After an incredible game last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Cambridge, Massachusetts to play the Harvard University Crimson in another crucial game of ECAC Hockey. With 12:25 left in the first period, Alex Young scored his fourteenth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 8:04 left in the first period, Ross Mitton scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Raiders. With 7:38 left in the first period, Alex Lafferriere scored to make it 2-1 Hamiltonians. With 1:13 left in the first period, Alex Lafferriere scored to tie the game 2-2. Carter Gylander and Derek Mullahy matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-2 remains our score heading to period number two. With 15:31 left in the second period, Ryan McGuire scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 14:45 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his fifteenth goal of the season, his second goal of the game to make it 4-2 Raiders. Gylander and Mullahy matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-2 Hamiltonians we stand after two periods in Cambridge. With 17:42 left in the third period, Zakary Karpa scored to make it 4-3 Colgate. With 40 seconds left in the third period, Henry Thrun scored to tie the game 4-4. Gylander and Mullahy matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra hockey because of a 4-4 tie between Colgate and Harvard. With 2:45 left in overtime, Matthew Coronato scored to win the game for the Crimson 5-4. Colgate dropped to 12-11-2 on the season and 9-4-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
