I won't be too long. My arse. I've being sat in this hotel room for Four hours. Four bloody hours!

I've completed the whole design of the house, for god sake and he's still not bloody back!

What the hell is he doing?!

I was just about to grab my phone, when it started ringing. I didn't even check the ID before answering it. "Hello?"

"Sorry, love" I heard Nik apologise down the phone. "Where the hell are you? I finished the blueprints ages ago"

"I won't be long, I got carried away" Nik told me, making me raise my eyebrows. "Got carried away doing what?" I asked confused.

"A surprise. Now I won't be long. I love you" Nik spoke, making me smile. "I love you too" I told him before putting the phone down.

I flopped back down onto the bed, smiling as I rubbed my hand over my little bump. I still couldn't believe that I was pregnant.

Our little miracle.

I grabbed my phone, calling Phoebe to check in. "Hi mum" I smiled, still not believing that I had my daughter back. "Hi, sweetheart. I'm just checking in"

"Well, um..." She trailed off, obviously not wanting to tell me what's going off. "What's going off sweetheart?" I asked sitting up, worried about what was going off back in Mystic Falls.

"DamonAndStefanKnowThatYourPregnant" She blurted out, so fast that I could barely hear her, but I did.

"How?" I asked running my hand through my hair. "We were all out at the grill, and it came up in conversation, and they over-heard" She explained, making me nod my head, even though she couldn't see me.

"Did they say anything" I asked her, wanting to know how they'd react. "I don't think they believed us" She told me, making me sigh in relief.

I know that when they find out it's true, that they would cause us nothing but trouble.

"Anything else?" I asked her. "Nope, not really. It's been quiet. How's your romantic trip away?" Phoebe asked making me roll my eyes.

"I wouldn't call it romantic. Nik took me to this patch of land, told me we were going to have a home here, and then brought me to a hotel. Then this morning he buggered off, and he's being out since" I told her, making her giggle.

"We all knew he'd get carried away" She mumbled making my eyebrows shoot up. "Wait. You know what he's up to, don't you? Spill" I told her making her laugh.

"I can't, I promised dad. You'll love it though" She told me making me smile. Ever since the night we found out I was pregnant she's stuck to calling Nik, dad, and I never got tired of hearing it, and I don't think he has either, if the smile that appears on his face every time he hears her.

It's nice to know that she loves Nik like a father.

Before I could say anything the door opened revealing Nik. "Alright, sweetie. Well, Nik's back, so I'm gonna get going. Behave, and I love you" I told her, staring at Nik who stood at the bottom of the bed.

"Alright, mum. I love you too. Tell dad I love him" I could hear her smile down the phone. "I love you too, princess" Nik called, obviously hearing her.

"Have fun" Phoebe called, before she put the phone down.

I dropped the phone onto the bed, looking over at Nik. "Where the hell have you been? I've finished the blueprints" I told him, making him nod, with a smile on his face.

"It's a surprise" He laughed, knowing I hated surprises. "Nik" I groaned, making him laugh louder, noticing my pout.

"I'm glad I'm amusing you, Mr Mikaelson" I mumbled crossing my arms over my chest, sulking. "You are very amusing, Mrs Mikaelson. Throwing a tantrum, like a child" He laughed making me roll my eyes.

"I don't like surprises. And I'm pregnant. Give me a break" I told him, making a wide smile appear on his lips.

"And how are my Queen and our little miracle?" He asked as he came and laid on the bed next to me, pulling me into his arms.

"We missed you" I mumbled, as I snuggled into him, as he pressed a kiss to my forehead.

"Well, you've finished the blueprints, meaning we can get my hybrids started on it and the compelled workers. I've finished what I wanted, so now, we can spend time together. Just us" He told me making me look up at him, as he ran his fingers through my hair.

"Sounds good to me" I whispered, not wanting to ruin the relaxed atmosphere. I loved how we could forget about our problems, even though we didn't have any, right now.

I mean, let's face it. One day we're bound to have trouble. We're vampires, we live forever. So it's going to come knocking on our door one day.

"So what do you have planned for today?" I asked my husband. "Today, we're going to stay in this hotel room, and spend some quality time together" He whispered, as he hovered his lips over mine.

"Sounds perfect" I whispered pulling his lips against mine. The kiss wasn't rough, it was passionate. We were pouring all of our love into this one kiss.

As we once again fell over the edge at Two in the morning, I felt exhausted. We literally haven't stopped since Nik got back.

"I love you" I whispered, smiling up at him, earning a smirk from him. "I love you too, love" He kissed my lips, before rolling off of me, making me groan at the loss of contact between us.

Nik laid on his side, facing me, before rolling me onto my side, pulling me closer to him, so he was spooning me, with his arms wrapped around me, keeping me close to him, his hand resting on my stomach. Holding us both.

I woke up to Nik shaking me awake with a wide smile on his face. "Come on, love. Time to wake up. We're going shopping" He smirked down at me, making me groan. "Go away, Nik. Leave me alone" I groaned as I rolled over, making me realise what time it was.

"Nik! It's bloody Nine O'clock. You had me up until early this morning. Just let me sleep" I groaned, making him laugh.

