Lilly
Mystic Falls.
I can't say I'm happy to be back here but I have no choice in the matter, Klaus is dragging me everywhere he goes, like now when he dragged me to the high school where the Scooby gang are for 'Senior prank night'. I just wanted to find Phoebe and get the hell on with my life.
"Are you going to tell me what we're doing here Klaus?" I asked as he grabbed my hand pulling me around the corridors of the school. "Well your brother seems to be hiding something, so I thought I should check it out for myself and you're not leaving my sight" He spoke still pulling me behind him.
"Well nothings different there. All summer you've kept me by your side and now I want to know why! I want answers Klaus" I snapped at him, but before he could say anything the door we were about to go through opened revealing Elena?
"Elena?" I asked confused, I thought Klaus killed her but looking at his face I realised he thought she was dead as well. "Lilly, Klaus" She gasped staring at us both in fear. "There you are" He smirked at her, she tried to make a run for it but Klaus sped in front of her stopping her before she even had the chance.
She seriously thought that she could out run a vampire?
"Not so fast, you're supposed to be dead! What are we going to do about that?" He grabbed her by her wrist and me by my hand before walking to god knows where.
"You put up a rather large kink in my plan sweetheart, the whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids. I haven't been able to do that, now my bet is that it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing" Klaus snapped as he stormed down the corridor.
"If you're going to kill me just do it" Elena cried making me roll my eyes, great I was back with the baby human. "Not until I know I'm right, but I do have ways of making you suffer" Klaus smirked at her.
"How are you alive?" I asked confused as we walked through another door, where the hell are we going? "John gave up his life to save me" Elena mumbled making me groan. "Remind me never to give a Bennett witch one of my spells ever again" I mumbled quietly so only Klaus could hear.
"Attention seniors. You have officially been busted, prank night is over, head on home" Klaus called in his stupid American accent as we walked into the gym that had plastic cups all over the floor.
Seriously, plastic cups? Couldn't they come up with anything better? Not a brilliant prank I must say. Klaus compelled 2 humans, one who I had no idea who he was but the other was the girl who got up on the stage at the 60's dance, I think her name's Dana or something like that. He had Dana stand on one leg and if she fell or lost her balance he compelled the other one to beat her to death. "Klaus! You don't have to hurt anybody" Elena told him giving me her pleading eyes. "Oh, come on love, of course I do" Klaus smirked at her. "Plus it just makes the night more entertaining" I spoke trying to walk away but Klaus's grip on my hand tightened.
"Can I go sit down?" I asked looking up at him, even though I was turned at the age of 23 I was short and I hated it. Thankfully he let me go, I didn't wanna be standing next to him the whole time we were in this school I wanted to sit down so I could watch the entertainment with a front row seat.
Instead of watching what was going off I thought about the letter, what am I supposed to do? Go and look for her? She left no way for me to get in touch with her, I have no way of finding her.
"Bonnie, get out of here!" Elena shouted bringing me out of my thoughts, I snapped my head up to see Klaus speed over to the Bennett witch and Matt. "I was wondering when you'd get here, now we can get started" He smirked at her before looking over at the 2 compelled humans. "Dana, why don't you relax? You and Chad sit tight" Klaus told them before looking back at Bonnie. "I assume you're the reason why Elena's still alive, after all only one witch knew that spell before telling one more"
"That's right, if you wanna blame someone blame me" Bonnie nodding staring at him with confidence, she actually thought she could take him? She's a witch, he's the original hybrid, I think we all know how that would end.
"Oh, there's no need for blame love, just your witchy interference seems to have caused some undesirable side effects that's all, and since you caused the problem I'm gonna have you fix it" Klaus smirked at her just as Rebekah came walking in dragging Tyler behind her.
I quickly stood up walking over to them knowing shit was about to get interesting. "I'd like you all to meet my sister Rebekah, a word of warning she can be quite mean" Klaus introduced her, only for me to slap him around the back of his head.
