Chapter 9 You Have a New Lover?
After swallowing down her lunch, Aurora cleared her mood and went straight to the second company for an interview.
Fortunately, she had more than one choice. She sent quite a few more companies her resume, and the second one was not worse than the first one..
When the interview entered the last segment, the door to the office was suddenly pushed open and a curvy figure walked in.
âI didnât expect to meet you here again.â Wenny looked down at Aurora and brushed her hair, âDonât even try. You wonât pass this interview.â
âItâs you?â Aurora picked up her bag and stood up. Her gaze moved between Wenny and the middle-aged male interviewer. âYou...â
âI forgot to introduce myself. This is my uncle,â Wenny said with a smile.
Aurora felt as if someone had slapped her on the cheek, and she felt a burning pain.
Her whole interview turned out to be a joke.
Wenny stood in front of Aurora arrogantly and mocked, âIâm sorry. You are Zacâs ex-wife and I canât let you work here.â
âOK.â Aurora adjusted her state very quickly and interrupted her, âSorry to disturb you.â
She didnât want to waste her time on Wenny and directly walked past her.
Wenny didnât expect this and she raised her eyebrows.
At the entrance of the building, Aurora stood there in her thin clothes. No matter how the cold wind blew past her face, she could not feel the coolness. The staff who came and went could not help but look at her. They felt that she looked familiar.
âMs. Bennet.â At this time, Wenny came out of the building and stopped Aurora.
When Aurora turned around, Wenny handed over a business card. Wennyâs red lips parted and she said with a faint smile, âIf you really canât find a job, why donât you try it here? There wonât be a more suitable workplace for you, right?â
Aurora took it suspiciously. The words on the name card were clear, âCreek Club.â
The two words made Aurora feel cold all over, recalling the night when she boldly barged in.
Looking at Wennyâs expression, she must have already known.
mu W The business card was pinched out of the folds in Auroraâs fingers, torn, or thrown away?.
This kind of blatant humiliation was nothing to Aurora. She smiled and said two words, âThank you.â
Thank you? Wenny thought her ears went wrong.
However, she couldnât think of any words to ridicule her.
âAurora!â A car stopped at the entrance of the company building. Terry took off his helmet and waved at Aurora through the window.
He had been racing for the whole day and came here to pick up Aurora as soon as he finished. He did not expect to catch her.
âSorry, someone came to pick me up. Iâll be leaving first.â Aurora said to Wenny. Under Wennyâs suspicious and resentful gaze, Aurora slowly sat in the front seat of Terryâs sports car.
âWhere are we going?â Terry tilted his head and asked her.
âWhatever. Just leave this damned place.â Aurora looked straight at the road ahead, the corners of his lips slightly raised.
âOK! Tighten the belt!â Terry started the engine.
The roar of the sports car was very loud, the women passing were all screaming. Wenny clenched her fists, almost gnashing her teeth.
âAurora, I didnât expect you to find a new lover so quickly.â
And from Wennyâs perspective, this man was no worse than Zac.
