After an infuriating and disappointing loss last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to finish the weekend series with Northern Michigan in the weekend series finale this afternoon. With 2:28 left in the first period, Alex Young scored his first goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Beni Halasz matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 12:28 left in the second period, Brett Willits scored to tie the game 1-1. With 8:35 left in the second period, David Keefer scored to make it 2-1 Wildcats. Gylander and Halasz matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Northern Michigan after two periods of play. With 1:39 left in the third period, Andre Ghantous scored to make it 3-1 Wildcats. With 24 seconds left in the third period, David Keefer scored to make it 4-1 Northern Michigan. Beni Halasz finished off the Raiders and Northern Michigan wins 4-1. Colgate dropped to 0-2-0 on the season.
