As I walked towards the grand staircase I heard two gasps from behind me, making me quickly turn around to see Bekah and Phoebe stood staring at me.

"What? Is it bad?" I asked worried, regretting the fact that I hadn't shown anyone until now. "No. You look beautiful, mum" Phoebe smiled at me, as Bekah nodded agreeing with her. "She's right. I'm sure you'll knock Nik off of his feet"

I smiled at them. "Thank you, the both of you" I looked over them both, smiling widely. They both looked amazing.

"Let's go make our entrance" Bekah smiled at us both, as she stood on my right. I flicked my eyes over to Phoebe, who was on my left, fidgeting with her hands. "We'll meet you down there, Bekah" I told her, as I gave her a look telling her to give me some time with Phoebe.

Once Bekah had disappeared, I looked over at Phoebe, grabbing hold of her hands. "What's wrong?" I asked her worried.

"What if Leon doesn't come? What if Nik and the others threaten him?" She ranted making me smile at her, placing my hands onto her shoulders.

"You silly girl. If Leon doesn't show up, then that's his loss" I shrugged. "And if any of them threaten him, then I'll be having words with them" I smirked at her, before pulling her into a hug.

I pulled away and smiled at her. She looked beautiful. "Now, are we ready?" I asked her raising my eyebrows. She took a deep breath before nodding her head. "We're ready" She smiled.

"That's my girl" I winked at her as she looped her arm through mine, before we walked towards the top of the grand staircase.

As we stood at the top, Phoebes grip on my arm became tighter. "Don't worry sweetheart. You'll be fine. I promise" I whispered before we walked down the stairs.

Heads turned one by one to look at us both, making me smirk. Well we know how to make an entrance.

My eyes connected with Nik's, who stood with the family, with his eyes wide, and his jaw slack, making my smirk grow.

Mission accomplished.

I heard the guests whispering, commenting on both of our dresses, but we both ignored them as we made our way over to Nik and our family.

"Well you both know how to make an entrance, darlings" Kol smirked at us both, but I ignored him and instead looked over at Nik, who was still staring at me.

I couldn't take my eyes off of him. He looked dashing in his white button down top, white waistcoat, white bowtie and a black suit jacket and black trousers.

"Nik?" I questioned making him blink and take a shaky breath. "Wow" He whispered before he pulled me towards him, pressing his lips against mine.

"You like?" I questioned as we pulled away. "I love it. You look amazing love" He smiled down at me, before flicking his eyes over to Phoebe.

"You look like a princess, Phoebe" He smiled at her making her turn her head away shyly. "Thank you" She mumbled.

I smiled at her before I looked at all the guests, noticing Damon and Stefan stood staring at someone with awe in their eyes.

Looking to see who it was, my eyes landed on Elena, who was just walking through the mansion doors, wearing a black and gold 'Cinderella' dress with black gloves.

"Eugh! Who invited dopplebitch?" I asked, as I glared at her, wishing she'd just die already.

"Elijah thought that it would be a good idea" Nik chuckled shaking his head. I snapped my head towards Elijah. "You thought that it would be a good idea to invite the doppleslut?" I asked him, like he was crazy.

"Just play nice" Elijah warned me, earning a laugh from Nik, Kol and Bekah. "There's more chance of her draining the Mississippi dry with a straw, brother" Nik laughed, shaking his head, as he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"He's right" Kol laughed. "If you had told me that you was inviting dopplebitch, I wouldn't have suggest handing the invites out yesterday" I mumbled as I carried on glaring at Elena.

"Don't worry love. You still look better" Nik smirked down at me, making me smirk at him. "Obviously. Unlike Elena I was born pretty" I winked at him, making the others laugh.

"Your ego's as bad as Kol's Lilly" Henrik laughed shaking his head. "It's not my fault that I got all the good looks in the family" I smiled down at him.

"I'm still better looking" Kol argued, making me roll my eyes. "That's not true Kol. Women have boobs, boobs that every man wished they had" I smirked at him, making him roll his eyes.

"Yeah, well men have big dicks that every woman wished they had" Kol retorted making me laugh. "I don't need to wish, when I already have one" I smirked, making him raise his eyebrows. "Are you trying to tell us something darling?"

It was then that I realised what I'd said. "I meant I have Nik's. You idiot" I rolled my eyes, making him laugh.

