And you know what? I wasn't even going to be mad about it, but now that aunt is going on about lying without feeling guilty, I just can't help it now." I stated, standing up from my chair and stepping towards the kitchen door.

"But you know, this is really fitting. No wonder I lie so much.- I grew up with two liars."

And then, I walked to my room, ignoring their calls.

If only I knew the next day that I won't be allowed to go to the school anymore.

*

The next day I went out of the house as early as I could so I wouldn't run into my aunt. She knocked a few times on my door, asking to talk to me. I didn't answer, acting like I was asleep. It worked, and she left me alone.

I was sitting on a bench in front of the entrance, staring into nothing. After a while, students started to arrive, almost every one of them looking at least once before moving on.

They didn't say anything, just sparing a glance.

"You look so gloomy, rich girl. Is it because you're here and not at Mainwest Academy, that all-girl school?" Daniel asked, appearing besides me. I didn't even spare him a glance. It has been weeks since the last time he bothered me, and I kind of had a feeling one of the guys were the cause of that. I don't think they knew about that time he shoved me into a wall and threatened me, but I guess that fight I got into was the main variable.

"Come on, your uncle is the principal, how hard can your life be?" I turned my head towards so fast I almost had a whiplash. "Who told you that?" I asked, going out of my mind on the inside, making him frown at me for a second before smirking at me. "The whole school knows about it," He said, adding another problem to my long list.

I turned my head towards the entrance. "But who discovered and revealed it to the all school?" I asked, more to myself than him. "Huh?" He looked at me, raising a brow, but I my attention wasn't on him anymore.

"Right, I'm going to go, and you're going yo stay away from me." I told him, shoving my hands into my jacket and not even looking at him. After a second I added, "Also, you should be nicer to people." I nodded once and then walked away, entering the building.

From afar I spotted the guys, but of course luck was not on my side, because suddenly my uncle appeared in front of me. I froze, thinking about running away instead of confronting him. But before I could do anything, he said a sentence I never I thought I'll hear from him.

"I'm sorry, Rhi, but as of today you're not a student here anymore." He said. I couldn't hear anything. It was like I was inside a bubble, a bubble I couldn't see the outside from it.

"A-are you expelling me?" Was the first thing that I could utter. Inside my head there were so many questions I wanted to ask him.

Uncle Bart closed his eyes for a second, rubbing his face as he let out a sigh. He looked at me as he shook his head.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let you come here, Rhi. You've only been here for a few months and look how much-" "Don't you dare," I swallowed hard, trying hard not to cry. "don't you fucking dare say 'troubles'."

He sighed again, "Go back home. Talk to your aunt, okay?" I opened my mouth to say something, anything, but for the very first time of my life I was speechless.

God, it sucked. It sucked because I understood both he and my aunt did this out of care for me.

But I felt so... trapped. I was seventeen, but I felt like I was a child. I was treated like one for so long I started to believe I am one.

"You both think you do what is best for me, but you're wrong. I hope you'll come to realize that," I finally let out, before turning around and walking out of the school as fast as I could.

As I went to the entrance, my eyes fell on a figure, sitting alone on a bench.

It was that boy- the same boy who's friends is one of the missing boys. The one who screamed as his other friends tried to pull him up. Why was he sitting there, looking exactly like I did just a few seconds ago?

I made my way towards him, taking in his dark blue hair that almost reached his shoulders.

"You look like you want to punch someone," I remarked, but it wasn't in a humorous way- I was completely serious, for a changed.

He glanced up once before looking away. "I kind of want to punch someone. We can find some bad guys to punch together if you want," I told him as I sat next to him.

"What do you want from me?" He gave me a look, staring at me with mismatched eyes.- One was blue, the other brown.

"What's your name?" I asked him, ignoring his question. He didn't answer, and after a few more seconds I thought he wouldn't, either.

"Lake," He said, frowning at his hands. Maybe he was considering punching someone with me.

Or maybe I needed to stop thinking about punching people.

"I'm Rhiannon, but you can call me Rhi." I said, just as the bell rang.

Lake looked around once before looking at me and standing up. "You coming?" he asked as I stood up myself.

