After a triumphant trip to Lake Placid over the holidays, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play host to the Maine Black Bears this weekend in the final non-conference action of the season. With 14:15 left in the first period, Nolan Renwick scored to make it 1-0 Black Bears. With 9:54 left in the first period, Alex Young scored his tenth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 6:09 left in the first period, Alex Young scored his eleventh goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Jacob Mucitelli matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 13:38 left in the second period, Brandon Holt scored to tie the game 2-2. With 9:54 left in the second period, Sebastian Tamburro scored his first career goal to make it 3-2 Hamiltonians. With 5:04 left in the second period, Ross Mitton scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 4-2 Colgate. With 3:57 left in the second period, Arnaud Vachon scored his first goal of the season, on the power play to make it 5-2 Raiders! Gylander and Mucitelli matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 5-2 Hamiltonians it stands heading to the third period. Maine Coach Ben Barr pulled Jacob Mucitelli out of the net and so, Connor Androlewicz filled in for the remainder of the game. Carter Gylander finished off the Black Bears and Colgate wins 5-2! Colgate improved to 9-9-1 on the season!
