LILLY

I walked tiredly into the living room where everyone was. Bekah was teaching Finn about the 21st century. Kol was sprawled out on one of the sofas with a bloodbag, complaining about being bored. Elijah was writing out invitations for the ball to be handed out tomorrow. A little short notice if you ask me.

Phoebe was sat messing about on her phone, in her own little world and Nik was sat on one of the couches, drawing.

They was all a bunch of happy people. Note the sarcasm.

"Well aren't you all a happy bunch" I smirked as I walked in with a glass of blood in my hand. "Ah, finally! I'm bored Lilly. I need some entertainment" Kol groaned as he sat up smirking at me.

"Don't look at me. I'm doing nothing all day" I grumbled as I plonked myself down next to Nik with my head resting on his shoulder.

I looked at what he was drawing and noticed it was me asleep, and by the looks of it, it was from this morning.

He never seems to get tired of drawing me, he must have thousands of me from over the years.

"What about you, Phoebe. Do you fancy joining me?" Kol asked her, with his eyebrows raised. "No. I've heard stories of what you do when you're bored, and I don't fancy having the town hunting me down" Phoebe laughed at him shaking her head.

"Smart girl" Nik smile at her. "Well, your mother enjoyed it aswel" Kol retorted making me glare at him.

"She knows all about it Kol. Who do you think told her these stories" I raised my eyebrow. "I should have known" He mumbled shaking his head.

"There's nothing to do in this small town. I need excitement" Kol groaned flopping back down.

I rolled my eyes before I looked over to Elijah. "Don't you think you should send the invitations out today, since the balls tomorrow?"

"She's right, Elijah. People need time to shop" Bekah joined in. "I'll help you hand them out if you want Elijah" Phoebe smiled at him.

"Thank you, Phoebe. That's really kind of you" Elijah smiled at her before looking at the rest of us. "We shall see you later" Elijah smiled at us before he and Phoebe grabbed their jackets and shoes.

Phoebe walked over to me and kissed my cheek. "See you soon mum" She smiled before she followed Elijah out of the house.

As soon as she was gone I felt myself relax even more. For some reason I couldn't be myself in front of her. I felt like I needed to be the perfect mother, but the truth is, it's hard.

I've never been a mother, and now I have to be.

Don't get me wrong I'm over joyed that she's in my life, but it's hard to adjust.

"So, tell us Lilly. How does it feel to have your daughter back" Finn asked, smiling at me. "It's good" I smiled shrugging my shoulders.

"Just good?" Bekah asked confused. "Well, I'm happy that she's alive and in my life" I told her.

"What's wrong love? I thought you'd be jumping about now that she's here" Nik questioned putting his sketch book down looking at me.

I sighed. "I am happy that she's here. I love her, she's my daughter. But I can't be myself around her. I feel as though that she would be disappointed if I was" I shrugged, looking down at my hands.

"Lilly, she's your daughter. She loves you no matter what" Bekah sighed shaking her head. "I know it's just hard. I just need to get used to being a mother now" I smiled at her.

"So you're happy that you have a second chance with her?" Nik asked raising his eyebrow. "Definitely" I nodded smiling wide at him.

"Good" He smiled before going back to his art work. I sighed. "This is fun. I'm going to the Grill. Bekah are you coming?" I asked her raising my eyebrow as I stood up. "Yeah. But don't you think you should get changed first?" I looked at her confused.

I looked down at what I was wearing and noticed what the problem was, I was wearing one of Nik's tops with a pair of leggings.

"Yeah. I won't be long" I chuckled before I rushed upstairs to get changed.

I jumped into the shower before getting changed into a pair of black denim jeans with a navy blue top with a black blazer and navy blue high heel boots.

I curled my hair and applied a bit of makeup on before grabbing my phone and making my way back downstairs.

After saying goodbye to everyone me and Bekah jumped into my car before I drove off to the Grill. "You know your brothers are gonna be here, along with their little group" Bekah laughed as I pulled up outside.

I shrugged my shoulders as I jumped out of my car. "Oh well" I mumbled.

Bekah made her way over to the bar, making a beeline straight for Matt. I guess she's inviting him as her date for the ball tomorrow.

I ignored her little flirting conversation she was having with him, as I grabbed myself a bottle of wine from behind the bar.

Just as I placed the bottle down on the bar I was joined by Damon and Stefan; who stood at either side of me. "What can I do for you both?" I grumbled, since I couldn't be bothered to deal with them right now.

"I see you're not with your husband. Trouble in paradise?" Damon smirked at me, making me roll my eyes. "Sorry to disappoint you both, but me and Nik are perfectly happy"

"So where is he?" Stefan asked, with a smug smirk on his face. Oh, how I'd love to punch that smirk off of his face.

