As Gaku stood at the helm, catching his breath, a sharp ring ring sound broke the silence. His eyes darted to the nearby Den Den Mushi sitting on the control panel. Its expression was stern, and the ringing persisted.
"Well, this is interesting," Gaku muttered to himself. He picked up the receiver and held it to his ear. "Gaku here. Who's calling?"
There was a brief silence on the other end before a deep, authoritative voice responded. "So, it's true. This ship has been stolen by a single pirate."
Gaku raised an eyebrow, leaning against the panel casually. "Yeah, that'd be me. And who exactly am I talking to?"
The man on the other end chuckled darkly. "You don't know me, but I know you. Gaku the Reaper, correct? One of the three heads leading the Impel Down breakout, alongside Straw Hat Luffy and Buggy the Clown."
Gaku froze for a second, surprised at what he'd just heard. Three heads? He hadn't considered himself part of a leadership trioâhe was just fighting his way out.
"That's a hell of a title you're giving me," Gaku said, smirking. "Sounds like someone's been talking. Let me guess: Magellan or Hannyabal?"
The voice ignored his comment and continued. "The Marines have received intelligence confirming your actions. You're now classified as a major threat, Gaku the Reaper. You may have escaped Impel Down, but you won't get far. Surrender now, and you might live to see the next sunrise."
Gaku's smirk widened. "I appreciate the offer, but I think I'll pass. You see, I've got places to be, and dying isn't on the schedule."
There was a tense pause on the line before the Marine officer spoke again, his tone colder this time. "You won't make it to Marineford. Every ship and stronghold in the area is being alerted to your position. You'll be caught long before you reach your destination."
The mention of Marineford caught Gaku's attention. He straightened up, his sharp mind working quickly. "Marineford, huh? You're really giving me all the hints I need. Thanks for the free intel."
"You fool," the Marine growled. "Even if you know where to go, you'll never make it in time. We're coming for you, Gaku the Reaper."
The line went dead, leaving Gaku holding the receiver with a bemused expression. He placed the Den Den Mushi back on its stand and leaned back, letting out a low chuckle.
"Looks like I'm a big deal now," he muttered, running a hand through his hair. "Three heads, huh? Guess I'm in some strange company."
Turning his attention back to the open sea, he thought about the Marine's words. Marineford. That was where they were taking Ace and where Luffy was heading to.
"Guess I don't need to wait for a clue after all," Gaku said, gripping the ship's wheel. He adjusted the course, steering toward the faint direction he assumed Marineford would be.
As he sailed, his mind raced. The Marines might already be preparing to intercept him, and without a navigator, it wouldn't be easy to find the exact location. But one thing was certain: he wasn't going to let his efforts in Impel Down go to waste.
"I'll figure it out," Gaku muttered, determination burning in his eyes. "One way or another, I'm getting there, I can't miss out again the fun."

As Gaku sailed through the open sea, the stolen Marine ship cutting through the waves, his sharp senses stayed alert for any sign of trouble. The earlier warning over the Den Den Mushi wasn't idle chatter; the Marines were undoubtedly looking for him now.
And sure enough, on the horizon, dark silhouettes began to emerge.
"Here we go," Gaku muttered to himself, squinting to make out the approaching ships. Three Marine vessels were closing in, their white sails emblazoned with the Navy's unmistakable insignia. They formed a blockade, leaving little room for him to maneuver.
The loud crackle of a Den Den Mushi blared from one of the opposing ships, a commanding voice booming across the water. "This is Captain Holf of the 57th Marine Unit! Surrender immediately, Gaku the Reaper! You are surrounded!"
Gaku smirked, stepping up to the edge of his stolen ship's deck. "Surrounded, huh? That's a big word for just three ships."
Ignoring the warning, the Marines wasted no time. Cannons roared, and a barrage of cannonballs whistled through the air toward Gaku's ship.
Reacting swiftly, Gaku leapt into the air using Geppo, the air-kicking technique, dodging the cannonballs with ease.