Once I realised what I did I stood staring at my hand in shock, Elena and her friends were staring at me, Rebekah laughed and Klaus glared at me with his lips twitching. "Okay... keep talking" I mumbled wanting to get rid of the awkward silence. "Don't be mean Nik" Rebekah mumbled pushing Tyler over to him.
"Leave him alone" Elena told him but of course Klaus wasn't going to listen.
"I'm gonna make this very simple" Klaus started as he stood in the middle with Tyler in his grasp. "Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a vampire hybrid they die during the transaction, it's quite horrible actually" He explained before biting into his wrist forcing Tyler to drink his blood. "I need you to find a way to save my hybrids Bonnie, and for Tyler's sake" He spoke putting Tyler in a headlock getting ready to snap his neck. "You'd better hurry" He told them before snapping the wolves neck.
I chuckled before walking back over to the bleachers sitting down, Rebekah following behind me. "Why are you being so quiet?" She asked looking over at me. "Thinking" I shrugged keeping my eyes on Elena and her group who were crying over Tyler's dead body. "About?" She asked making me grit my teeth. "Nothing that concerns you" I snapped glaring at her just as Klaus joined us.
"What are we talking about over here?" He asked as he sat on the other side of me, could this get any worse? "Come on it's just us girls" He chuckled making me laugh. I laughed that hard I fell down the bleachers.
As I hit the floor I quickly stood up noticing everyone was staring at me, Klaus and Rebekah with amusement, Elena and her group with surprise. "Tell anyone and I will kill you all" I warned them making them go back to worrying about the wolf.
"You know instead of sat there watching him you could be out there trying to save his life" I spoke walking over to them, I should at least help them out a little. "How do you know he can be saved?" Bonnie asked confused.
"I know a lot more that you think Bonnie. Most of the spells in your grimoires are mine that I shared with Emily" I explained making her look at me in shock. "You're the Salvatore witch" She whispered in realisation making me roll my eyes, I thought she would've figured it out earlier just from my name. "I was" I corrected her before carrying on. "I'll give you something to help you save your friend, contact the original witch"
Bonnie stared at me no doubt trying to figure out whether I was being honest or not, but Klaus spoke up giving her no choice but to believe me. "Well go on, go get your grimoires and enchantments and what not, I'll hold on to Elena for safe keeping" He smirked as he gripped the doppelgänger by the wrist so she couldn't leave.
Elena and Matt ended up leaving after Elena gave them a little nod telling them that she'll be fine. "So this is the latest doppelgänger? The original one was much prettier" Rebekah taunted as she circled the wench. "I'm sure they all look the same" I mumbled rolling my eyes.
"Enough Rebekah, take the wolf boy elsewhere would you" Klaus ordered, she walked over to Tyler and grabbing him by his leg and dragging him along the floor. "Just ignore her, petty little thing" Klaus mumbled to Elena before walking over to the bleachers.
"Why aren't you stopping him Lilly?" Elena questioned making me look over at her. "I've helped, I told Bonnie what she needs to do, whether she listens to me or not is down to her" I shrugged before flicking my eyes over to the 2 humans. "Don't Lilly" She begged knowing what I was about to do. "Stop your whining Elena, it gets tiring" I told her before I sped over to Dana biting into her wrist.
When I was done I removed my mouth letting go of her wrist. "See, no harm done" I smirked at her just as Stefan slammed his way through the doors. "Stefan" Elena whispered staring at him but he ignored her and looked over at the hybrid. "Klaus"
"Come to save your damsel mate?" Klaus asked from the bleachers with a smirk on his face and right at that moment I wanted nothing more than to jump on him and shred him of his clothes.
"I came to ask for your forgiveness and pledge my loyalty" Stefan spoke as he walked further into the school's gym. "Well you broke that pledge once already" Klaus reminded him as he sat on the bleachers his head resting on his hands.
