After a bit of a disappointing weekend last weekend, the Colgate Raiders head to Hamden,Connecticut to play the Quinnipiac Bobcats tonight at M&T Bank Arena. Carter Gylander and Yaniv Perets matched zeros in the first period so, we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 13:11 left in the second period, Matt Verboon scored his third goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 11:56 left in the second period, Alex Young scored his third goal of the season to make it 2-0 Raiders. With 5:18 left in the second period, Zach Metsa scored to make it 2-1 Hamiltonians. Gylander and Perets matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Colgate it stands heading to period number three. With 15:43 left in the third period, Collin Graf scored to tie the game 2-2. With 10:15 left in the third period, Ethan de Jong scored to make it 3-2 Bobcats. Yaniv Perets finished off the Raiders and Quinnipiac wins 3-2. Colgate dropped to 2-6-1 on the season and 0-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
