Gaku and Panther Lili pressed forward across the chaotic battlefield, weaving through the carnage of clashing pirates and marines. The sound of clashing weapons, gunfire, and distant explosions filled the air, punctuated by the occasional tremor from devastating attacks by the war's heavyweights. Lili clung tightly to Gaku's back, his small claws digging into Gaku's shoulders.
"This place is insane!" Lili exclaimed, his voice barely audible over the noise. "Are you sure you want to get in the middle of this madness?"
"Do you ever stop talking?" Gaku replied, scanning the battlefield. His eyes locked on Luffy in the distance, surrounded by chaos and struggling to make headway.
As they advanced, their path was suddenly blocked by a group of marines, all brandishing weapons and shouting commands.
"There he is! Gaku the Reaper!" one of the marines shouted. "He's escaped from Impel Down! Take him down at all costs!"
Before Gaku could act, several pirates appeared from the opposite direction, surrounding him and mistaking him for a bounty hunter.
"That guy's not with Whitebeard or Straw Hat!" one pirate growled. "He's here for bounties! Let's take him out before he tries to collect on ours!"
Gaku sighed, rolling his neck as his hands flexed into fists. "This is a waste of time," he muttered.
One marine lunged at him with a sword, but Gaku sidestepped with ease, delivering a devastating punch to the marine's chest, sending him flying. Before the rest could react, Gaku spun, sweeping his leg out and knocking several of them off their feet.
A pirate swung a mace at his head, but Gaku ducked under the blow, delivering an uppercut that sent the attacker sprawling.
The battlefield around him descended into chaos as both marines and pirates came at him from all sides.
"You really know how to make friends," Lili quipped, still gripping his back.
Gaku ignored him, his movements precise and efficient as he dispatched his attackers one by one. Marines fell to his brutal punches and kicks, while pirates found themselves outmatched by his sheer speed and strength.
Suddenly, a loud mechanical whirring caught his attention. Gaku turned to see a Pacifista, its emotionless face scanning the battlefield before locking onto him.
"PX-7, target identified: Gaku the Reaper. Engage," the robotic voice droned.
Gaku's eyes narrowed. "What now?"
The Pacifista wasted no time, raising its hand and firing a laser beam. Gaku dodged to the side, the beam scorching the ground where he had stood moments before.
"That thing's no joke!" Lili shouted, his fur standing on end.
The Pacifista charged, its massive frame moving with surprising speed. Gaku met its charge head-on, dodging a heavy punch and countering with a powerful kick to its chest. The force of the blow made the Pacifista stumble, but it quickly retaliated with a barrage of lasers.
Gaku leaped into the air, using Geppo to stay ahead of the blasts. "This thing's built like a fortress," he muttered, landing on the ground with a skid.
The Pacifista lunged again, its mechanical strength forcing Gaku to stay on the defensive. The two exchanged blows, the sheer power of their strikes causing shockwaves that rippled through the battlefield.
Gaku gritted his teeth, realizing that brute force alone wouldn't be enough. He activated his Armament Haki, coating his fists in blackened energy.
"Let's see how tough you really are," he said, charging forward.
The Pacifista fired another laser, but Gaku deflected it with a Haki-infused punch before closing the distance. With a powerful combination of punches and kicks, he targeted the machine's joints and weak points.
Finally, with a deafening roar, Gaku delivered a devastating Haki-powered roundhouse kick to the Pacifista's head, shattering its mechanical neck and sending its massive frame crashing to the ground.
The surrounding marines and pirates froze, staring in shock as the seemingly invincible Pacifista lay motionless at Gaku's feet.
"Anyone else?" Gaku asked, his voice calm but menacing.
The remaining attackers hesitated, then scattered, unwilling to face him.
Lili peeked over Gaku's shoulder. "You actually took that thing down? I take back what I saidâyou're crazier than I thought!"
Gaku smirked, wiping sweat from his brow. "Let's keep moving. Strawhat's still ahead."
Before they could advance, a deafening explosion erupted just to their side, momentarily blinding Gaku and forcing him to skid to a stop.
As the dust settled from the explosion, a sinister laugh echoed across the battlefield, sending chills down the spines of nearby fighters. Emerging from the smoke was Gecko Moria, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. His massive frame loomed over the chaos, and his stitched grin stretched unnaturally wide.
"You seem promising," Moria said, his voice filled with dark amusement. "Your shadow will make a fine addition to my collection. I'll use it to revive Oars and turn the tide of this war."
Gaku furrowed his brow, his confusion evident. "Shadow? What the hell are you talking about?"
Lili, however, was trembling on Gaku's shoulder. "You don't want to mess with this guy! He's bad news!"
Moria's grin widened. "Oh, you'll understand soon enough!" He raised his hand, and with a wave of his fingers, he summoned a horde of zombies from the ground. They staggered forward, grotesque and twisted, their decayed bodies emitting a foul stench.