"Elena means nothing to me anymore" Stefan spoke looking over at Elena who looked heartbroken hearing the words leave his lips. "Whatever you ask of me, I will do" Stefan spoke looking back at Klaus.
I rolled my eyes letting out a small chuckle, the guy was totally trying to kiss arse. "Fair enough, let's drink on it" Klaus spoke standing up off the bleachers walking over to stand near Elena and the 2 other humans. "Kill them" He spoke holding his hand out towards the 2 humans who stood up. "What are you waiting for? Kill them"
"No, Stefan don't! He's not going to hurt me, he already said-" Elena started but Klaus shut her up by backhanding her sending her to the floor with a cry. Obviously still caring about the human Stefan went to attack Klaus but Klaus obviously anticipated this and turned around grabbing Stefan by his throat.
"She means nothing to you? Your lies just keep piling up" Klaus spoke angrily as he stared at Stefan. "Let her go, I'll do whatever you want. You have my word" Stef gasped from Klaus' hold. "Your word doesn't mean much, I lived by your word all summer during which time I never had to resort to this" Klaus stated before he compelled him. "Stop fighting"
"Don't do this, don't do this" Stef begged as I slowly stood up from my seat on the floor. "I didn't want to, all I wanted was your allegiance, now I'm going to have to take it" Klaus stated before going back to the compulsion. "You will do exactly as I say, when I say it. You will not run, you will not hide, you will simply just obey"
I watched as Klaus let Stef go who looked upset with what had just happened. "Now kill them, rippah" Klaus smirked at him, and thanks to the compulsion Stef did exactly as he said and bit down on Dana's neck killing her, all the while I just stood here like an immobilized idiot.
I didn't know what to do, the dude had it coming since he lied to Klaus but I still didn't want my little brother to lose his choices on everything, I might hate him but that didn't mean I wanted this for him.
"It's always nice to see a vampire in their element, they've become a broody bunch" Klaus spoke as he bent down next to Elena who was still on the floor watching Stef feed off of Chad. "What do you think Lilly?" Klaus asked looking over at me, and thankfully now I could move.
I rushed over to Klaus sending him to the floor as I pinned him down with my hand around his throat. "Don't make me have to kill you Klaus, you've made him like this" I gritted and he chuckled. "I thought you'd like to see your little brother lose control of himself, plus you can't kill me love"
I raised my eyebrows challenging him. "Wanna bet? Watch me" I smirked going in for the kill but I couldn't, something was stopping me and I hated it. I've never hesitated to kill someone and now I was! I stared at Klaus who was staring right back at me, well it felt like he was staring into my soul like he could see and feel everything I was feeling. "Argh! Why can't I kill you?!" I growled as I clenched my jaw. "Come on Lilly, you can do it" I encouraged myself while the whole time Klaus carried on with his stupid smirk, which turned into a laugh as he flipped us over so he was now on top of me. "I'm sorry" He whispered as he stared down at me placing his hands on either side of my head, he lowered his head so his lips were grazing my ear. "You love me too much to kill me, sweetheart" He whispered before snapping my neck.
I do not love Klaus Mikaelson... do I?
Klaus
I stared down at Lilly rubbing my thumb against her cheek before pressing my lips against her forehead. "I'm so sorry mia regina" I whispered just loud enough for myself to hear.
Standing up Rebekah came storming into the gym heading straight for the doppelgänger. "Where is it?! Where's my necklace?" She snapped as she stood in front of the doppelgänger. "What are you talking about?" I asked as I turned around towards my little sister.
"She has my necklace, look" Rebekah told me as she passed me a phone that had a picture of Elena and Stefan together, taking a closer look I could see Rebekah's necklace on the doppelgängers neck. "Well, well, more lies" I smirked over at Stefan, he sure has kept a lot from me, this just explains why he seemed so interested in us leaving when Gloria told us she found the necklace.
