LILLY

I groaned as I heard someone shouting from downstairs, waking me up. "Don't Kol. Please" I heard Phoebe beg. "Don't you want your mother to know that you have a boyfriend?" Kol teased her.

I sighed. "They've been at it all morning, love" Nik chuckled. "I guess that means it's time to get up" I mumbled as I curled up against him.

"Come on. We'll share a shower" Nik whispered as he ran his hand up my side. "Carry me, please. I'm too tired to walk" I grumbled.

I didn't sleep much last night, as I couldn't get over that Nik wanted Phoebe to have his family name.

I came out of my thoughts when I felt water dripping down my naked body. "You're away with the fairies love" Nik chuckled, making me look at him.

"Sorry. I'm just really tired" I yawned before putting my head under the water to wake myself up. Nik grabbed the soap before he started scrubbing it onto my skin.

I've missed sharing a shower with my husband, it's nice and relaxing when he washes me, especially when he washes my hair.

Once we were both washed we made our way into the closet to get changed. Since it was a nice day today I decided to wear a black romper, pairing it with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin high heels.

I put a bit of makeup on and curled my hair before grabbing my phone and making my way downstairs where Kol and Phoebe was still arguing.

"I'd love to meet him" Kol smirked at her as I walked into the living room. "Love to meet who?" I asked making them both snap their heads towards me.

"Just a friend of mine" Phoebe smiled at me, and Kol had a smirk on his face. "Oh. I'd say you're more than friends" Kol chuckled.

"Excuse me?" Nik asked walking into the room with two glasses of blood. He didn't look too happy with the new information. Oh here we go.

If she wants a boyfriend or whatever he is, she can.

"He's just a friend" Phoebe told him. "Very well. I'd like to meet this friend of yours" Nik told her, as he passed me one of the glasses. "So would I. You should invite him to the ball we're throwing on Friday" Elijah spoke joining us.

"Oh leave the poor girl alone. Even if he is her boyfriend it has nothing to do with any of you" Bekah defended Phoebe. Girl power!

The boys ignored her, and looked over at me, thinking I would side with them. "If she wants a boyfriend then she can. And if he does come to this ball, then you will leave him alone" I told them, making Phoebe and Bekah look over at me smiling, but the boys crossed their arms over their chests, raising their eyebrows.

Even Finn was siding with them.

"We only want a little chat with him, love. No need to worry" Nik smirked at me and I knew what that smirk meant. He was gonna have more than a friendly chat with Phoebe's friend.

"Why are we having a ball anyway?" Phoebe asked trying to change the subject, and honestly I was thinking the same thing.

"Well we have something to ask you and if you say yes, it will be a celebration" Elijah explained nodding over to Nik.

"I spoke to my siblings and your mother last night, and I think that it's only fitting that you carry the Mikaelson name. If you want" Nik explained to her.

I looked over to her noticing the tears in her eyes, making me walk over to her. "Phoebe. What's wrong?" I whispered wiping the tears away that fell down her cheeks.

"You want me to be a Mikaelson?" She whispered staring at me. "Yes. We all do, but if you don't want to th-" I was cut off by her throwing her arms around me, hugging me.

"I've never had a family before" She whispered as I felt tears drop onto my shoulder, and that one sentence broke my heart. I should have gone for her. Or at least done something!

"Well now you do" Nik smiled at her as he and the rest of his siblings walked over to join the hug.

As we all pulled away Nik looked down at her, with a smirk on his face. "Now you have to invite your friend. You have to introduce him to your family"

Phoebe rolled her eyes. "Fine" She mumbled, but I could see her lips twitching as she walked out of the room.

I sighed and looked at Nik, Elijah, Kol and Finn. "Don't go too hard on her" I told them before making my way into the kitchen to get myself a bloodbag, since my glass was empty.

Bekah walked in with her eyebrow raised. "What's wrong with you? I thought you'd be in a good mood since you have Phoebe back and Katerina's dead"

I sighed. "I'm bored" I grumbled, just a Kol walked in with a smirk on his face. "Did I hear correctly? Are you bored, darling?"

