The atmosphere on Sabaody Archipelago was electric that day, a strange mix of excitement and tension. Rumors had spread like wildfire that the infamous Straw Hat Pirates, thought to be scattered or dead after their defeat two years prior, had returned.
In Grove 46, chaos reigned as a fake group of pirates claiming to be the Straw Hats caused trouble, extorting locals and tarnishing the crew's reputation. Among the crowd, whispers and doubts began to arise. Could the real Straw Hat Pirates be back, or was this another ploy?

Nami was the first of the crew to step into the grove. Her orange hair flowed with the breeze, and her serene confidence was palpable. She didn't say much, but her sharp eyes scanned her surroundings. Usopp followed not far behind, his new, muscular physique and confident gait a stark contrast to the cowardly sniper of two years ago.
"Looks like a lot's changed here," Nami remarked, adjusting her Clima-Tact.
Usopp smirked. "Doesn't matter. With what I've learned, I can take down anyone who gets in our way."
Nami gave him a skeptical glance but smiled. "I'll hold you to that."

Sanji's arrival was as dramatic as ever. When he spotted Nami and Robin, who had also quietly made her way into the grove, his nose erupted with a geyser of blood.
"NAMI-SWAN! ROBIN-CHWAN!" he screamed, spinning in circles as his heart pounded audibly.
Robin chuckled softly. "It's nice to see some things never change."
Sanji, now lying flat on the ground from his own overexcitement, weakly muttered, "It was worth it..."

Franky's massive frame entered next, now with exaggerated cyborg upgrades that gleamed in the sunlight. Chopper rode on his shoulder, his big blue hat a comforting sight to all. Meanwhile, Brook strode behind them, his bony hands strumming his guitar, singing a lively tune to announce their return.
"This place feels even livelier than before!" Brook said. "Yohohoho!"

Zoro, as always, had a knack for dramatic entrances. Instead of walking calmly into the grove, he mistakenly sliced a ship in half while trying to navigate his way. The crowd gasped in awe as the ship fell apart behind him.
"Oops. Wrong turn," Zoro muttered, completely unfazed.

Finally, Luffy arrived. He strode into the grove with a calm yet commanding presence, no longer the carefree boy they once knew but a man who had weathered immense trials. He wore his iconic straw hat, a symbol of his unwavering resolve, and greeted his crew with a massive grin.
"Oi! Everyone's here!" Luffy said, his voice brimming with excitement.
The reunion was emotional. They exchanged stories, marveled at each other's growth, and laughed like old friends.

The immense form of Zunesha, the ancient elephant that carried the island of Zou on its back, loomed above the endless waves. From the vantage point of their small boat, Gaku and Lili stared up in awe. The massive creature's every step sent ripples across the sea, and its sheer size was enough to make even the daring duo pause.
Lili, perched on Gaku's shoulder, gazed upward with bright, wide eyes. "There it is! Zou! My home!"
Gaku smirked, adjusting the massive mace slung across his back. "So this is where you came from, huh? You never mentioned it was on top of a walking mountain."
"It's been years since I last saw it," Lili said softly, his usually cocky demeanor replaced with a rare hint of nostalgia.
The climb to Zou wasn't easy. Using the streams of water cascading down Zunesha's colossal legs, they scaled the towering beast. Gaku found himself oddly impressed by Lili's determination. The climb was grueling, but Lili's excitement seemed to fuel him.
When they finally reached the top, Gaku was greeted by a sight unlike anything he had ever seen. Lush forests sprawled across the elephant's back, interspersed with quaint homes built into massive trees. The air was crisp and filled with the scent of earth and greenery.
Before Gaku could fully take it all in, a group of minks emerged from the dense foliage, their weapons drawn. They were an intimidating sight: tall, muscular warriors with animalistic features, their eyes gleaming with suspicion.
"Who dares to trespass on Zou?" a tall lion mink growled, his spear pointed directly at Gaku.
Lili leaped from Gaku's shoulder and stepped forward, his ears twitching. "Hey, take it easy! I'm one of you!"
The minks hesitated, their eyes narrowing as they scrutinized Lili. One of them, a wolf mink with gray fur and sharp eyes, stepped closer. "You... look familiar. What's your name?"
"Lili. I left years ago, but I was born here," Lili explained, his tone surprisingly earnest.
The tension eased slightly, but their attention shifted to Gaku. The red-eyed warrior stood tall and unbothered, his hand resting casually on the hilt of his mace. His presence was enough to put the minks on edge.
"And him?" the lion mink asked.
Gaku raised a hand in mock surrender. "Just a friend. Promise I won't break anything... unless you start it."
The wolf mink snorted but gestured for them to follow. "Fine. But don't try anything funny."
Over the next few days, Gaku and Lili worked to prove themselves. The initial hostility melted away as Gaku joined in with the minks during sparring sessions, earning their respect with his unmatched combat skills. Lili, meanwhile, reconnected with his roots, rekindling bonds with old friends and reminiscing about his childhood.
The turning point came when the duo joined a grand feast hosted by the minks. Beneath the light of the full moon, tables were laden with food and drink. Gaku, always one to appreciate a good meal, found himself enjoying the lively atmosphere.
"You're not so bad, after all," the lion mink admitted, raising a mug of ale in Gaku's direction.
Gaku smirked, clinking his own mug against the lion's. "I could've told you that days ago."
The wolf mink chuckled. "Lili wasn't lying when he said he had an interesting friend."
Lili, perched on a tree stump, grinned smugly. "Told you guys he was cool. You were all just too quick to judge."