"Where is it?" Rebekah asked looking ready to kill her. "I don't have it anymore" Elena rushed out fearing my little sister's wrath. "You're lying!" Bekah shouted before vamping out and biting down on her neck.
I quickly pulled her of the doppelgänger since I couldn't risk her dying just yet, I needed to know the verdict. "Knock it off!" I snapped glaring at Bekah, I couldn't be dealing with one of her tantrums, I needed to get my hybrid situation sorted out and then I can sort out the Lilly problem.
"Make her tell me where it is Nik" Bekah whined like a little child making me roll my eyes but I bend down looking over the only alive human here, if we had the necklace it would help. "Where's the necklace sweetheart? Be honest" She looked at me then to Bekah then back to me. "I'm telling the truth, Katherine stole it" She gasped holding her hand up to her neck where Bekah had bit her.
"Katerina, of course, well that's unfortunate, if we had the necklace it would make things a whole lot easier for your witch, but since we're doing this the hard way let's put a clock on it shall we?" I spoke pointing up to the big timer they had in here before walking over to the controls kicking some of the plastic cups out of my way.
Setting the clock for 20 minutes the sound of a buzzer rang out as it appeared up on the board. "20 minutes, if Bonnie hasn't found a solution by then I want you to feed again, only this time I want you to feed on Elena. You know you want to" I smirked as I stood in front of the rippah looking over at Elena.
"No, Klaus! Don't do this to him" The doppelgänger cried but I ignored her and picked Lilly up off the floor. "No one leaves, if she tried to run fracture her spine" I told him as I walked out with Lilly still in my arms and Bekah behind me.
I sent her to go watch over the wolf and blondie the vampire while I went to find the teenage witch. Looking down at Lilly I couldn't help myself from brushing the hair off her face, I needed these hybrids so she can have her answers, I need an army for her to get them.
"She said she had a message for you" I raised my eyebrows as I heard the human Matt speak. "For me?" The witch bitch asked. "From the witch that put the hybrid curse on Klaus, she said that Elena shouldn't have survived Klaus' ritual, the hybrids can't transition because Elena's still alive"
I smirked shaking my head, of course the original witch was trying to fool me once again.
"Tyler..." Bonnie trailed off as I made my way towards the pool they had here. "He's going to die, isn't he?" Matt asked sounding worried. "I wouldn't be too sure about that" I spoke making them both look over to me. "Given the choice, doppelgänger or a hybrid, I go hybrid everytime" I smirked before walking away knowing what I had to do.
The answer to my hybrids not surviving the transition it Elena's blood, I just had to test that theory out. "This is it love, let's see if it works" I whispered as I looked down at Lilly who I was still carrying, pressing my lips against her forehead.
As I went to head back to the gym where I left the doppelgänger and the rippah, Elena literally ran into me. "We've got to stop meeting like this" I chuckled as I stared her down, grabbing her by the arm and dragging her into the cafeteria where I knew Stefan would be.
Walking in I smirked to myself seeing him with a makeshift stake through his stomach. "Now this is fascinating, I've never seen this before. The only thing stronger than your craving for blood is your love for this one girl" I spoke as I let Elena go knowing she wouldn't try anything. "Why don't you turn it off?" I asked as I laid Lilly down on one of the tables just as she started to wake back up which meant I had to snap her neck again. She's gonna bloody kill me for this.
"No!" Stefan snapped as I sat next to my girl looking over at her little brother. "Come on, your humanity is killing you, all the guilt must be exhausting. Turn it off" I smirked because an emotionless rippah was a sight to see. "No!" He shouted making me chuckle. "You're strong" I admitted before rushing over to him and pulled the stake out of his stomach. "But you're not that strong. Turn. It. Off" I told him as I sent him a glare. "No!" He shouted once again giving me a perthitic little push and that was the last straw, I've tried to stay quiet over the summer with how he had been treating his sister not wanting to give anything away, but now I didn't care, this would all be over soon and she would remember.