"Just because I'm not with him doesn't mean that we're having trouble. Why don't you both stop worrying about my relationship, and focus on yours" I told them, tiredly.

"What are you guys playing, with this ball?" Damon demanded making me chuckle. "I take it Elijah and Phoebe delivered your invitations"

"Yes. So, why a ball?" Stefan asked, just as Bekah joined me glaring at Damon and Stefan. "When our family is together we always throw a ball" Bekah spoke up making them both snap their heads towards her.

"Barbie Klaus" Damon smirked at her. "Are you ready Lilly?" Bekah asked ignoring them both. I nodded and grabbed my bottle of wine. "We look forward to seeing you both there" I wiggled my fingers at the two of them before I walked out with Bekah.

I drove to the mansion in silence with a lot on my mind. I needed to do a spell but I never had the time because someone was constantly with me.

I sighed and flicked my eyes over to Bekah. "I'll drop you off back at the mansion. I have something I need to do" I told her vaguely.

"Do what?" She asked intrigued. "Just something. If Nik asks, tell him it's a surprise" I told her as I pulled up outside the mansion.

"Okay" Bekah nodded but looked at me weird, but jumped out of the car anyway.

As soon as she was in the house I drove off to one of the closest B&B's. The same on me and Nik stopped in when I got my memories back.

I compelled myself a room and told her that nobody was to disturb me and that nobody was to know I was here.

As soon as I walked in I smiled to myself. It was the same room me and Nik stayed in

I wasn't prepared for this at all. I didn't have my grimoire or my candles, and I couldn't ask any of the Originals to join me because this was for them. Phoebe.

I grabbed my phone and quickly dialled her number. It rang a couple of times until she picked up. "Mum. Where are you?" She asked sounding worried.

"I'm fine darling. I need you to do me a favour. But you can't tell anyone" I told her, calming her down. "What do you need me to do?" She asked confused.

"I need you to go into my room where all my grimoires are and get the one you found, and then I need you to grab me my candles and the black wooden box I have and bring them to me at the B&B just on the outskirts of town" I told her.

"Okay. But what are you doing?" She asked sounding confused. "Just a surprise. Make sure none of the others follow you or find out about this. I'll meet you outside" I told her.

"Okay. I love you mum" I could hear her smile down the phone. "I love you too darling" I smiled before putting the phone down.

I sighed running my fingers through my hair. I knew this spell were going to take a lot out of me, but it was my present to my family.

Coming out of my thoughts my phone beeped as Phoebe messaged me telling me she was on her way, so I made my way outside to wait for her, which didn't take long.

"You wasn't followed were you?" I asked her. "No. I told them you said I could borrow them so I can practice" She smiled proudly at me.

"That's my girl" I winked at her. "Come" I called as I walked back into the B&B.

"So what are you doing?" Phoebe asked as I walked back into the room. "Do you know the story of the Originals?" I asked her as I sat down, patting the seat next to me for her to join.

"No" She shook her head. "Well, before their mother turned them there were six of them, but Henrik, the youngest was killed when he sneaked out to watch the wolf men shift. So Esther decided to turn the rest of her children into vampires so she wouldn't lose anymore" I gave her the short story.

"So they have another brother?" She asked shocked. "Yes. But he died before they became vampires. Nik cherished him, in fact they all did. He was the baby of the family" I nodded.

"So what are you doing?" She asked confused. "I'm gonna bring him back, ready for the ball tomorrow" I smiled at her, as I placed the candles on the floor in a circle with me sat in the middle of them.

"What can I do to help?" Phoebe asked looking at me, and I sighed. "I don't want you doing it Phoebe. It takes a lot of magic and you've only just stopped the noes bleeds. But if you want, you can light the candles while I just read over the spell" I smiled at her.

Phoebe nodded. "Okay, but you do know that I'm a tribrid. I can't die mum. I'm just like you and Nik. I'm truly immortal" She smiled.

I smiled widely at her. "Great. But still. I don't want this to drain you. Please. I'd rather you start off small Phoebe" She nodded.

"Okay" She smiled, before she used her magic to light the candles.

I looked over the spell, making sure I had it all right. Which I did.

"If my phone rings, answer it, but don't tell them what I'm doing, just say I'm busy" I told Phoebe, turning my attention back to her. "Ok"

I smiled at her before taking a deep breath. Time to bring someone back from the dead.

I opened the black wooden box that revealed a picture Nik had drawn of Henrik, holding it in my hands.

I snapped my eyes open to see Henrik Mikaelson laid on the floor with his eyes closed. "I-is that Henrik?" Phoebe asked staring at him.

"Yep" I nodded tiredly, just as he snapped his eyes open with a gasp. He quickly span around looking around the room, until his eyes landed on me and Phoebe. "Lilly Marie and Phoebe Mikaelson" He smiled at us both.

