McAvoy '21 Brought Onto The Coaching Staff

In January of 2023, Colgate brought back one of their own as a volunteer assistant coach. Mister Paul McAvoy is back on campus but not as a player but as a volunteer assistant coach on Don Vaughan's staff. Paul McAvoy was a major contributor to the 2021-22 team that went to Lake Placid and Coach Vaughan is confident that McAvoy will be great behind the bench. McAvoy finished his illustrious Colgate journey with 41 career points with 20 career goals for a team he's evidently assisting in coaching. Honestly, I'm thrilled that Paul is back at the rink at Colgate in some capacity and I hope for nothing but the best for him as he begins his coaching career hopefully it'll stay at Colgate University!