I waved my hand, dismissing his question. "Oh no, I was expelled." I said, the smile on my face not real one bit.

"Wait, what?" I nodded once before turning around.

"Maybe I'll see you around, Lake. Don't go hitting people without me!" I yelled, almost running out of the school's grounds because I was one second from crying.

I wanted to tell him I was going to help him find his friends.

But there was nothing I could do.

*

The people on the bus gave me weird looks. What, did they never see a person cry?

I was a mess when I entered my empty house. There was a note about lunch being in the fridge, but I skipped to go into my room and lay in bed.

I don't know how long passed by as I stared at my closet. The sound of my phone ringing woke me up from my trance.

I sighed once, looking at the caller who I discovered was Caleb.

"Hey, where are you?" He asked. And with that, I started to cry again, trying to explain to him about my shitty day.

Or week. Or life.

"Wait, what? I don't understand anything you say,"

An hour after this very confusing conversation on Caleb's end, the door bell rang and I went to opened the door.

As soon as my eyes landed on my best friend, I grabbed him and closed the door behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist.

"What happened?" Caleb asked as we sat on my bed, and as cliché as it sounded- I was hugging my pillow to me.

I went over everything, not skipping about the discovery that Officer Jason was my 'long lost brother'.

By the end of it, he looked as checked out as I was- and that was just from listening to the story. I had to go through it.

"Wow. And here I was, going to tell you about my unrequired love." He said, shaking his head. I pouted, handing him my pillow. I guess Grey wasn't into him.

Then again, did that guy ever actually liked someone?

"You're not going to tell him, then? How do you know it's true?" I asked. He shrugged once, hugging my pillow.

"I tried confessing, you know." Caleb admitted, making me blink at him. When did that happen? I immediately felt bad for not noticing. As if he read my mind, he took my hand in his and smiled. "Don't feel bad for not asking me about it. It was nothing, anyways. I was sanding alone with him, and just as I started to talk to him he walk away." I shook my head, getting mad at Grey. How can he treat my Caleb like that? I was going to kill him the next time I met him.

The door bell rang again, and I gave Caleb a look. He shook his head, "I didn't tell anyone I was coming here," He assured me.

Aside from Officer Jason, no one else knew where I lived. I mean, Reagan drove me once close, but he didn't know exactly where I lived.

We went to the door quickly, and through the peephole I saw it was Officer Jason and Grey.

I looked at Caleb. "It's Grey and Officer Jason," I mouthed, and he looked at me for a second before telling me to open the door.

"Um... hey," I greeted, looking them in the question. "What are guys doing here?" I asked.

Jason smiled, "Can we come in?" he asked me, making me look at Grey once before returning my gaze towards him.

"Sure," I said, though I was a bit uncertain if I wanted Grey in my house after what Caleb told me. They both looked very serious, though, so it felt like there was a very important reason they were here.

"Come on," I told Caleb as I led them all to the living room.

"So what is it about?" I asked.

"It's about the missing boys," Jason said, clasping his hands together.

"Is it okay if I go look for something to eat?" Caleb ask, interrupting the conversation. I nodded, "There should be something in the fridge," I told him, my focus on the officer in front of me.

"You want to help, right?" He asked, making me sit on the edge of the sofa, feeling tense. I nodded, swallowing hard.

"Well, I like we missed something. I don't know what, but something is bugging me and I thought maybe you notice something we didn't."

I scratched my head, just as Grey stood up. "I'll be right back," He said, but I was so deep into trying to think of an answer I didn't notice where he went.

"Well," I started, looking at my hands. "there is something I thought of but... I don't know, it sounds kind of dumb I guess," Officer Jason shook his head, "Whatever you think of, tell me."

I sighed, taking my phone out of my pocket and showing him my text messages.

"I started getting these as soon as I entered the school along with everyone else," I told him as he went over the text. "What do they mean?" He asked, looking at me.

"At first I thought it was nothing, but then every week it started to count down again." Jason raised a brow, "Count down?" I nodded, pointing at the dots.

"It counted down to Friday, and started over every week. I was told it was a count down for the Friday fights. They stopped only recently- weeks after they were over." I explained, meeting his gaze.