"Enough. Phoebe looks like she's going to be sick. It's time to welcome the guests" Elijah ordered, but I just looked over at Phoebe, giving her a weak smile. "Sorry" I apologized.

"It's alright. I just don't want to hear stuff like that" She shivered in disgust, making me chuckle. "Noted" I nodded.

"Come" Elijah ordered, making me roll my eyes. "Yes, master" I mumbled, earning chuckles from Nik, Kol, Henrik, Bekah and Phoebe.

Me and Nik followed Elijah, but after a couple of steps later I realized Phoebe wasn't with us.

"Come on, Phoebe. You're family" Nik told her smiling at her. Phoebe smiled at him before she walked over to us as we carried on walking over to the staircase.

Elijah stood at the top ready to make his speech, next was Finn, with me and Nik, on the steps below, then Phoebe and Kol, below us, and then at the bottom was Bekah and Henrik.

Elijah tapped his champagne glass, gaining the guests attention. "Welcome, thank you for joining us. It's been a while since my family's been together as a whole, but when we do we like to commence the evening with a dance. Tonight's pick is a centuries-old waltz. So if you could all please find yourselves a partner, and join us in the ballroom"

Nik held his hand out towards me. "May I have this dance, Mrs Mikaelson?" He smiled at me as I placed my hand into his. "You may, Mr Mikaelson" I smiled at him, as I gave a small curtsey.

"Get a room" Kol mumbled, making me roll my eyes.

As we walked down the stairs, I spotted Damon offering his hand out to Elena, who smiled at him placing her hand in his, giving him a small curtsey.

Walking into the ballroom, I noticed couples – who must know the waltz – all gathered around the room ready to dance, while the rest was stood around to watch.

Bekah was with Matt, Damon with Elena, Kol with some random girl I never seen, Finn and Elijah was stood by watching us with Henrik, and Stefan was with Caroline. Uh? I always knew Caroline had a thing for my little broody brother.

As Nik walked us over to the back I ran my eyes over everyone, looking for Phoebe. She was partnered up with a young man.

As soon as me and Nik was situated in the right place Ed Sheeran - Give me Love played out.

As we danced I couldn't take my eyes off of him. Still to this day he took my breath away. Something he's done from the very day I met him.

His bright blue eyes pierced my brown ones. His eyes told me everything, and the love that was shining through them took my breath away. And his accent still made me weak in the knees.

"You look ravishing, love" Nik smiled at me. "Thank you. You look dashing yourself" I winked at him.

As he span me around I noticed Phoebe and the young man dancing, talking and laughing between themselves.

"What are you smiling at darling?" Nik asked me, before he looked over my shoulder. "If he hurts her, I will kill him" Nik gritted out, earning a tap to the arms from me. "Niklaus Mikaelson. You will do no such thing. They're just friends, let them be" I told him.

He's way too overprotective. He's going to suffocate her. "Mmm" Nik smirked down and me. "Have fun, darling" He winked at me before I was twirled into Kol's arms.

"Well, well. Now look at you" Kol smirked at me, earning a glare. "Please Kol. Give it a rest"

He chuckled at me. "You do know that we're all with Nik. If he hurts her, we'll kill him. We've all agreed"

"I know, but he isn't going to hurt her" I smiled at him, just as I heard Bekah and Nik bickering making me chuckled shaking my head. They can't go two minutes together, without bickering.

"Will you stop standing on my bloody feet, Bekah" Nik gritted out. "Well, if you could dance, we wouldn't be having this problem" Bekah argued.

"If you didn't have two left feet, you wouldn't be standing on my feet, and did you forget that it was me that taught you to dance" Nik reminded her.

"Bugger off, Nik" I shook my head, just as I was span around, landing in my husband's arms. "Can we leave and go and spend some time alone?" I whispered, as we danced.

"As much as I'd love to sweetheart, I think Elijah would kill us" He smirked at me before he span me around while I stayed in his arms.

"Well it's a good job we're immortal then" I chuckled making him wink at me. "That it is, love" He chuckled, before dipping me, pressing his lips against mine, roughly.

As he lifted me back up, I realized that the dance was finished. "I love you" He whispered against my ear, only loud enough for me to hear. "I love you too" I nibbled at his ear, before I walked over to Phoebe.

She was stood by the bar, with who I'm guess is Leon. Once Phoebe spotted me walking towards her, a wide smile appeared on her face. "Mother"

"Hello, sweetie" I smiled at her before looking at the young man. "You must be Leon. It's nice to finally put a face to the name" I smiled at him.