"I didn't hear you complaining last night. In fact if I remember correctly, you were loving it" He laughed making me throw a pillow at him, with a laugh.

Of course I enjoyed it.

"What are we even going shopping for?" I asked him, rolling onto my back. "Well, unless you want a home that's empty, we need to go. You can shop your little heart out" He winked at me, making me roll my eyes, but sit up anyway.

"Fine, I'm up" I grumbled as I stepped out of the bed, not bothered that I was stark naked, which Nik hungrily took in.

I got a quick shower, before getting changed into an off the shoulder dress in a nude pink, pairing them with some nude pink, high heeled sandals.

I decided to straighten my hair today, and keep it down. It was a nice day out, it looked that warm, that I decided to go against make-up, since by the end of the day, I would probably look like a bloody panda.

As I walked out of the bathroom, Nik was sat on the bed, with his phone to his ear. "We'll be home when the house is done" Nik said, annoyed at whoever it was on the other end.

"But, Nik. You took my best friend from me. Now me and poor Phoebe are stuck with these idiots" I heard Bekah complain, making me laugh.

I can guarantee that its Kol and Henrik who is doing her head in. Elijah and Finn are always relaxed, and sorry to say, but sometimes act like there's a stick up their arses. So they rarely mess about.

"You'll get over it Bekah. Besides, she's my wife. So if I want to spend some time alone with her, I will. Now goodbye" Nik told her, putting the phone down, before she had the chance to say anything else.

"Well, don't you just look ravishing, love" Nik smirked as he looked me up and down. "Well, don't expect it to last. I'm going to be the size of an elephant soon" I grumbled, sitting down next to him.

Nik wrapped his arm around my shoulder, pulling me towards him. "You'll still look ravishing, love" Nik told me, pressing his lips against my forehead.

"No. I'll be fat, and hormonal" I corrected him. "But, you'll still be gorgeous to me" He smiled down at me, squeezing me a little closer to him, before he stood up, holding his hand out towards me.

"Let's go and shop" Nik winked at me, making me roll my eyes.

He had me in every shop, getting everything we liked, then compelled them to have everything delivered to a storage unit, where he had a couple of his hybrids waiting, to make sure nothing gets broken.

"Seriously, Nik" I groaned as he pulled me into another shop. I was tired, and I couldn't be bothered to even look at anything in another store.

"What's wrong, love? You used to enjoy getting everything for our new home" Nik asked worried. "I'm tired" I groaned as he wrapped his arm around my waist, letting me lean on him.

"Well, we'll make this our last shop and we'll get out of here" He told me pressing his lips against the top of my head.

I don't know what else we needed. We've got everything for the house, including the paint and everything else we needed to decorate it, once the house was built.

But, it's my fault for designing a massive home, which had everything in it. But once it's all done, it'll be worth it. Especially since it'll be a family home, with the people I love most.

I stopped in my tracks when I noticed the perfect furniture for the balcony in mine and Nik's room.

"So where are these going to go?" He asked raising his eyebrows, with his lips twitching, since everytime he asks I give him the same answer.

"It's a surprise" I smirked at him, just as a salesman came walking over to us. "Can I help you both?" He asked, but looked at me.

"We want to buy these" Nik told him, trying to stop the creepy guy staring at me. "Ok. But I'm going to need your number"

Wow! Is he wanting to be killed? My husband's stood right next to me – who may I add is a hybrid – and he's asking for my number.

"Excuse me?" I asked, shocked. Is this kid for real?

"I'm gonna need your number" He smirked at me, once again ignoring Nik's presence, who by the looks of it was ready to kill the crazy human.

Before I could even say anything, Nik grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him towards him. "You're going to tell your boss that you don't feel well, and that you're going home. Then wait down the side of the building for us. My wife is a little peckish" Nik compelled the human, before he pushed him away.

"What about my furniture?" I asked Nik, as we watched the human walk up to his boss. "We still can get it. He'll wait" Nik smirked at me, making me roll my eyes.

While Nik sorted everything out, I decided to sit down. I was so tired. A day out shopping with Nik is torture.

He wanted to look at everything, and if I couldn't decide between something, he'd get them all and tell me that whatever we don't use can be a spare.

Which we need a lot of, in our house. Vampires have tendency to break things. Especially me with the doors.

"Come on, love" I snapped my head up at Nik, who was holding his hand out for me. "All sorted?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Of course. Now, let's get you fed" He smirked, making me laugh. "I'm famished" I mussed making him wink down at me, before pulling me outside, where my little snack was waiting.

As we walked around the side of the building, Nik sped in front of the human, grabbing his face, forcing him to look at him. "Don't make a sound" Nik compelled him, before stepping away from him, waving his hand over to him. "Well, there you go, love"

I rolled my eyes, I could have compelled him myself. I rushed over to the human, letting my fangs pierce his skin, as his blood fell into my mouth.

I pulled away once his heartbeat stopped, letting him fall to the floor. "He was tasty" I smirked at Nik, who was staring at me with lust.

Before I could move what was, I was pushed against the wall, with Nik, nipping and sucking at my neck.

"Hotel. Now" He whispered, before he rushed us both to the hotel we were staying at.

This is going to be another great night.
