At Houston Fieldhouse this afternoon, the Colgate Raiders return to the ice for the first time since late March as they play an exhibition game against the Rensselaer Engineers this afternoon. With 4:07 left in the first period, Nick Strom scored to make it 1-0 Engineers. Carter Gylander and Jack Watson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 RPI it remains heading to the second period. With eight minutes left in the second period, Matt Verboon scored to tie the game 1-1. With 7:29 left in the second period, Ryan McGuire scored to make it 2-1 Colgate. Gylander and Watson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Raiders it remains heading to the third period. With 13:37 left in the third period, John Beaton scored to tie the game 2-2. With 10:01 left in the third period, Arnaud Vachon scored to make it 3-2 Hamiltonians. With 4:10 left in the third period, Ethan Manderville scored to make it 4-2 Colgate! Carter Gylander finished off the Engineers and Colgate comes from behind early and wins 4-2! The Raiders will head home to play an additional exhibition game tomorrow!