He soared higher, observing the ships below. The Marine blockade wasn't just relying on artillery; groups of soldiers with rifles and swords were positioned on each deck, ready to board if necessary.
"Guess they're serious," Gaku muttered, his sharp gaze locking onto the nearest vessel.
Before the Marines could fire another round, Gaku swooped down, landing with a resounding thud on the deck of the closest ship. The soldiers scrambled, shouting orders and drawing their weapons.
"Don't just stand there! Take him down!" one of the lieutenants barked.
But Gaku was already in motion. With a burst of speed, he blitzed through the first wave of Marines, his swift strikes incapacitating them before they could react. His movements were precise, almost surgical, as he neutralized the crew.
A particularly bold Marine lunged at him with a sword, but Gaku caught the blade with his bare hand, snapping it in two. He delivered a spinning kick that sent the Marine flying into the mast, knocking him out cold.
"Is this all you've got?" Gaku taunted, his voice carrying over the chaos.
The Marines on the other two ships, seeing their comrades being overwhelmed, adjusted their cannons to target the ship Gaku had boarded. The next volley of cannonballs was aimed directly at him.
"Seriously?" Gaku muttered, glancing at the incoming barrage.
With another powerful Geppo, he launched himself off the ship just as the cannonballs slammed into it, destroying the deck in a fiery explosion. Marines screamed as their ship began to sink, the water rushing in rapidly.
Hovering in the air, Gaku turned his attention to the remaining two ships. He could sense their growing desperation.
"Retreat is still an option, you know!" he called out mockingly.
But the Marines were resolute. From the largest ship, Captain Holf himself stepped forward, his imposing figure clad in traditional Marine attire. He wielded a massive battle axe, its blade gleaming ominously in the sunlight.
"You're not going anywhere, Gaku!" Holf roared. "This ends now!"
The captain leapt from his ship, his axe coming down with incredible force. Gaku narrowly avoided the attack, the weapon splitting the deck beneath him in two.
"You're persistent, I'll give you that," Gaku said, landing lightly a few feet away.
The two squared off, the tension thick in the air. Marines from the remaining ships cheered their captain on, confident that he would defeat the infamous escapee.
But Gaku's smirk didn't falter. "Alright, Captain. Show me what you've got."
The deck of the marine ship was tense as Captain Holf, a towering man with a thick, muscular frame and a menacing scar across his face, confronted Gaku. Holf was known for his ruthlessness, and his booming voice echoed over the crashing waves as he pointed his massive saber at Gaku.
"You think you can steal a marine ship and get away with it, scum?" Holf growled, his soldiers rallying behind him, weapons drawn.
Gaku stood in the center of the deck, arms crossed, his crimson eyes glowing faintly under the dim light. "I didn't just steal it, Holf. I'm taking it. Now, are you going to move, or do I have to make you?"
Holf snarled, gripping his saber tighter. "You'll regret underestimating the marines, pirate." With a swift motion, he lunged at Gaku, swinging his saber in a deadly arc.
Gaku dodged effortlessly, his movements fluid and calm. Holf's saber cleaved into the deck, splintering the wood. Before Holf could recover, Gaku launched a counterattack, delivering a spinning kick to the marine captain's ribs that sent him skidding across the deck.
The soldiers charged, but Gaku cut through them like a hurricane. His fists were like iron, and his kicks struck with the force of cannonballs. Within moments, most of the marines were incapacitated, groaning in pain on the deck.
"You're fast," Holf admitted, rising to his feet and spitting blood. "But you're nothing compared to me."
He roared as he activated his Devil Fruit powers, his body transforming into an armored, rock-like form. Holf's strength and durability skyrocketed, making him a walking fortress.
Gaku's eyes narrowed. "A Paramecia user, huh? This might actually be fun."
Holf charged again, his stone fist crashing down like a wrecking ball. Gaku blocked with both arms but was sent skidding back from the sheer force. The deck groaned under the impact.