Gaku cracked his knuckles, unfazed. "Zombies, huh? That's new."
The zombies swarmed him, but Gaku didn't hesitate. With swift, precise movements, he tore through them one by one, his fists and kicks shattering their fragile bodies. Pieces of bone and decayed flesh flew through the air as Gaku moved like a whirlwind, leaving destruction in his wake.
Moria frowned as his minions were effortlessly dispatched. "Well, aren't you full of surprises," he muttered. "I suppose I'll have to deal with you myself!"
Moria's shadow extended and wrapped around his body, amplifying his size and strength. His already massive form became even more monstrous as he charged at Gaku, swinging his oversized claws with surprising speed.
Gaku dodged the first attack, countering with a powerful kick that sent shockwaves through the ground. The two clashed repeatedly, Moria's brute force meeting Gaku's precision and agility.
Despite Moria's enhanced strength, he couldn't keep up with Gaku's speed. The battlefield seemed to slow as Gaku darted around Moria, landing blow after blow. However, Moria's resilience was formidable, and he kept coming back for more.
Gaku soon realized that brute force alone wouldn't be enough to bring down the warlord. He scanned the area, noticing the countless discarded weapons scattered across the battlefield.
"Let's see how you handle this," Gaku muttered, grabbing a nearby sword.
Despite losing his signature mace in his fight with Kizaru, Gaku's expertise with all kinds of weapons shone through. He began switching between weaponsâswords, spears, and even a giant hammerâkeeping Moria on the defensive. Each strike was precise, exploiting openings in Moria's sluggish attacks.
Moria roared in frustration, swinging wildly, but Gaku stayed one step ahead. His relentless assault began to chip away at the warlord's confidence, drawing the attention of fighters on both sides of the conflict.
However, the battle was interrupted by a blur of movement nearby. Gaku turned to see Boa Hancock, the Pirate Empress, moving through the battlefield like a force of nature. She crushed both marines and pirates alike with her devastating kicks, her beauty and rage creating an aura that made even her allies hesitate.
"Luffy's in trouble, and you're wasting time here," Lili hissed in Gaku's ear.
Gaku spared a glance toward Luffy, who was visibly struggling against two vice admirals. He made his decision.
"You got lucky," Gaku said to Moria, his voice dripping with disdain. "I've got more important things to do."
Before Moria could respond, Jinbei appeared, stepping between the two. "Leave him to me," Jinbei said calmly. "You focus on helping Straw Hat."
Gaku gave the Fish-Man a brief nod before dashing toward Luffy, leaving Moria behind with an enraged snarl.
As Gaku approached, he saw the two vice admirals closing in on Luffy, who was too exhausted to defend himself. Without hesitation, Gaku blitzed forward, his speed creating a gust of wind that knocked over nearby marines.
With two precise strikes, he sent both vice admirals flying in opposite directions, their massive forms crashing into the frozen ground with a thunderous impact.
The battlefield momentarily froze, and Gaku turned toward Luffy. "You good?" he asked, his voice steady despite the chaos around them.
But before Luffy could respond, a sudden, blinding light caught Gaku off guard.
"Speed is power, you know," came a voice, calm and mocking.
In an instant, Kizaru appeared in front of him, his leg glowing with concentrated light.
BAM!
Kizaru's lightning-fast kick connected with Gaku's torso, sending him flying across the battlefield like a ragdoll. Gaku managed to catch himself mid-flight, flipping in the air before landing on his feet, the ice beneath him cracking under the force of his landing.
"Fast..." Gaku muttered under his breath, wiping a small trickle of blood from his mouth.
Kizaru didn't let up. He raised his hand, releasing a barrage of laser-like light beams aimed directly at Gaku. The beams sliced through the air, exploding on impact wherever they landed.
Gaku dodged with split-second precision, weaving through the attacks as the ice and debris around him erupted into chaos. Still, the sheer speed of Kizaru's assault forced him onto the defensive.
Kizaru smirked, his tone dripping with condescension. "Oh my, Gaku the Reaper. I heard you were supposed to be tough. But it seems you're just another slow, overconfident pirate."
For the first time, a flicker of genuine irritation crossed Gaku's face. His usual calm demeanor gave way to a cold, simmering anger.
"You..." Gaku growled, his fists clenching. "Last time, I couldn't touch you. But this time..." He took a step forward, his aura intensifying, "...things will be different."
Kizaru tilted his head mockingly. "Oh? How scary. But do you really think you can keep up with the speed of light?"
Ignoring the taunt, Gaku took a deep breath, his muscles tensing as he readied himself. This wasn't just a fight against an opponentâthis was a personal grudge.
"Watch me," Gaku said coldly, his voice low but filled with resolve.
The fight between Gaku and Kizaru intensified, each clash illuminating the battlefield with bursts of light and force. Kizaru's overwhelming power kept Gaku on the defensive, and the frustration was evident on his face. Every attack from the admiral carried an almost effortless precision, forcing Gaku to react quickly just to stay in the fight.