I slammed him against the wall connecting my eyes with his so I could compel him. "TURN IT OFF!" I let him go and stood back as I watched him close his eyes and looking like he had just deflated as his shoulders relaxed, as his eyes snapped back open I couldn't help but let out a little chuckle, now the fun begins.
"What did you do?" Elena gasped staring at her boyfriend or ex whatever. "I fixed him, but I think a test is in order don't you" I smirked before walking to stand behind her placing my hands on her shoulders as I looked over at the new and improved rippah.
"Rippah, perhaps you'd like a drink from the doppelgangers neck" I tested smirking as his face changed and rushing over to her biting into her neck. Once I knew he had enough I tried to get him to stop but he wouldn't listen so I had to force him off her before he killed her.
"Now love, I need your blood" I told the doppelgänger as I walked over to her and slicing her wrist letting her blood drop into a test tube.
Testing my new found theory proved that I was right, Tyler Lockwood was now my first hybrid and I couldn't help but chuckle at the fact that I beat my own mother at her little tricks. Only thing is, is that it meant I had to drain Elena of her blood quickly before Damon arrived, just because Stefan was emotionless doesn't mean Damon Salvatore wouldn't come to his rescue.
"So the doppelgänger isn't the problem, her blood is the solution. How did you know?" Bekah asked as we sat outside the hospital waiting for the doppelgängers blood that a compelled nurse was getting for me. "Well you know how much the original witch hated me, do you honestly think I would do anything but the opposite of what she says?"
"A thousand years in the grave and she's still screwing with you" Bekah chuckled. "Well it makes sense if you think of it from her perspective, it was her fail-safe in case I ever broke the hybrid curse, the doppelgänger had to die in order for me to become a hybrid, but if she was dead..." I trailed off. "Then you couldn't use her blood to sire yourself a new species" Bekah finished. "Leaving me alone for all time" I spoke looking down at Lilly who was laid down on the bonnet of the car with a new snapped neck.
"Is that what this is about? Your obsession with hybrids? You just don't want to be alone?" Bekah asked shocked making me glare at her. "You know why I'm doing the Rebekah... I want my girl back, take my doppelgänger and hybrid and get the hell out of this pony town" I spoke with my back to her so she couldn't see the emotions that was no doubt on full show.
"Uh, you know, why don't you, uh, go get the truck?" I asked turned to look at her, thankfully she did as I asked after looking at me then down at Lilly, but once she was gone Damon Salvatore showed up. I rushed over to Lilly so he couldn't get his hands on her but I had a sneaky suspicion that he wasn't here for her.
"Look who finally decided to join the party" I smirked looking over at him. "Where is she?" He demanded making me raise my eyebrows. "Elena? She's making a donation to a greater cause" He tried to walk past me but I grabbed his arm stopping him. "I can't let you interfere mate" I smirked as I stood in front of him. "You'll have to kill me"
"I'd love to kill you but I made a pledge to your brother and your lovely sister, and unlike your brother I keep my word, all though thinking about it now he probably doesn't care that much anymore" I chuckled before pinning him down on one of the bonnet of the cars, specifically the one next to Lilly.
"Don't you want to know about Mikael?" Damon gasped out as I went to punch him, but that question stopped me. "What do you know about Mikael?" I gritted holding my fist up ready to punch him. "Just that he knows you're here" He gasped from my hold. "You're bluffing" I spoke still keeping my fist held up.
"Katherine and I found him, consider it our leverage" He gasped before I threw him against the other car before grabbing Lilly and speeding off to get the bloodbags the nurse had for me, some contained Elena's blood the others normal ones in case we got hungry on our next road trip and there were no humans around us.
I needed to get us both out of Mystic Falls now. I put Lilly in the car before getting in the drivers side and speeding off away from the small town, I couldn't have Lilly here anymore, not right now.