I flicked my eyes over to Phoebe who looked confused. "How do you know us?" Phoebe asked.

"I watched my family from the other side. So I obviously know who you both are" He chuckled, with that damn Mikaelson smirk plastered on his face.

"Erm..." I trailed off not knowing what to say. "Is there any clothes for me to wear?" He asked looking around and that's when I realized that he was naked.

"Erm... I didn't think about that" I mumbled looking away from him. "I'll just wear this until I get something" He told us. "Now you can both look" He laughed.

As I turned around I couldn't help but laugh. He wrapped the bed sheet around him. "I'll stay here with him if you want mum while you get him some clothes and I'll tell him everything" Phoebe smiled at me.

I nodded gratefully at her, just as my phone rang. "It's Nik" Phoebe smiled handing me my phone. "Thank you. I'll be back soon" I told them before answering my phone and making my way out to my car.

"Hello Nik" I smiled down the phone. "Where the hell are you? What are you doing?" He demanded making me roll my eyes.

"Relax. It's a surprise" I laughed. "Have you heard from Phoebe, today?" He asked me. "Yes. I'm with her. We'll be home soon. I love you" I chirped before putting the phone down.

I drove off toward the shopping centre and quickly grabbed Henrik some clothes before I made my way back to my car.

I was halfway back to the B&B when Phoebe called me. "Mum. We have a problem. It seems like he didn't come back a human, but a vampire" Phoebe rushed out. Oh, bugger.

"I forgot about that" I mumbled before snapping out of it. "I'll handle it" I told her, before putting the phone down.

I forgot that he'd be equal to his siblings, but he'd still age until he reaches sixteen.

As I pulled up at the B&B, I quickly snatched a human, biting into her neck, drinking some of her blood, since I still felt weak.

Once I felt myself getting stronger I pulled away, biting down into my wrist and pressing it against her mouth, so she'd heal. "You don't remember anything that's just happened. You're going to go home, and go into bed and go to sleep" I compelled her, before rushing off, to grab a human for Henrik.

As I walked up to the room, I compelled the human, so she didn't make a noise, or freak out. I couldn't be bothered with her whining.

As I walked in Phoebe and Henrik snapped their heads over towards me. "One human coming up" I told him before biting into the girls neck, pushing her over to him.

As he bit down on her neck, I placed the bag of clothes onto the floor.

"There's clean clothes in the bag for you. Has Phoebe got you up to date with everything?" I asked him as the now dead girl laid on the floor.

"Yep, plus I was watching. Remember" He smirked at me, making me roll my eyes. "You have the god damn smirk" I mumbled shaking my head, making him laugh.

"Right then, if you know everything about this century I need to go. Nik's starting to ask questions. I'll pick you up tomorrow to get you a tux for the ball" I smiled at him.

Surprisingly he pulled me into a hug. "Thank you. And I'm sorry for what my father did to you. You didn't deserve it. You're a nice woman, and I'm happy to have you as my sister" He smiled at me before looking over at Phoebe.

"Never doubt the love that your mother and my family have for you. You're Nik's step-daughter and my niece. We all love you" He smiled at her pulling her into a hug.

"I'll see you tomorrow. Bright and early, be ready" I called picking up my grimoire and the candles and the drawing of him, before we both made our way out of the B&B.

"What are we gonna tell Nik?" Phoebe asked as I drove off. "That we've spent the day together practicing our magic" I shrugged, just as she put the radio on.

"Okay" She nodded looking out of the window, and I could tell that she was worried about something.

"Phoebe, darling. What's wrong?" I asked worried. "Do you think Leon will still come?" She asked worried.

"Of course he will darling. You're a beautiful smart young woman, he'll be stupid not to" I told her giving her hand a comforting squeeze just as I pulled up outside the mansion.

"Let's get this over with" I mumbled as I jumped out of the car.

As soon as we walked in Nik was in front of us with his arms over his chest. I sighed. Here we go, overprotective Nik as reared its ugly head. "Where have you both been?" Nik demanded just as the others decided to join us.

"We had a mother and daughter day, Nik" I told him, and it wasn't like I was lying. "Until ten o'clock at night?" Kol smirked raising his eyebrow.

"Yes. We lost track of time. I didn't know we had a curfew" I snapped glaring at him. "You haven't but I like to know where you both are" Nik told me and Phoebe.

"Okay. I'm sorry. But we spent the day together practicing with our magic. That's it" I told him. "Good. Now come on. I want a shower" Nik smirked at me.

"Eugh! I didn't need to hear that" Phoebe grumbled before making her way into the kitchen, I chuckled just as Nik grabbed me and rushed me up to our room, stripping me of my clothes.