Realizing Holf's increased durability, Gaku shifted tactics. Using Geppo, he kicked off the air to launch himself high above the ship before slamming down with a devastating axe kick imbued with Armament Haki. The force shattered Holf's stone armor, cracking his hardened exterior and sending him to his knees.
"You... bastard," Holf wheezed, blood trickling from his mouth as he struggled to stand.
Gaku stepped forward, towering over him. "You've lost, Holf. Now tell your men to stand down."
But instead of surrendering, Holf attempted one final, desperate attack. With a roar, he summoned all his strength and charged at Gaku. Without hesitation, Gaku sidestepped and delivered a devastating punch to Holf's temple, enhanced with Haki. The blow knocked the marine captain unconscious, his massive body collapsing with a thunderous crash.
The remaining soldiers, terrified after witnessing Holf's defeat, began to retreat. Gaku grabbed one trembling marine by the collar and lifted him effortlessly off the ground.
"Where's Marineford?" Gaku demanded, his tone icy.
The soldier hesitated, his teeth chattering. "I-It's straight ahead... but you're heading to your death! You won't survive against them!"
"That's not your problem," Gaku said, dropping the marine.
After binding the unconscious Holf to ensure no surprises, Gaku commandeered the marine ship, steering it toward Marineford.
As he navigated the ship, Gaku's thoughts were interrupted by an unexpected soundâa faint meow. Frowning, he descended below deck to investigate. What he found surprised him: a small black cat sitting in a cage, its red eyes glowing eerily in the dim light.
"Huh. A cat?" Gaku muttered, crouching to examine it.
"Let me out," a voice said, startling Gaku. He looked around, ready to eliminate whoever was there, before realizing the voice came from the cat.
"You're talking?" Gaku asked, his crimson eyes narrowing.
The cat sighed. "Yes, I'm talking. Now let me out of this cage. I'll make it worth your while."
Gaku raised an eyebrow. "And why should I trust you?"
"Because," the cat said, its tone begrudging, "I'll swear loyalty to you. That's the deal."
Gaku considered for a moment before smirking. "A talking black cat as a companion, huh? Could be interesting."
He opened the cage, and the cat leapt out gracefully. "My name is Panther Lili," it said, sitting primly and flicking its tail.
"Panther Lili, huh?" Gaku mused. "Too long. I'll call you Lil."
The cat growled softly but said nothing.
Back on the deck, Gaku steered the ship while Lili sat perched on the railing, observing the horizon.
"You're really heading to Marineford?" Lili asked. "You know what's waiting there, right? Whitebeard, the Admirals... It's suicide."
"Maybe," Gaku said, a rare smirk crossing his face. "But I made a promise, and besides, it sounds fun."
Lili sighed, resting his head on his paws. "I really regret swearing loyalty to you."
Their conversation was cut short as a powerful gust of wind rocked the ship. The sea ahead began to churn violently, and both Gaku and Lili stared in shock as a massive tsunami rose before them, towering over the horizon.
"What the hell?" Gaku muttered, gripping the helm tightly.
Before the wave could crash down, it froze solid, the sea turning into an icy expanse. The sudden drop in temperature was bone-chilling, and Lili shivered.
"Who could've done this?" Lili asked, his voice trembling.
"A monster," Gaku replied, his eyes narrowing.
As the ship sailed closer, the frozen battlefield of Marineford came into view. From the deck, Gaku could see the chaos unfoldingâthe mightiest forces of the world clashing in a war for supremacy.
"Looks like we've arrived," Gaku said, a rare grin of excitement spreading across his face.
Lili clung to his back as Gaku leapt from the ship, diving into the fray below. The battlefield had gained another unpredictable force, one that could tip the balance of this monumental war.
As Gaku stood atop the frozen tsunami, Panther Lili clung tightly to his back. The chilling air cut across their faces as they gazed upon the chaos belowâa battlefield filled with legends and powers that could shake the world.
Gaku's sharp eyes scanned the scene, noting every notable figure.
On the Marine side, he saw Mihawk, the greatest swordsman in the world, standing tall with his massive black blade, Yoru, effortlessly cutting through waves of pirates.
