4-7-1: Brown Bears (2-2-0 ECAC Hockey)

After a rather dominant win last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to continue ECAC Hockey play against the Brown University Bears in Hamilton tonight. With 13:23 left in the first period, Matt Verboon scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Carter Gylander and Mathieu Caron matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 12:51 left in the second period, Ryan Bottrill scored to tie the game 1-1. With 3:04 left in the second period, Bradley Cocca scored to make it 2-1 Brown. Gylander and Caron matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Bruno it stands heading to period number three. With 10:40 left in the third period, Ben Raymond scored his second goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. Gylander and Caron matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, 2-2 we stand after sixty minutes and we'll play extra hockey. With 1:30 left in overtime, Colton Young scored his third goal of the season to win the game for the Raiders 3-2! Colgate improved to 5-7-1 on the season and 3-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