"But?" I glanced down at the phone once more. "But they continued to come even after the fights were over, and I'm sure there aren't any anymore." He let out air, looking alarmed. "Who sends them, then?" He askes, moving a hand through his brown hair. I shook my head.

"The real question you should ask is not that," I told him.

"It's what else happens every Friday."

Silence surrounded us for a few moments, as if both of us were looking for the answers. The boys thought the texts had nothing to do with the disappearances, but the more I think about the more I get a bad feeling- just like I had with Mr. Hobson, who only a few weeks ago tried to do god knows what and admitted he took a part in this case.

The silence was shuttered as Caleb came back to the living room, with no food in his hands, and Grey right behind him.

I blinked at Caleb who quietly sat besides me, but my focus was stolen by Officer Jason as he stood up.

"Thank you Rhi, I let you know if anything comes up." He promised, making me smile at him.

I saw them out, and turned to look at Caleb who looked down on his hand as he sat on the coach.

"Did you-" "I confessed." He suddenly said, making me stop and look at him.

"Oh my- what did he say?" Instead of saying anything, a big smile appeared on his face. "Holy shit, seriously?!" He nodded, and I ran to hug him, almost squashing him accidently. "That's awesome, now I can go give him the talk," Caleb blinked at me, confused.

"What 'talk'?" He asked, a bit worried, I'm sure.

"The whole 'if you hurt my baby, I'll kill you' and all of that." I said, my hand wrapped around his neck as I petted his head. He shook his head, moving my hand away from his head. "You just want an excuse to hit Grey," Caleb claimed, giving a look. "Correct. But also, do you really think I'll anyone hurt my best friend?" He smiled, "I'm your best friends?" I nodded, grabbing his hand to pull him up after me. "And as your best friend, it is my duty to feed you," He nodded, looking at the fridge.

"and also make sure you'll use protection, of course." Caleb turned to me, his face turning red in seconds.

"I'm going to kill you," He told me, making me tilt my head and sigh. "You kids grow up so fast, ah?" I asked.

He smiled, rolling his eyes because what else can he do when he has a friend like me.

A best friend like me.

"By the way," He suddenly said, making me hum in question. "remember that girl who looks like you?" I blinked. God, why was he doing this to me? He knows my memory is not the best when it comes to people.

"Mir? The one who asked twice to hang out with you?" I nodded, finally remembering. "What about her?" I asked as I took out the lunch Belle cooked for me.

"Well, apparently she's the one who discovered your secret and went around telling everyone." He informed me, making me gape at him. "Wait, what??" Caleb nodded.

"Yeah, I heard her say to one of the other girls she did it to get rid of you, or something. I almost went there to yell at her." I sighed at his words. Great, another person who disliked me for some reason. "Caleb, am I not likable enough?" I asked, worried I managed to make everyone in the world hate me.

"Of course not, you're the most likable person I've ever known." He assured me, but I couldn't help but wonder why it was always me who got into troubles.

Maybe god, or whoever is out there, wasn't a big fan of me or something.

"Let's just eat and forget about it, yeah?" Caleb offered. I sighed, smiling at him. And this is why we were friends.

The food definitely made me feel better. But what did the boys think about my very last secret?

~*~

Wow, it has been a while, ah?

First of all, I want to thank whoever you are for sticking around even though the last upload was like two months ago.

Second, thank you for reading, voting and commenting- as always! I've seen some new people and I want to say thank you and welcome, you are free to comment anything about how weird some of the things in the story are, and 'why the hell do you never edit your chapters, my god my eyes water from all of the errors'. Yeah, sorry about that.

But, as you can all see- I literally have no time to write. It's a stressful year in school for me, and whenever I do have time to write I'm so tired I don't feel like doing it.

So even if it takes a long time until the next chapter comes, please know it will come. We have a few more until the end, and I'm determined to give Rhi and the others a happy ending.

So stick around, and hopefully I'll get to it!

One last thing- does anyone have questions about the story? Like for example, I saw a comment about how I don't write Rhi's aunt's name. There isn't any reason for that, I just wanted to fuck around. It's mainly for my entertainment, so... bear with me.

And, as always-
