It was Hong Xin Rui who is standing at the entrance of the door, holding on to a box of cookies.

“Oh, I’m just here to pass Shen Ze a cup of milk.” Lin Wen Xin replied with a light smile.

“If you are done, just get out. Besides, the study room is not for someone like you to enter.” Hong Xin Rui said in a mocking tone.

Lin Wen Xin’s smile froze as she was slightly startled by Hong Xin Rui’s straightforward attitude.

Yes, it is true that Wang Shen Ze is very particular and does not allow anyone to enter the study room without his permission.

However, she did knock on the door but he was not inside. So she thought of just putting the cup of milk there and leaving the room straightaway.

It is obvious that Hong Xin Rui did not like her from the start. And she can totally guess the reason.

Two woman competing for the love of a man. How good of a relationship could they have right?

So Lin Wen Xin did not try to be friendly with Hong Xin Rui too, but she does want to try and live peacefully with her in this house.

Therefore, she decided to tactfully handle the situation by exiting the room.

However, just as she was about to leave, she noticed the box of cookies that Hong Xin Rui was carrying in her hands.

Black sesame flavour?

Hong Xin Rui stared at Lin Wen Xin impatiently, “Aren’t you going to leave? What are you looking at?”

Lin Wen Xin looked up at Hong Xin Rui with a confused face, “Are you giving these cookies to Shen Ze?”

“Why do you care about what I give to him? It’s none of your business!”, Hong Xin Rui immediately retorted.

“Please don’t misunderstand, I’m just casually asking because I remember that he is allergic to sesame”, Lin Wen Xin patiently explained to Hong Xin Rui.

A trace of emotion flashed past Hong Xin Rui’s eyes but she quickly masked it with her arrogant attitude, “Of course I know! I brought this here for myself! Not for him!”

Lin Wen Xin quickly nodded her head and closed the door that is behind her.

As she was walking back to her room, she could not help but feel puzzled about the situation earlier with Hong Xin Rui.

Does she not know that Wang Shen Ze is allergic to sesame?

And if she is aware, why would she even bring the cookies to his study room?

Furthermore, there would be a scent of sesame if she were to open it up and eat in front of him.

Isn’t it a little insensitive to eat these cookies in front of him while he is busy working?

Lin Wen Xin scratched her head as she could not seem to understand what Hong Xin Rui was thinking.

She then decided put this matter aside and start working on some new design drafts. After all, the next few months is going to be a busy period for the team.

She heard that Sister Fei Yi has managed to close an important business deal with a huge company and their team would be in charge of designing the clothing for this large scale commercial advertisement.

Even though this company is known to be hard to deal with, they are the Lin Corporation’s biggest client and our design team definitely cannot afford to do a poor job!

Sister Fei Yi has not released the name of the company that they would be working for but she did mentioned about how the advertisement would be in a beach setting.

Lin Wen Xin then tapped on this concept and started working on a few draft ideas that she currently have in mind.

Meanwhile, over at the study room, Hong Xin Rui was just standing there and being lost in her thoughts.

“Lin Wen Xin... no wonder your name sounded so familiar... so it is you whom I am replacing to be his first love.”

Hong Xin Rui rolled her eyes as she laughed in disbelief, “The world is so small huh? So the heavens sent you here to help me out?”

She smiled as she thought to herself.

“You are here?” Wang Shen Ze suddenly called out to her as he opened the door.

Hong Xin Rui quickly turned around and saw that he was standing at the door. She then walked over happily and hugged him at his waist, “Shen...”

Wang Shen Ze immediately pulled her hands off his waist and gave her a perfunctory nod. He then noticed the box of cookies that she was holding.

“Did you put this here?”, Wang Shen Ze looked up at Hong Xin Rui who was standing in front of him.
