Looking around the room I let out a sigh of content, I was the happiest I've ever been, I had my husband back, my memories and my magic, I just wish I never forgot about it all in the first place, if I wouldn't have forgotten I would've been happy I would've never lost Nik, and I would've had my magic back by now.

**Flashback**

I was walking down a street with Nik on our way to go for a midnight snack when I noticed a woman sat with a grimoire, I would've thought she was one of those fake witches but she had an aura to her that only witches posses.

Looking closer at the grimoire I recognised it straight away, it was one of mine. "What's wrong love?" Nik asked as I stopped in my tracks staring at the witch, ignoring him I walked over to the witch who had her nose stuck in my grimoire.

"Excuse me, I'm curious, where did you find that grimoire?" I asked trying to hide my anger, she snapped her head up towards me. "It was my grandmothers, she left it for me" She told me sounding confused. "And what might your grandmothers name be?" I asked raising my eyebrows as Nik slowly walked over to us.

"Gabriel, Gabriel Montgomery" She smiled at me making me glare. "I take it your grandmother is no longer with us" I stated getting a shake of the head from her. "She passed away not too long ago" She mumbled sadly. "Well that's a shame, I have some unfinished business with your grandmother" I told her making her look at me confused and with a little fear. "I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Lilly Marie Mikaelson" I stated making her jaw drop knowing I'm basically royalty around here. "But I was born a Salvatore" I added hoping she would catch on that that was my grimoire, but if anything she just looked confused.

I sighed shrugging my shoulders. "Never mind, it looks like you will have to pay for your grandmothers doings" I spoke sweetly before looking around to make sure there was no humans around to witness what I was about to do, satisfied that nobody was around I let my face vamp biting into her neck.

I removed my mouth wiping the corner of my mouth while she cries, I gripped her chin as I let my face go back to normal. "The grimoire doesn't belong to you love, it never did" I whispered before snapping her neck.

I grabbed my grimoire out of her dead hands flicking through the pages. "What's so special about this one grimoire love?" Nik asked as he walked over to me. "It's one of mine" I told him as I flicked through the pages remembering all the spell I had done, but when I came to the last page my eyebrows furrowed as I spotted Emily Bennetts writing on the back page.

Reading over what she had wrote I didn't stop the smile that broke its way onto my face. "Emily Bennett, you are amazing" I mumbled shaking my head, it's only her who would do something like this.

"You can get it back" Nik stated as he read over my shoulder. "Yep, and I only need the Salvatore stone" I smiled up at him.

**End of Flashback**

I shook my head getting rid of my thoughts so I could concentrate on the spell, I grabbed several candles out of the box before placing them in a circle on the floor making sure it was wide enough for me to sit in the middle.

As I was about to sit down to start the spell Nik walked in making me look over at him. "What's up?" I asked noticing that he was looking down at the candles before looking back up at me. "I've had something that belongs to you... I could never get rid of them, and now I think you should have them back" He gave me a wink as he grabbed my left hand sliding my wedding and engagement ring onto my ring finger.

"You still have them? How did you get them?" I asked in a whisper not taking my eyes off the rings until he started talking. "Mikael sent them to me to rub it in that I couldn't save you" He mumbled before giving me a soft smile. "I wasn't going to get rid of them, I've never taken mine off" He spoke as he lifted his left hand showing me the ring I slid onto his finger the day we got married.

I couldn't believe that after 91 years he still kept them, never getting over me, hoping that one day I would return, and I did. I jumped up on him wrapping myself around him pressing my lips against his. "I love you" I smiled at him which he returned. "I loved you too" He whispered kissing my forehead before placing my feet down on the floor.

"What the hell are you doing? Don't witches usually use a map for a locating spell?" Nik asked looking back down at the candles. "Well, I'm not just any witch, Nik... plus this is my own spell, I'm the only witch who knows it, I can find them and talk to them only if I know them" He chuckled at me as I smiled widely up at him. "Now off you go, I'm gonna have a talk with my sister" I shooed him away before walking into the middle of the candles sitting down. "Fuoco"

"Why Bekah?" Nik asked looking down at me. "No way am I going into Kols' mind I'd be scarred for life, Elijah would just bore me to death, and I don't even know Finn so that leaves Bekah because I'm going nowhere near the 5th one" I smirked at him. "Well have fun" He chuckled before walking out.

I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair preparing myself for the spell, I took a deep breath before remembering all the memories I had with Bekah. "Lilly?" I snapped my eyes open to see that I was now in the basement back at the boarding house, Bekah's actual body was laid on the floor with a dagger in her heart.

"So you're actually alive, sort of... now where are the others?" I asked looking around. "How are you here Lilly? Elena daggered me" She whispered before her eyes widened. "You have your magic back, which means you're back with Nik... you rememeber" She laughed before crushing me into a hug.

"Took you a while there Bek's" I laughed before growing serious. "What happened Beks? Why did you like about Mikael been dead?" I asked wanting to know what had happened for her to turn on her brother.