Near him was the flamboyant Doflamingo, laughing maniacally as he toyed with his enemies like puppets on strings.
Boa Hancock, as elegant as she was deadly, unleashed her petrifying beauty on any unfortunate enough to face her.
Kuma, the towering cyborg, dispatched enemies with calculated precision.
And Moria, the shadow manipulator, seemed to be reveling in the carnage.
The three AdmiralsâAokiji, Kizaru, and Akainu
âeach commanded vast swathes of the battlefield, their sheer presence intimidating even the bravest of fighters. Ice, light, and magma carved through the ranks of Whitebeard's allies with devastating force.
Standing at the heart of the Marine forces was Sengoku, the Fleet Admiral
alongside Garp the Hero, both radiating authority and power
Near them, chained and battered, was the centerpiece of the warâPortgas D. Ace, his execution drawing closer with every passing second.
On the pirate side, Gaku saw the legendary Whitebeard, the strongest man alive, bleeding but still exuding unparalleled dominance. His massive frame stood as a beacon of defiance, his bisento sweeping through Marines like a force of nature.
Beside him were his commanders: Marco the Phoenix, healing and fighting with unyielding energy,
and Jozu, the diamond-bodied juggernaut, who tanked attacks that would obliterate anyone else.
And amidst the chaos, Gaku's observation haki locked onto a familiar presenceâLuffy, leading the charge with the Impel Down escapees. The young pirate threw himself against hordes of Marines, unwavering in his determination to save his brother.
The sheer magnitude of power on display was overwhelming, yet Gaku felt exhilarated. He smirked, his adrenaline surging.
"This... this is a battlefield worthy of my strength," Gaku said, his voice low but laced with excitement.
As Gaku leaped from the frozen wave, the wind howled past him. Lili clung tighter, shouting, "Are you insane?! This isn't just a battlefieldâit's a graveyard waiting to happen!"
Gaku ignored him, his body crashing into the frozen sea below, creating a massive shockwave. Ice cracked beneath him, and the battlefield briefly paused as combatants turned to face the unexpected arrival.
"Who is that?" a Marine shouted.
"It's Gaku the Reaper!" another answered, terror lacing their voice. "He escaped from Impel Down with Straw Hat Luffy!"
Whispers and shouts spread through the ranks.
"Gaku the Reaper?!"
"He's supposed to be one of the most dangerous prisoners locked away!"
Luffy, noticing the commotion, turned to see Gaku. His face lit up with recognition.
"Gaku!" he yelled, relief evident in his voice.
Crocodile and Ivankov also noticed him. Crocodile smirked. "He survived. Impressive."
Ivankov's eyes widened. "He's even crazier than I thought!"
Even Whitebeard, watching the battlefield with a calculating gaze, took note of Gaku's entrance. "Another new face in the chaos, eh?" he muttered, a hint of interest in his voice. "This new generation is full of surprises."
Gaku straightened, his body soaked but unfazed by the cold. He scanned the area, his observation haki pinpointing threats and allies alike. A towering Vice Admiral charged at him, swinging a massive axe.
"You won't cause any more trouble here!" the Marine bellowed.
Gaku's response was immediate. He dodged the swing effortlessly, closing the distance and delivering a devastating punch to the Vice Admiral's chest. The force sent the Marine flying, crashing into a group of his comrades.
The display silenced any doubts about Gaku's strength. Marines hesitated, unsure whether to engage.
"Stay out of my way," Gaku said coldly, his voice carrying across the frozen battlefield.
Lili, still on his back, shiveredânot from the cold but from the sheer aura Gaku exuded. "You're insane," the cat muttered.
Ignoring the comment, Gaku used his observation haki to locate Luffy. Once he pinpointed him, Gaku started moving through the chaos, cutting down any Marine foolish enough to cross his path.
The battlefield was now even more unpredictable, with Gaku's arrival adding another wildcard to the war. As he made his way toward Luffy, the Reaper's presence loomed large, a new force in the chaos that would soon shape the tide of battle.