Time passed quickly on Zou. Gaku found himself enjoying the peaceful life, a stark contrast to the chaos he was used to. The minks treated him like one of their own, inviting him to hunts, feasts, and training sessions.
One afternoon, Gaku and Lili lounged on a wooden platform overlooking the forest. The sun filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows across the ground.
"This place isn't so bad," Gaku admitted, leaning back against a tree.
"I told you," Lili said, stretching lazily. "Zou's the best. No crazy marines, no insane emperorsâjust good food, good company, and peace."
Gaku smirked. "You make it sound like I'm the one who attracts trouble."
Lili shot him a look. "You literally started a war between two emperors. If anyone attracts trouble, it's you."
Gaku chuckled, closing his eyes. "Fair point."
Despite their banter, Gaku couldn't deny the truth in Lili's words. Zou was a haven, a place where they could finally catch their breath. But deep down, he knew their peace wouldn't last forever.

The sun hung high over the vibrant forests of Zou as Gaku and Lili rested near the edge of a large clearing. The tranquil atmosphere was broken when Nekomamushi
the jovial yet imposing feline chief of the minks, approached with
Inuarashi his equally dignified canine counterpart. The two leaders, though often at odds, had come together for this moment, carrying a rolled-up newspaper.
"Gaku, thought you might wanna see this," Nekomamushi said, his toothy grin widening as he handed over the journal.
Gaku raised an eyebrow, taking the paper and scanning the headlines. It described the events of Sabaody Archipelago, where the Straw Hat Pirates had dramatically reunited after two years apart. The detailed account of their escape from the grasp of the marines and their subsequent departure for Fish-Man Island brought a faint smile to Gaku's face.
"Figured they'd be back together around now," Gaku said, his tone as calm as ever.
Lili, perched nearby on a rock, leaned over to get a look. "Those guys again, huh? You're oddly fond of them for someone who claims not to care about much."
Gaku shrugged, folding the paper. "Some of them are interesting, that's all. Besides, I owe their captain one."
The minks around them began to murmur excitedly, their curiosity about the Straw Hats sparking chatter among the crowd.
"They're making waves again," Inuarashi remarked, his tone measured. "But I have a feeling this is only the beginning."
Before they could delve deeper into the conversation, a sudden tension rippled through the air. The minks' keen senses picked up on something approachingâsomething dangerous. The trees seemed to shudder as the sound of heavy footsteps grew closer.
From the forest's edge emerged a large group of pirates, their crude laughter and heavy boots trampling the peaceful clearing. At the forefront was Jack, one of Kaido's Three Disasters, his hulking form and fierce presence dominating the scene. The ivory tusks on his mask glinted menacingly in the sunlight, and his reputation as a ruthless brute preceded him.
The minks immediately went on high alert, their warriors stepping forward with weapons drawn. Nekomamushi and Inuarashi exchanged a grim look before moving to the front of their people.
Jack wasted no time with pleasantries. His deep, gravelly voice cut through the tension like a blade. "I'll make this simple. Hand over Raizo, and no one has to die. Resist, and I'll burn this place to the ground."
The minks erupted into snarls and growls, their loyalty to their kin unwavering. "Raizo is not here!" Nekomamushi roared, his claws unsheathing.
Jack's eyes narrowed, his patience clearly wearing thin. "Wrong answer."
Lili tugged on Gaku's sleeve, his voice low but urgent. "Hey, we can't just stand here. You've gotta help them!"
Gaku, leaning lazily against a tree, sighed deeply. "You always drag me into these things, you know that?"
Despite his words, Gaku straightened up, rolling his shoulders as he stepped forward. His crimson eyes locked onto Jack's towering form, his calm yet dangerous demeanor drawing the attention of everyone present.
"You're Jack, right?" Gaku said, his voice steady but tinged with curiosity. "Big bounty, big reputation... but you're really bad at asking nicely."
Jack glared down at him, unimpressed. "And you are?"
"Just a guy passing through," Gaku replied with a smirk. "But if you're looking to start trouble, I might have to stretch my legs a bit."
The minks watched in stunned silence as Gaku confronted Jack, his nonchalant attitude a stark contrast to the tension in the air. Jack, however, was not one to be intimidated.
"You think you can stand in my way?" Jack growled, his massive hands clenching into fists.
Gaku's smirk widened as he unslung his mace, the weapon's weight causing the ground beneath him to crack slightly. "Guess there's only one way to find out."
As the two titans squared off, the minks and pirates braced for the clash, the calm of Zou shattered by the storm of impending battle.