I rolled my eyes. "Yes. But I am not going on any killing spree" I warned him as I stared him down.

"You can come with me. I need to get myself a dress since the ball is in two days" Bekah smiled at me.

"Sure. Go get Phoebe while I go talk to Nik. She needs a dress herself" I smiled, before walking out of the kitchen towards Niks' art room, where I knew he would be.

As I walked in I noticed him painting something but as soon as I walked in he put a sheet over it so I couldn't see it.

"I heard you girls are going shopping" Nik smiled as he turned to look at me. "Yeah. I need to get a new dress for the ball and Phoebe needs one, I'm sure" I smiled at him.

He pulled me towards him resting his chin on the top of my head. "So does that mean I can't surprise you with a dress this time?" He mumbled.

I rolled my eyes. "No. It's my turn to surprise you" I chuckled. "Fine. Go and have fun" He pressed his lips against mine before he pulled away and let me go.

"See you soon" I waved before making my way downstairs where Bekah and Phoebe was waiting for me.

"Come on then girls" I smiled as I walked out of the mansion, towards Bekah's car since mine was only a two seater.

I might get myself a new car while I'm out. A bigger one because I hate it when others drive. I'm not a good passenger. I prefer to be driving.

"When we've finished I want to go and get a new car" I mumbled as I looked out of the passenger window.

"Haven't you just got a new car?" Bekah asked confused. "Yeah. But's it's a two seater and I hate having other people drive" I told her, making Bekah laugh. "I guess that's one thing that will never change with you"

I smirked at her, before turning to look at Phoebe, who was sat in the back seat. "What's your friend's name?" I asked raising my eyebrow. "Leon" She smiled widely, making me think that maybe he is more than a friend.

"So, is he just your friend?" I asked her, intrigued. I wasn't bothered if he was, as long as he treated her like the princess she is. I'm not bothered.

"No" Phoebe whispered, shaking her head, with her eyes full of disappointment. "But you want to be" Bekah spoke up, looking through the rear view mirror. "No" She denied quickly, making me smirk at her. Oh she totally does.

"As long as he treats you as the princess you are, then I approve" I told her before turning back in my seat.

"Thanks, but he doesn't see me like that. He's just my friend" Phoebe told me, making me roll my eyes. "Is he coming to the ball?" I asked her. "Yes"

"See, he obviously likes you. He's dropping everything to come to this small town to see you" Bekah told her, making me nod in agreement.

Phoebe sighed and shook her head. "He doesn't. He's had plenty of girlfriends since I've met him" My poor girl.

"We'll see what happens on Friday. Now let's go get ourselves a new dress" Bekah smiled as she parked the car.

"Let's get this over with" I grumbled. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed shopping, but Bekah goes into every shop we go past just to see what they had.

I trailed behind the both of them, in my own little world.

"Come on mum" Phoebe called with a big smile on her face, making a smile appear on my own face. I'll never get tired of hearing her call me her mother, or mum.

"I'm coming" I called as I caught up to them. "Now let's spend" Bekah smiled before we walked into the first shop.

---

We ended up buying a lot of new things each, and I got Phoebe everything she had her eyes on, I wanted to spoil her.

"Next stop our dresses" Bekah smiled before she dragged us both towards a shop that I didn't even have time to find out what it was called.

As soon as we walked in I found the perfect dress for Phoebe. It just screamed her. It graduated from black to dark blue with one shoulder. It wasn't too revealing either, which I was happy about. I didn't want my teenage daughter showing anything to the weirdos in this small town.

"Phoebe" I called making her walk over to me. "Try this on" I told her, pushing her into the changing room, not giving her a chance to say anything.

I stood outside waiting impatiently for her, but when she stepped out of the changing room my jaw dropped. It fit her perfectly and she looked beautiful

"You look beautiful sweetie" I gave her a wide smile. "I love it" She smiled as she twirled in it, making my smile grow.

"Wow" Bekah whispered as she stopped in her tracks looking at Phoebe. "What? Is it bad?" Phoebe asked sounding worried.

