Lilly
After the whole sibling reunion, which ended with Stef sending himself and Damon flying through the window after we started tormenting him about what it would be like to drink Elena's blood, I went back to the house I've been staying at to sleep the night away.
Waking up this morning I decided to pack up all my belongings up before putting them into my car so I can move into the boarding house. Thankfully I travel light so it all fit in my Audi r8.
Once my car was packed up I compelled the home owners to forget everything they knew about me and that vampires even existed, before I rushed out to my car and sped off to the boarding house.
I knew it was a bad idea moving in to the boarding house, but that was made even more clearer as I walked through the door. "Lilly"
"What can I do for you, young descendant of mine?" I questioned looking over at Zach with a smirk firmly planted on my lips.
"I don't want any trouble while you're in town. This town still has its memories, some families still know the stories"
I blinked a couple of times before I burst out laughing. He actually thought he had the right to tell me what to do.
"Remember Zach, you're human. I'm not. The outcome of you not shutting your mouth is obvious. I could easily kill you" I glared at him. Who did he think he was? If I wanted to go out and feed, then I'll go out and bloody well feed.
"I'm full of vervain" He spoke strongly thinking that would stop me from killing him. "Vervain, really? Remember Zach, there's plenty more ways for you to die"
Seeing the fear in his eyes I rolled my own. "Calm down. I'm here strictly on business. I don't particularly like this town"
"What business?" He questioned making me chuckle to myself. "That's for me to know and for you to never find out" He glared at me making me once again chuckle.
I like this guy, he's funny.
"Look, I don't know why you or Damon are back, but you don't belong here. There's people in this town that still know about vampires"
I glared at him when he said I didn't belong here. If I don't belong here, then where the hell do I belong? This is my home town, it doesn't hold a lot of happy memories, but it's still the small town I was brought up in.
"This is my home, Zach. You'll do well to remember that"
I left him stood in front of the door while I went up to my room noticing it needed to be re-decorated. The room looked horrible, along with my bathroom and closet.
Leaving my belongings in the room I went back out to compel myself some work men to start on my room. It took a while since I needed to draw up a blueprint of how I wanted it, but once it was all done I had them start on it straight away before leaving to go shopping.
I needed some quality me time and I needed more clothes since I left most of my stuff back at my home in New York.
I love New York, it's full of humans which meant there was plenty of them for me to choose from, it's why I went there for a bit after living in Britain before I came back to Mystic Falls, and what a huge mistake it was turning out to be.
After getting my nails done and shopped my heart out I made my way back to the boarding house, only to be welcomed to Damon and Elena stood in the Parlour.
I kicked the door closed behind me since my hands were full, they both snapped their heads towards me. I looked Elena up and down smirking to myself, god she looks so much like Katherine.
"You must be Elena. Stefans told me so much about you" Well not tell me, more like writes in his journal. She looked at me confused making me think that Stefan didn't mention me to her.
"Elena, this is my twin sister, Lilly" Damon introduced me making her nod, but still looking confused.
I chuckled as I walked to the bottom of the stairs placing my bags down before looking at her. "I take it our brother never mentioned me"
"He didn't mention neither of you" She mumbled to herself but it was still loud enough for me to hear her. "No" She shook her head loud enough for us to hear, since she didn't think we'd be able to hear her little whispered comment.
"Well, that's Stefan for you. He doesn't like to brag" I laughed receiving a small smile from her.
I walked over to the little bar we had in here, well you couldn't really call it a bar, it was more of a little table that held bottles of alcohol, one of which I added to the collection. My favourite, whiskey and blood.
"I can definitely see why Stefan's so smitten with you, Elena" I started as I poured myself a drink. "I mean, it's about time. I never thought he'd get over the last one. He was a mess after" I shrugged pretending to not notice the uncomfortable look she was giving me, but she also looked intrigued.
I guess they haven't had the whole ex conversation.
"The last one?" She asked to which Damon looked excited to answer making me chuckle to myself. He's going to ruin whatever she had with Stefan before it even starts. I love it.
"Yeah, Katherine, his girlfriend"
I looked over at Elena noticing the look on her face. "By the look on your face, I'm gonna go ahead and take it that you haven't had the whole ex conversation yet" Damon mussed also noticing the look on her face.
She shook her head making me snort and shrug my shoulders. "Well I'm sure the conversation is bound to pop up sometime soon"
"Maybe he didn't tell you because he didn't want you to think that he's on the rebound... we all know how they end" Damon shrugged.
"You say that like every relationship it doomed to end" Elena raised her eyebrows looking at Damon while I made my way over to one of the love seats we had in the room.
"I'm a fatalist" Damon smirked at her. "Plus, life isn't some fairy tale, nothing good lasts" I added, before looking over Elena's shoulder, my eyes landing on Stefan. "Hello Stefan"
"Elena, I didn't know you were coming over" Stefan spoke not even sparing her a glance, deciding to keep his eyes on me and Damon as I stood up and made my way over to them.
"I know I should have called. I just-" She started but Damon cut her off. "Oh, don't be silly, you're welcome anytime. Isn't she Lilly?" Damon looked over at me raising his eyebrows with a smirk on his face.
I rolled my eyes but nodded my head anyway. "Of course"
"I'll go get the baby photos, or some home movies, but I should warn you, Stefan wasn't always a looker" Damon teased with his famous smirk planted on his lips.
"I got all the good looks in our family" I smirked flicking my hair over my shoulder.
"Thank you for stopping by, Elena. It was nice to see you" Stefan spoke sparing her one glance before looking back at me and Damon.
"Yeah, I should probably go. It was nice to meet you both, Lilly, Damon" She spoke no doubt noticing the tension between the 3 of us.
She went to walk out the room towards the door, but Stefan was stood in her way as he stood glaring at us both. "Stefan?... Stefan?"
He looked down at her, stepping to the side so she can walk past while bringing his eyes back to me and Damon.
She seemed hurt by his actions but she didn't say anything she just walked out of the house saying nothing.
"Ouch" I chuckled at my little brother, who intensified his glare on me. "Oh, don't look at me like that. That was a bit harsh to be coming from you Steffie. How will you live with yourself now?"
"She's a great gal, she's got spunk. You on the other hand look pooped. Did you over-exert yourself today?" Damon asked making me look at them both confused before asking what they were talking about.
Turns out that the girl Damon attacked the other night; Vicky Donovan, had told her brother Matt that she was attacked by a vampire and Stefan went to visit her today to compel her to think that it was an animal that attacked her.
Only thing with Stefans compulsion is that it's not as strong as it would be if he fed from humans, so let's just hope it worked on the human. Can't be having her running around screaming about vampires.
"How long was Elena here?" Stefan asked looking at us both.
"You worried, Stefan? Scared we may be doomed to repeat the past? Isn't that why you play your little game I'm a high school human?" Damon asked raising his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes. "Well you guys are depressing I'm going up to my room to see how it's going" I mumbled before walking over to my bags and walking up to my room to see it a complete mess since it was all get renovated.
Knowing I couldn't stay up here I walked back out of the room leaving my bags at the side of the door before I headed off to the grill, I wasn't staying in this house with my brothers.
