After a tremendous battle betwixt Two Hated Rivals last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders wrap up the regular season on the road against the Yale University Bulldogs on Friday night in New Haven. With 16:32 left in the first period, Alex Young scored his nineteenth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 15:22 left in the first period, Connor Sullivan scored to tie the game 1-1. With 8:21 left in the first period, Daniel Panetta scored his third goal of the season to make it 2-1 Raiders. Carter Gylander and Nathan Reid matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Hamiltonians it remains heading to the second period. Gylander and Reid matched zeros in the second period so, 2-1 Colgate remains our score heading to a crucial third period. With 10:11 left in the third period, Ian Carpentier scored to tie the game 2-2. With 9:27 left in the third period, Reilly Connors scored to make it 3-2 Yale. With 1:25 left in the third period, Ryan Conroy scored to make it 4-2 Bulldogs. Nathan Reid finished off the Raiders and Yale wins 4-2. Colgate dropped to 14-15-4 on the season and 11-8-2 in ECAC Hockey play.
