Allentown Regional Semifinals: Michigan Wolverines

After an incredible ride to this point, the Colgate Raiders head to Allentown, Pennsylvania to play their biggest challenge yet, the Michigan Wolverines on Friday night in eastern Pennsylvania. With 10:20 left in the first period, Nick Granowicz scored to make it 1-0 Wolverines. Carter Gylander and Erik Portillo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 for the boys from the Ann Arbor it remains heading to the second period. With 12:27 left in the second period, Eric Ciccolini scored to make it 2-0 Michigan. With 11:42 left in the second period, Adam Fantilli scored to make it 3-0 Wolverines. With 8:54 left in the second period, Frank Nazar III scored to make it 4-0 Michigan. With 8:24 left in the second period, Mark Estapa scored to make it 5-0 Wolverines. With 7:29 left in the second period, Rutger McGroaty scored to make it 6-0 for the boys from Ann Arbor. With 4:11 left in the second period, Gavin Brindley scored to make it 7-0 Michigan. With 3:06 left in the second period, Luke Hughes scored to make it 8-0 Wolverines. Coach Vaughan pulled Carter Gylander out of the net and so, Andrew Takacs fills in for the remainder of the game. Takacs and Portillo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 8-0 Michigan heading to the third period. With 16:57 left in the third period, Nic Belpedio scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 8-1 Wolverines. With 9:43 left in the third period, Luke Hughes scored to make it 9-1 Michigan. With 9:27 left in the third period, Dylan Duke scored to make it 10-1 Wolverines. Coach Vaughan pulled Andrew Takacs and so, Carter Gylander is back in net for the Raiders. With 7:08 left in the third period, Rutger McGroaty scored to make it 11-1 Wolverines. Erik Portillo finished off the Raiders and Michigan surges past Colgate 11-1.
