Game 2: CLG Leads The Series 1-0

After just a tremendous win last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Appleton Arena hoping to end St. Lawrence's season with a series clinching win tonight. With 3:13 left in the first period, Ethan Manderville scored his eighth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Emil Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 19:15 left in the second period, Alex DiPaolo scored his eleventh goal of the season to make it 2-0 Hamiltonians. With 12:53 left in the second period, Matt Verboon scored his sixteenth goal of the season to make it 3-0 Colgate. With 12:33 left in the second period, Mason Waite scored to make it 3-1 Raiders. Gylander and Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-1 Hamiltonians it remains heading to the third period. With 2:32 left in the third period, Ty Naaykens scored to make it 3-2 Colgate! Carter Gylander finished off the Skating Saints and Colgate advances to the ECAC Hockey Semifinals because of a 3-2 win and a 2-0 series win over St. Lawrence!