"NO!" Bekah shouted shaking her head. "You look beautiful" Bekah smiled. "Now help me and your mother find a dress" Bekah ordered before walking off.

I rolled my eyes before looking back at Phoebe. "Do you want this one?" I asked her raising my eyebrow. "Yeah" She nodded smiling. "Good. Now get changed and bring it out with you"

Phoebe carried her dress as we looked for me and Bekah a dress, but we eventually went off looking on our own since we would get it done quicker.

It didn't take me long until I found the perfect dress for myself and I was happy that neither of the girls was with me, because I didn't want them to see me in it yet, plus I knew if Nik wanted to he could find out what it looked like from either of them.

Bekah with a dagger and Phoebe with threatening Leon.

I picked it up off of the rail before making my way into the changing room. I quickly got undressed before stepping into the dress.

It looked amazing and sexy. It was black and red with long sleeved and trailed onto the floor a little bit.

I loved it, and I knew Nik would aswel.

I quickly got changed before making my way over to pay for it, compelling the woman to hold it for me until Friday morning when I would come and pick it up.

I didn't need Nik coming into the shop and compelling himself a view of my dress. He's done it before so it wouldn't surprise me if he did it again.

He hates surprises.

"Have you got yours?" Phoebe asked as I joined her and Bekah who was still looking for her dress. "Yeah. But I'm not telling you because you'll both fess up to Nik if he asks" I smirked, before looking through the dresses.

"What do you both think?" Bekah asked as she held up a silk diesel blue dress. "I like it" I nodded smiling at her, just as she walked into the dressing room.

Phoebe looked over to me shyly. "Do you think Nik or the others will scare Leon off?" She asked sounding worried.

I sighed placing my hand on her knee. "Sweetie, Nik see's you as his own daughter, so he's gonna be protective of you. The whole family will be. Before they even met you they classed you as family. The lads are very protective of us girls" I smiled at her.

"But I like him and I don't want him to be scared off because of the others" She mumbled.

"I'll be keeping my eye on them the whole night. I promise you love. And if they even think about trying anything I will personally snap their necks" I smiled at her.

"Thanks mum" She smiled giving me a quick hug. "Your welcome sweetie" I smiled just as Bekah stepped out of the changing room.

"Wow. You look amazing" I smiled at her, as Phoebe nodded agreeing with me. "Are you sure?" Bekah asked raising her eyebrows. "Yep" both me and Phoebe nodded.

"Good" Bekah smiled before going back to get changed.

I grabbed Phoebes dress off of her before I went to pay for it. I could have compelled her it for free but the whole point of spoiling her is to buy it for her.

"Mum, I could of got it myself" Phoebe told me, but I rolled my eyes. "But I'm your mother. And as your mother, I get to spoil you" I smiled at her.

Once it was paid for and Bekah compelled hers we made our way out. "Is that it? Do either of you need shoes for the dress?" I asked, but they both shook their heads.

"Great. Now let's go get me a new car" I smiled as we walked out to Bekah's car.

I had her drive to the closest car dealer ship so I could get a new car, which happened to be a white Landrover it was the best one they had.

As we pulled up outside I noticed a lot of work going off in the house, which confused me. I thought that everything was done.

I walked in with my bags in my hand and the other two behind me. "What's going on?" I asked confused.

"Kol decided to mess about and broke the stair railing and dinted the floor" Elijah rolled his eyes.

I sighed shaking my head. "Did you girls get everything?" Nik asked looking over at me raising his eyebrow.

"Yep" I nodded, smirking. "So where's your dresses?" Kol asked looking at the bags in our hands. Bekah and Phoebe held there's up but I just smirked.

"Where's yours Lilly?" Finn asked confused. "Nik would do anything to find out what my dress looked like so I took extra precautions so he wouldn't find out this time. Bekah and Phoebe don't even know what it looks like" I chuckled as I noticed Nik's face.

He didn't look too happy. "I should have known" Nik rolled his eyes. "You'll love it" I smirked at him before I made my way up to our room to put all my new stuff away.

I couldn't wait for the ball now. I just hope nobody causes any drama.