"Like wise, Mrs Mikaelson" He smiled at me, making me roll my eyes. "Please, call me Lilly. Mrs Mikaelson's too formal. And I hope it was all good" I laughed, flicking my eyes over to Phoebe.

"It was" He nodded winking at Phoebe. "Well, it was nice to meet you, Leon. I'll leave you two love birds alone" I chuckled before walking off, after the look my daughter gave me.

I made my way outside for a bit of fresh air, I wanted some blood and with all the humans that was currently in our home it wasn't helping.

I looked around the driveway spotting a horse and carriage. I love horses. I smiled to myself before I walked over to the horse, starting to stroke his nose.

"I see you still love horses" I heard Nik speak from behind me. "What's not to love?" I winked at him, as I stroked the horses head.

Nik grabbed my hand turning me around to look at him, as he rubbed his thumb against my cheek. "I love you" He whispered before pressing his lips against mine.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, as he backed me up against the wall, trailing his lips down my neck.

"W-we should really stop" I gasped. "Yeah" Nik whispered before pressing his lips against mine, making me get lost in him.

All I could think about was him and only him. I forgot about the ball that was going off inside the house. I forgot about everything.

Hearing someone cough behind Nik, brought us back to reality. We snapped our heads towards the person who coughed to see Kol smirking at us both.

"Well isn't this something familiar" He chuckled. "Kol" Nik growled. "Okay. Okay" Kol started holding his hands up. "Finn and Elijah asked me to gather you both for the last speech of the night" He told us before walking off.

"Elijah and his speeches" I grumbled, before we walked back into the mansion joining everyone below the grand staircase.

Phoebe walked over to stand next to me, with Leon next to her, just as a waited came and offered us all a glass of champagne.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Waiters are coming around with Champagne. I invite you all to join me in raising a glass. To Phoebe" Elijah started looking over to Phoebe smiling at her.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder pulling her in for a side hug. "It gives me no greater pleasure than to welcome you into my family. So to Phoebe Mikaelson" He raised his glass smiling down at her.

"To Phoebe Mikaelson" We all cheered raising our champagne before drinking. I flicked my eyes over towards my daughter who had tears falling down her cheeks.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" I asked her confused. "I'm just so happy" She laughed wiping her tears away.

"I'm glad" Nik smiled down at her, before flicking his eyes over to Leon. "You must be, Leon. Hurt my daughter and I'll hurt you" Nik warned him before he walked over to Finn and Elijah, leaving me with the two young love birds.

"He's very protective of Phoebe, so you'll just have to put up with him" I mumbled, looking over at Phoebe who looked surprised.

I have to admit, it surprised me that he right out called her his daughter. But it made me happy that he thought of her as his daughter.

He sure as hell a better father than what George would have been. He didn't even want anything to do with her as soon as I told him.

Coming out of my thought I kissed Phoebes head, before I walked over to Kol and Bekah who was talking quietly between themselves.

"What are we talking about over here?" I asked as I joined them. "I'm hungry" Kol moaned making me laugh.

"What's stopping you?" I asked him. "Elijah's already warned him not to feed off of any of the guests" Bekah chuckled, shaking her head.

"Am I hearing correctly? Kol Mikaelson is following the rules. Wow" I laughed shaking my head.

"I know! What's happening to me?" Kol cried making me laugh. "Just behave tonight. Please. For Phoebe" I warned him, before walking off to go get myself a drink.

As I stood waiting for my drink I ran my eyes over the humans. I could literally hear the blood running through their veins.

It sounded like a running tap. A running tap of blood. Their heartbeats was ringing in my ears, making my thirst double. Snatch, eat, erase.

A drink placed down on the bar brought me back to reality. What.the.hell? I can usually control my thirst around humans but for some reason I couldn't. Not tonight.

All I could think about was the blood. The taste of it.

Deciding that it wasn't a good idea to be staying around them I quickly went to make my way back outside, keeping at a human pace, but before I could leave Nik was in front of me.

"Where are you going love?" He questioned. "Outside" I told him as I stared at a human's neck. Just a little.

"What's wrong with you?" Nik asked concerned. "I don't know. I just need to get away" I mumbled shaking my head.

"Well, come. I have something to show you" He smiled holding his hand out for mine. Looking at him confused I placed my hand in his.

