After a disappointing end to the regular season, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena for a one game, winner take all playoff game against Dartmouth on Friday night in Central New York. With 17:23 left in the first period, Brady MacDonald scored to make it 1-0 Dartmouth. With 15:55 left in the first period, Ben Raymond scored his fifth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 11:30 left in the first period, Simon Labelle scored his third goal of the season to make it 2-1 Raiders. Carter Gylander and Cooper Black matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Colgate remains our score heading to period number two. With 14:12 left in the second period, Colton Young scored his ninth goal of the season, short handed to make it 3-1 Hamiltonians. Gylander and Black matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-1 Colgate it stands heading to the third period. With 12:11 left in the third period, Matt Verboon scored his fifteenth goal of the season, on the two man advantage to make it 4-1 Colgate. With 10:05 left in the third period, Alex DiPaolo scored his tenth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 5-1 Raiders. With 8:30 left in the third period, Sean Chisholm scored to make it 5-2 Hamiltonians. With 6:15 left in the third period, Luke Haymes scored to make it 5-3 Colgate! Carter Gylander finished off the Big Green and Colgate survives 5-3! Colgate will now wait for the results of tomorrow's games to see where they'll play next weekend!