Passing the border, I let out a sigh as Lilly let out a groan, I didn't snap her neck since there wasn't anywhere she could go off to and I knew she would rather be on a road trip than back in Mystic Falls. I didn't say anything I just kept my eyes on the road, I didn't know what to say to her, I was still in shock that Mikael had been woken, by Katerina Petrova who once again trying he mess everything up.
"Now where are you taking me?" Lilly asked bringing me out of my thoughts, I flicked my eyes over to her noticing she was rubbing her neck looking out the window. I reached behind me to grab her a bloodbag chucking it on her lap. "Here drink this, we're leaving town for a while"
"Yeah, I can see that, but why? What did I miss?" She questioned before starting on the bloodbag. "Let's just say you're one step closer to getting your answers" I told her looking back at the road. "Finally" She mumbled making me chuckle which slowly died out when I remembered I would be finding something out that I knew I wouldn't like.
I didn't know if I wanted to know, there was a part of me that did but the other part didn't.
"So now that we've spent all summer together are you going to tell me who that letter was from?" I questioned breaking the silence not wanting to think about it anymore. I knew about who this Phoebe was but I wanted to know is she would tell me since she didn't remember.
"It's not a story I like to talk about Klaus, all I'll say is I never thought I would ever hear from her" She sighed making me nod knowing that was the best I would get. "Fine, if you don't want to tell me that, then tell me something, make this road trip entertaining"
"Fine, what do you want to know?" She asked throwing the empty bloodbag into the back seat turning her body towards me. "Tell me something you've never told anyone"
"Hmm, sometimes I feel bad for ruining Stefan's life because he basically saved mine... he hadn't of changed me I would've died anyway, but then I think about everything he did when we were human and it makes me want to kill him slowly and painfully" I chuckled noticing the look in her eyes I had seen plenty of times. "You know you're a lot like me" I stated making her raise her eyebrows.
"How so?" She asked intrigued. "Just a wild guess" I shrugged looking back at the road. "You're turn, tell me something you've never told anyone" She smirked at me making me chuckle, I've told one person all my deepest darkest secrets and she was sat in this very car with me. "I'm trusting you with this" I warned her making her nod and hold out her pinkie finger. "Pinkie promise" She smirked making me roll my eyes, but non-the less wrap my pinkie around hers.
"I told my siblings that our father killed our mother before he went on a rampage killing everything and anyone in his way... but I killed her" I told her honestly. "Your mother was the original witch right?" She asked making me nod. "I'm glad you killed her, the thing I heard about her, she was the most talked about witch about all the pure evil she had done, even while she was on the other side"
"That's my mother for you, always ruining everyone's lives" I mumbled before we both drifted off into silence. Which was disturbed by mu phone ringing.
"Hello sister" I sighed knowing why she was ringing. "Where the bloody hell are you? And you took Lilly with you!" She snapped making me roll my eyes. "We're on a little road trip, keep an eye on my hybrid and Stefan for me and make sure he watched over Elena, I don't need her dying just yet. See you soon little sister" I told her before putting the phone down throwing it onto the dashboard.
"I never thought that I'd say this but you're not as evil as everyone makes you out to be" Lilly spoke making me look over at her before looking back at the road. "What makes you say that love? I'm the devil in disguise" I chuckled.
"I know your only making these hybrids so you won't be lonely, and if anyone knows about being lonely it's me, trust me" She mumbled looking out the passenger window. "So you've never had any comrades? Friends? Lovers?" I asked even though I didn't really want the answer to that.
"No, I turned a couple of people but they always go against you, leaving you in a town that's on a vampire hunt" She mumbled. "What about lovers?" I asked my grip on the steering wheel tightening. "None, I hate men touching me, I've kill them all" She told me which made me ease my grip and relax.
"What makes you think I'm doing this because I'm lonely?" I asked going back to the previous conversation. "I can see it in your eyes, it's the same as the one I have in mine, even if you aren't doing it because you don't want to be lonely, even if that's not the reason why I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason as to why you are"
I stared at her knowing she was right, I was lonely I have been since the worst day of my life.