He guided me into his art room, making me confused even more. "What are we doing in here, Nik?" I asked him. I haven't been allowed in here for the past couple of days. Every time I went to see what he was doing he'd always hear me coming and tell me to bugger off.

"I've been working on something for you. Well for the mansion, but it's for you" He smiled at me, as he pulled a sheet off of the canvas he's been working on.

Once my eyes connected with the painting I slapped my hand over my mouth. It was a family portrait of me, Nik, Phoebe, Henrik, Bekah, Kol, Elijah and Finn.

"Do you like it?" Nik asked me, sounding worried.

"Like it? No. Love it? Yes" I nodded smiling at him, before I rushed over to him, pulling him into a hug. "God. I love you" I mumbled against his neck.

"I love you too darling" He mumbled before he pressed his lips against mine.

Before we could go too far, Phoebe knocked on the door. "Mum, Nik. Leon's going now" She called through the door.

Nik sighed but still walked over to the door, opening it wide for them both to walk in. "Wow. Did you do all these?" Leon asked looking around the room.

"They're Nik's" I told him smiling. "So are you staying here in Mystic Falls?" Nik asked him.

"I have to go back to New York, but I'll be back in a couple of days" He smiled, flicking his eyes over to Phoebe, who was smiling widely.

"Good. But a warning, mate. Don't hurt her" Nik warned him. "I wouldn't dream of it" Leon stated strongly.

"Good. That's what I like to hear" Nik smirked at him.

I rolled my eyes but before I could say anything else, we all heard a loud thud coming from outside.

I flicked my eyes over to Nik, who looked confused aswel before we all rushed outside just as Damon snapped Kol's neck and Stefan came running out the door.

"Damon! Are you crazy?!" Stefan snapped just as Elena and the rest of the Mikaelson's came and joined us.

"Maybe a little" Damon stated before looking over at Elena. "Far be it for me to cause a problem" Damon glared at her, before he rushed off.

I rolled my eyes before looking over at Elena. "See. Just like Katerina" I chuckled shaking my head before I walked back into the mansion.

Finn carried Kol up to his room, while Elijah called it a night and sent all the remaining guests home, along with making myself, Nik, Phoebe, Bekah, Henrik and Finn wait in the parlour for him to join us.

"I'm gonna go and leave you to it. I'll call you when I'm back in town, Phoebe" Leon smiled at her, before looking at the rest of us. "It was nice meeting you all" He smiled before leaving.

Once all the guests had gone Elijah came storming into the room, not looking too happy, with Kol behind him, who was rubbing his neck. "Now. Tell me, what part of don't cause any problems do you not understand?!" Elijah glared at Kol.

"I was introducing myself to Matt when Damon decided to push me off of the balcony then snap my neck" Kol grumbled.

I hid my smirk because I know for a fact Kol wasn't just introducing himself. He's not the nicest person.

"Damon just took his anger out on Kol instead of the doppelgänger" I spoke up shaking my head, deciding to help Kol out. He owes me.

Elijah sighed shaking his head. "Just don't let it happen again, Kol" Elijah warned him before walking out.

"Okay, father" Kol mumbled, as Finn stood up shaking his head, following behind Elijah. "I need to go do something" Bekah spoke up as she stood up before leaving the mansion, going god knows where.

"I'm going to get in the shower and into bed I'm tired" Phoebe spoke up standing up herself. "Okay, sweetie. Goodnight, love you" I smiled at her. "Love you too" She smiled back before making her way up to her room.

"Yeah, me too. Night" Henrik mumbled, walking up the stairs himself. "Night" We called back.

"Eugh! Let me guess, you two are leaving aswel" Kol grumbled.

I flicked my eyes over to Nik who was staring at me. I smirked as I kept my eyes on Nik. "Yes" I mumbled before me and Nik rushed up to our room.

As soon as the door was closed, I was instantly pushed up against it by Nik, who started nibbling at my neck.

Oh god.

He went to rip my dress off but I quickly stopped him. "Don't you dare rip this dress" I warned him, receiving a groan of protest.

"Fine" Nik grumbled before he slipped it off of me, letting it drop to the bottom of my feet. He took a step back running his eyes up and down my body. "How did I get so bloody lucky" He mumbled before he grabbed me by the waist picking me up.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist, as he walked us over to the bed.

He smirked down at me before he dropped me down on the bed, making me bound about a bit, making me laugh.