"He's lied to me for over a thousand years, he told me Mikael killed mother, but he did" Making my eyes widend as I swallowed the lump in my throat. How the hell did she know? I was the only one Nik told.

"What happened? Why did the dopplebitch dagger you?" I asked confused trying to get off the subject of Nik killing his mother. "I was getting ready for the homecoming when Elena stabbed me in the back, literally... they were planning to kill Nik using the white oak stake Mikael had, and because Nik had lied to me I agreed to help, I guess they didn't trust me" She shrugged making me sigh.

"Think about this Bekah, Nik was brought up with a father who beat him when he did something he didn't approve of or was disappointed of him, your mother didn't help much she just allowed it. Nik watched his little brother get killed by a werewolf then had to carry his dead body home; knowing that Miakel would blame it on him getting another punishment. Then you all got turned into vampires only to find out that the man that had been abusing him his whole life wasn't his biological father, to top that off he was born from a werewolf bloodline, a bloodline that killed your little brother. Then your mother took away something that was his only connection to his biological father... what would you do in his shoes Bekah? Esther did nothing to help him Bekah, it was all her mess and Nik was to the one to pay the consequences of her affair" I explained making her stare at me with her jaw hanging.

"I never thought of it like that" She whispered making me let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Now answer me honestly, if I come to get you are you going to plan revenge on Nik?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Honestly? Before you came I was planning to revenger her, but now you've just explained it, I understand, but he shouldn't have lied to me for a thousand years... but no, I wont plan on any revenge on Nik" I smiled at her nodding my head.

"Good, now make yourself look pretty, I'm coming for you" I winked at her before pulling myself out of the spell.

Snapping my eyes open I noticed Nik laid on the bed with his back against the headboard and a sketch book in his hand along with a pencil. "Welcome back to the world of living love" Nik chuckled making me roll my eyes as I stepped over the now un-lit candles.

"Hmm, I have good news and bad news, which do you want first?" I asked as I walked over to him. "The good news" He sighed as he swung his legs off the bed as I stood between them. "I found Bekah" I told him making him nod. "And where is my little sister?" He asked looking up at me rubbing his thumbs against my hips. "The basement of the boarding house" I told him as I pressed my lips against his before stepping back to put the candles away.

"And what's the bad news?" He asked as he went back to his sketch book. "The others wasn't with her, and she knows about your mother" I told him as I put the box away before walking to sit down on the bed just as his phone beeped signalling he had a text message.

"The doppelgänger wants me to go to the boarding house, she wants to make a deal to spare her brother" Nik read making me raise my eyebrows. "What did you do to little Gilbert?" I asked confused as I stood up to grab my Jacket and shoes.

"I got Tyler to take his vervain bracelet off him and compel him for me, so when I phoned Jeremy he went and stood in the middle of the road ready for Tony to run him over, but the vampire hunter got his instead, no big deal" Nik shrugged as he put his boots on along with his leather jacket.

"Right" I nodded before looking at him. "Did you hear what I said earlier about Bekah?" I asked as he walked over to me rubbing his thumb against my cheek. "Yes, I guess our sister won't be joining us yet" He spoke sadly making me grab his hand as he went to pull it away.

"I spoke to her, explained it a little to her and she understood and I made sure she doesn't plan on any revenge" I explained but he pulled his hand free rubbing it against his face. "Let's go" I shook my head as I grabbed his face making him look at me.

"Don't shut me out Nik, everything's going to be alright, I promise... I love you" I whispered before pressing my lips against his. "I love you too, now lets get this over with" He sighed walking out of the bedroom with me right behind him, I knew he had a lot going on right now and I understood that but he needed to know that I was with him the whole way.

I knew he was mostly worried about Bekah's reaction when she woke up, she's his little sister and he loves her no matter how much he tries to hide it, he loves all of his siblings, anyone can see it. He once told me that me and Bekah was the only 2 women he would ever need in his life.

I know Bekah tries to convince herself that she hates Nik but I know deep down that she doesn't, she just hates the choices he makes sometimes, but when Nik has his mind set on something, nobody can stop him, not even me even if I wanted to.

I wouldn't want to change anything about Nik, I fell in love with the man the way he is, everyone has flaws.

As we sat in the car on the way to the boarding house Nik's hands was clenching onto the steering wheel, while I was left to my thoughts about my idiotic brother, I couldn't believe that he's stole Nik's brothers out of revenge, the original family at that, did he not know anything?

He got himself into this mess when he stayed in town because of Elena, always Elena, just like it was always Katherine.

I wasn't bothered anymore though, I'm used to it, they can do as they like as far as I care, they might be my brothers by blood but that's it. "You okay love?" Nik asked as he grabbed my hand pressing his lips against it. "Yeah just thinking about my idiotic brothers" I sighed looking out the passenger window.

