"If It's Not You, It's No One."

Y/n's View

"Well, I called her." Steven says.

"And?" I ask.

"She said she's not taking them down." Steven says.

I groan and burry my face in the couch pillow.

"Why did Taylor even kiss you?" Steven asks.

"I dunno! She asked me how differently I thought my life would be had we ended up together so I said, I dunno, and then she kissed me." I say.

"In other words, she has feelings for you." Steven says.

"I could care fucking less, I'm so happy with Hailee. If she wanted me she should've said it earlier. And I, quite frankly, wouldn't want her even if I wasn't with Hailee." I say.

"Well, I'll see what I can do." He says.

"And, I'm sorry." He says.

"Sorry for what?" I ask.

"For constantly caring more about business and forgetting that your personal life heavily depends on our business decisions. I'm sorry." He says.

"It's cool, it was just a mistake." I say.

"A silly one at that." He says.

I slightly smile and nod.

Time Skip; Hailee's View

I hear banging on the door and I get up. I look through the peephole and see Griffin. I sigh and open the door.

"I knew it! That skank bitch lied about it!" Griffin says barging in.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"Coco made a tweet a few hours ago saying that Y/n's manager told her to take the pictures down. Guess who responded 30 minutes ago debunking the rumors." Griffin says.

"Who?" I ask.

"Austin Sidesurf." Griffin says.

"Y/n and Austin go way back, he could easily be lying." I say.

"I'm convinced you don't want Y/n back." He says.

"What?" I ask.

"You're making up excuses as to why this entire thing being a misunderstanding could not be possible." He says.

"You argued with Y/n for years because Rico lied and she said mean things about you. He was someone you trusted." He says.

"If someone you trust could just as easily lie, why wouldn't someone that has been terrorizing Hollywood for over a decade tell the truth?" He asks.

I sigh and nod.

"Show me it." I say.

He smiles and hands his phone to me.

"He even tweeted the video of the kiss." He says, taking his phone back.

He presses Austin's profile picture and scrolls a little. He presses play on a video and hands his phone back.

I see Y/n and Taylor laughing and Taylor says something. Y/n shrugs and Taylor kisses her. Y/n quickly pulls away and says something.

Y/n shows her phone to Taylor and says something else.

"I dunno what she's showing her but seems clear as day to me that she didn't want that kiss." Griffin says as the video ends.

"Oh, I know what it is." I say.

"Are you serious? Is this reaolly your lock screen? This is the kiss from the Surfey's." I say.

"I love that picture of us. We were 7 years into an ongoing beef and we had one chance, one kiss to prove that we didn't still hate each other's guts." Y/n says.

I laugh and she smiles.

"You were about to ruin a good thing over nothing." Griffin says.

"All I know is that I'm saying no to every PR stunt from now on." I say.

Griffin laughs and I smile.

20 minutes later...

I knock on the door and it opens a few seconds later.

"I didn't—" Y/n says.

"I know, I seen the video." I say.

"What video?" Y/n asks.

"Don't worry about it." I say.

Y/n smiles and I hug her tightly.

She lets me in and we sit on the couch.

"I'm sorry about the entire thing. I should've never agreed to it, even if you were okay with it. It wasn't fair to you that so much of my time was taken away from you." Y/n says.

"I literally couldn't agree more." I say.

She smiles and nods.

"The truth is, I'm in love with you and I fall more and more in love with you every single day. I wouldn't want anyone else to be my girlfriend." She says.

"If it's not you, it's no one." She says.

I smile and hug her tightly.

"I love you." She says.

"I love you too." I say.

Time Skip

"It's gets better every time I hear it." I say as the final song ends.

"So when is your album coming out? Like how many songs are done?" Y/n asks.

"Well, my producer had a dispute with my label and refused to clear the beats so I can't use those songs. In other words, zero." I say.

"When we come back from our trip, we're gonna start on your album. And I'm not gonna charge you a dime because this is getting ridiculous." Y/n says.

"Really?" I ask.

"Really." Y/n says.

I smile and kiss her cheek.

Time Skip

Y/n and I couldn't decide where to go so we threw a dart at a map and landed on Greece.

"So, whaddya think?" Y/n asks.

"It was worth the wait." I say.

Y/n smiles and I hug her.

"You're the best." I say.

She smiles and kisses me.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." Y/n says.
