After a disappointing loss last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Hanover, New Hampshire to play the Dartmouth College Big Green on Saturday night at Thompson Arena. Carter Gylander and Cooper Black matched zeros in the first period so, we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 14:56 left in the second period, Tanner Palocsik scored to make it 1-0 Dartmouth. With 14:22 left in the second period, Matt Verboon scored his twelfth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 5:11 left in the second period, Jack Cameron scored to make it 2-1 Big Green. Gylander and Black matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Dartmouth it stands heading to a crucial third period. With 12:17 left in the third period, Colton Young scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 2-2. With 5:35 left in the third period, Ross Mitton scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 1:07 left in the third period, Braiden Dorfman scored to tie the game 3-3. Gylander and Black matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra hockey because of a 3-3 tie between Colgate and Dartmouth. With 45 seconds left in overtime, Alex Young scored his sixteenth goal of the season to win the game for the Raiders 4-3! Colgate improved to 13-11-2 on the season and 10-4-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
