13-14-2: #11 Cornell Big Red (10-7-0 ECAC Hockey)

After a rather infuriating loss last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to finish the weekend series with Cornell in the game tonight. With 18:47 left in the first period, Ben Berard scored to make it 1-0 Cornell. With 10:32 left in the first period, Nick DeSantis scored to make it 2-0 Big Red. With 6:43 left in the first period, Jack Malone scored to make it 3-0 Red. With 3:45 left in the first period, Colton Young scored his seventh goal of the season to make it 3-1 Cornell. With .4 seconds left in the first period, Nick Anderson scored his third goal of the season to make it 3-2 Big Red. Carter Gylander and Ian Shane matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-2 Red remains our score heading to period number two. Cornell Coach Mike Schafer mysteriously pulled Ian Shane out of the net and so, Remington Keopple filled in for the remainder of the game. With 18:08 left in the second period, Ethan Manderville scored his sixth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 3-3. With 7:59 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his eighteenth goal of the season to make it 4-3 Colgate. With 4:08 left in the second period, Jack Malone scored to tie the game 4-4. Gylander and Keopple matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-4 we are still tied heading to a crucial third period. Gylander and Keopple matched zeros in the third period so, 4-4 remains our score and we'll play extra hockey. Gylander and Keopple matched zeros in overtime so, we'll head to a shootout with a 4-4 tie game between Colgate and Cornell. Ross Mitton scored in the shootout and Colgate wins 6-5!