"You're not quite there yet," Kizaru taunted, delivering another laser-quick kick that barely missed its mark.
Gaku gritted his teeth. "You're as irritating as ever!" He lunged forward, using his speed and Observation Haki to predict Kizaru's movements, but the admiral's light-based powers kept him just out of reach.
As Gaku prepared to counterattack, a flash of blue and gold streaked across the sky. Marco the Phoenix dived into the fray, his flaming wings trailing behind him. He intercepted Kizaru with a powerful kick, forcing the admiral to redirect his attention.
"I'll handle him," Marco said, landing gracefully beside Gaku. His calm demeanor contrasted sharply with the chaos around them. "You need to help Straw Hat Luffy."
Gaku hesitated, skeptical. "You sure you can take him? He's no pushover."
Marco nodded confidently. "I've faced him before. Go. The kid needs your help more than I do."
Lili, gripping Gaku's shoulder tightly, shouted, "He's right! Wake up already! You're here to help the Strawhat, aren't you? Move it!"
Gaku grumbled under his breath but ultimately relented. "Fine. Don't get yourself killed."
He turned and sprinted toward Luffy, leaving Marco to clash with Kizaru in a fiery battle that lit up the battlefield.

Gaku arrived just in time to see Luffy desperately pleading with Emporio Ivankov to use his powers to boost him again. Luffy was visibly exhausted, his body trembling as he struggled to stand, yet his resolve remained unshaken.
"Please!" Luffy begged, his voice hoarse but unwavering. "I need your help to save Ace!"
Ivankov shook his head, visibly torn. "Straw Boy, I've already used my powers on you twice! Each injection takes years off your life! You've pushed yourself to the limit!"
"But I can't stop!" Luffy yelled, his desperation piercing through the chaos of the war. "I don't care about my lifeâAce is all that matters!"
Ivankov sighed deeply, clearly moved by Luffy's resolve. "Fine, Straw Boy. You leave me no choice!" He prepared another dose of his hormone-boosting technique, and with a dramatic flourish, he injected Luffy once more.
As the injection took effect, Luffy's strength returned in an instant. His determination was practically radiating off him as he stood tall, ready to charge forward once again.
Gaku watched in silent admiration before stepping up beside him. "Alright, Strawhat. Let's get this done together."
With newfound energy, Luffy and Gaku became an unstoppable duo. They tore through the marines in their path, Gaku's sheer strength and precision complementing Luffy's wild, relentless fighting style.
The two moved like a hurricane, clearing the way toward Ace. Their performance caught the attention of Whitebeard, who watched from a distance with a slight smirk. "This new generation... full of surprises," he muttered, though he quickly refocused as Akainu approached him.
As Gaku and Luffy pressed forward, Gaku used his Observation Haki to assess the situation. What he sensed wasn't encouraging.
Jozu was frozen solid by Aokiji, his body immobilized in a block of ice. Marco had been restrained with seastone shackles, his regenerative abilities rendered useless, and he was then struck by a devastating laser from Kizaru. Even Whitebeard, the strongest of them all, was visibly struggling, the wound inflicted by Akainu's molten fist weakening him significantly.
Even Jinbei, who had been fighting valiantly, was overwhelmed and chained by multiple marines. Though he eventually broke free, it was clear that the pirates were losing ground.
Despite the dire circumstances, Whitebeard stood tall, refusing to falter as marines swarmed him. His presence alone inspired his allies to keep fighting.
Suddenly, a commanding voice rang out across the battlefield. It was Sengoku, the Fleet Admiral. "Execute Ace. Now!"
The two executioners moved quickly, raising their swords above Ace's chained form. The pirates watched in horror, powerless to stop what seemed inevitable.
Gaku reacted instantly, unleashing a powerful Rankyaku slash toward the executioners. But before his attack could land, a deafening roar echoed across the battlefield.
"Aceee!" Gaku heard someone yell.
Luffy's voice rang out, raw with emotion as he screamed his brother's name. A massive wave of energy erupted from him, knocking nearby marines unconscious and even toppling the executioners far away from him.
Gaku's Rankyaku missed completely, but he stood frozen, stunned by what he had just witnessed. "What the hell was that?" he muttered.
Lili, still clinging to Gaku's back, was equally shocked. "That... That was Conqueror's Haki! This kid... he's unbelievable!"
Even Whitebeard, Sengoku, the Admirals, and some of the Warlords took notice, their expressions ranging from surprise to curiosity.
Gaku, however, felt something strange. As he observed Luffy, the energy felt oddly familiar, like he had interacted with such energy.
Shaking off the thought, Gaku refocused on the mission. With Luffy by his side, they pushed forward once more, clearing the path to the execution platform. The tide of the war was shifting again, and the battlefield erupted into even greater chaos.
