9-10-2: Union Dutchmen (6-3-0 ECAC Hockey)

After a very disappointing loss last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Schenectady,New York to play the Union College Dutchmen today at Messa Rink. With 5:10 left in the first period, Matt Verboon scored his tenth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Connor Murphy matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 17:56 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his thirteenth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Hamiltonians. With 14:56 left in the second period, Nate Hanley scored to make it 2-1 Colgate.  Gylander and Murphy matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Raiders it remains heading to a crucial third period. Carter Gylander finished off the Dutchmen and Colgate wins 2-1! Colgate improved to 10-10-2 on the season and 7-3-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