Nik sighed squeezing my hand. "I know they're your brothers Lil' witch, but Stefans gone too far by pinching my family, I can't just let that go" I nodded my head looking over at him. "I know you can't, just let me deal with them. I promise I'll get our family back, but they're still my brothers, no matter how much I wish they wasn't"

Nik flicked his eyes towards me before looking back at the road. "How many times do they have to screw you over until you finally realize that you've been an idiot for forgiving them all the time?" He asked making me sigh this time. "Can we please not have the discussion Nik? I've just got you back in my life and I don't want to be arguing with you over them, and I haven't forgiven them, I've never forgiven them and I never will"

My brothers hate me they always have, and now that I have my magic back they'll no doubt hate me even more, call me a disgrace again, nothing I'm not used to.

"I don't want to argue with you Lilly, I hate seeing you like this. We might've been apart for 91 years but I still know what you're thinking just by looking at you" I looked over at him giving him a weak smile. "You're right they've gone too far now, Stefan took my true family, the family that no matter what loved me, loved me through all my faults and rampages, they were always there for me. I haven't heard anything from Damon since your witch brought me to you and they're both far more interested in little miss Gilbert"

"You're rambling love" Nik spoke grabbing my face between his hands looking into my eyes, when did he pull over? "I just want you to think about yourself, not your brother, you, what do you want?" I didn't even need to think of the answer. "To be with you and to get our family back"

"I didn't hear you mention Damon and Stefan, love" He whispered rubbing his thumb against my cheek, he was right though, I didn't see my brothers in my life anymore. I've done everything I could bring our family back but everything gets thrown back in my face.

Yeah, I made their lives hell but honestly they deserved it, they stood there and watched as our parents ruined my life, but when I came back to town I ended up helping them even though I came to town to mess everything up for them, and in return I get this. "do what you need to do Nik, just please don't do it in front of me"

Nik gave me a quick kiss before he started to drive again. "I won't love, now lets go get my sister" A couple of minutes later we were pulling up outside the boarding house. "You ready for this?" Nik asked giving my hand a squeeze. "Lets just get this over with" I mumbles as I climbed out of the car.

As we reached the door Nik was about to knock making me chuckle before I opened the door and stepped over the threshold. "It's still my house" I chuckled as I walked in only to stop in my tracks when I spotted little miss doppelgänger sat in the room on her own.

"You comfy in my house?" I spoke making her snap her head towards me. "I came so I can offer Klaus a deal" She spoke strongly as she stood up. "Where's Damon and Stefan?" I asked her intrigued.

"Damon's out and nobody knows where Stefan is" She mumbled making me smirk raising my eyebrows at her nerviness which only spiked as Nik spoke. "Which gets us to why you asked me to come here. What do you want?" He asked glaring at her knowing his sister was in this house and that the doppelgänger was the one who had her put down there.

Instead of answering him she walked past us and down to the basement making me let a small smile appear on my face knowing who she was taking us to, she led us into the cell room where a Bekah was laid with a dagger in her heart.

"My poor sister, I can't turn my back on her for one second" Nik spoke sarcastically, but I knew that he was holding himself back from killing Elena for what she had done, if she wasn't the doppelgänger she would be dead by now. "You have Rebekah, a deal is a deal" She stated as she crossed her arms over her chest trying to act strong, but myself and Nik could smell the fear coming off of her.

"The life of my sister in exchange for your brother? Yeah I'd say that's a bargain, consider him spared" Nik nodded looking down at his sister, only to look back up at Elena when she told him that she was the one that daggered Bekah and that when she wakes up she'll go after her.

"You literally stabbed her in the back Elena, telling her something that wasn't your secret to tell her, you interfered with something that has nothing to do with you just so you could get what you want, but that hasn't happened has it" I smirked at her before taking a step towards her turning my smile into a glare. "A little warning Miss Gilbert, don't ever think for one second that you're winning because you're not. We will forever be two steps ahead of you. Now I suggest you find Stefan and tell him I want Nik's coffins back or I will kill every single human in this town, starting with Matt, then ill go onto the supernaturals in this town, the ones who is close to you"

"I told you I don't know where he is" She told me as Nik pulled the dagger slowly out of Bekahs back flicking his eyes over at me with worry in them, I knew he was worried now that he knew his sister knew the truth about their mothers death, but I knew she wouldn't be a bother so I gave him a re-assuring smile.

"You're lying, but fortunately you have no shortage of loved ones, if I don't find my family the question you should be asking yourself is who's gonna die next?! Bonnie? Caroline? Damon? It's only a matter of time before Stefan gives me what I want" Nik smirked at her as he stood up placing the dagger in his jacket pocket.

"Stefan doesn't care about me anymore, you made sure of that, you turned him into a monster, so now he's your problem" She spoke looking at Nik before turning towards me. "And Damon told me about you both being all loved up, what about your brothers Lilly?"

I chuckled shaking my head. "All loved up? Darling we're married, but whatever tomato tomahto, and as for my brothers they haven't been my brothers for 164 years" I smirked at her as her eyes widened. "You married him? When?" I smirked at her. "See you later dopplelicious" I called waving my fingers at her before myself and Nik who had Bekah over his shoulder left.
