Riccardo's POV:

I smirked looking at her as she was busy in the garden, She was just having her afternoon coffee there. I know she didn't went to reach for that Man.

But I wonder what goes under her little mind.

I will do anything to keep her away from that man.

I noticed she had a glance at me getting busy with the book again. I smirked, she does reads books?

So, out of her character?

I chuckled looking away, having a sip of my coffee as well. I am amused she agreed to share coffee with me, but she has indeed been cautious about my injury.

She does care.

I want to know her more, more to her story.... more than what her parents told me or I got to know.

Sure, this fragile looking women has lot of color ... I can't miss any.

I heard her, "You look happy about something...."

I knew she taunted, I said, "You seem to care, Love...."

She scoffed saying, "Why would I?...."

She looked away, I said, "Maybe I am thankful  How I got to know such a great player.... who has hundreds of secrete....."

I saw her scoff,

I smile... Now it's time you show me all your cards wife.

I smirked, Let's meet each other as the real people we are. Let's not pretend to be innocent or caring... when we all are the same.

I saw a stunning expression, but let's not hide wife.

I exposed her, "I was checking... calls and texts on your phone.... I knew I shouldn't, but I needed to find the man who think who can have your heart.... I was desperate Husband wanting my wife back..." I tried to show no emotions.

I was having fun seeing how this pretty girl looked even when caught red handed.

She banged her hands on the table, she warned, "How dare you!"

I said to Cherish, "Cool down my lovely.... there is more to the story...."

I explained, "I found a small hit of another device linked to the phone.... I couldn't find the other device at first... But I managed.... There is a popular pawn shop 30 km away from your parents house.... then another place where you store your goodies...."

She kept her eyes on me as anger filled her. I said, "You are a collector.... You sell and buy everything under your reach...... You also own a casino in the mega city.... biggest actually...."

She looked away, I added smiling, "That's so under the name of Lady Diamond.... What you wanted to hide this from your parents?.... Where is the shame in it to hide?...."

She sat down as her cheeks got red. Her anger was making her breath heavy. I said, "You are same as me.... No wonder I felt so attracted seeing you.... You like to hide, fool people.... You are no spoiled princess of a rich family.... but the girl who tricks the words and her family hiding her identity....."

I taunted, "No wonder... you knew how to pawn the jewelry and car when you ran away from wedding.... you remembered to every details to hide your path.... you are cunning...."

But you forgot who I am.

She looked away, she said, "My family is not like you all..... They would have thought I ruined their name.... My dad runs schools ... colleges..... there is no way he will be proud of me...."

She looked away as she said, "My Dad is a decent man... Not someone like you whom everyone fears.... because you can kill them.... I have seen people like you all disgust me...."

I stayed silent, She cooled down after few minutes, she sipped some water, she whispered, "Don't tell anyone.... I had to put lot of effort to keep the money making secret...."

She fixed her hair again, trying to look decent lady. I told her, "Then you should know your father better.... You did what runs in your blood... just a better option...."

She couldn't understand me, I smirked saying, "Derosa's work for me.... They smuggle guns, ammunitions .... and other things for money..... Education business is just a play.... Wife.... You are doing what you were born into...."

Her eyes filled with tears, I realized what I did. I shouldn't have mentioned.

She whispered, "My... My family does.... bad things..." Her hands started shaking.... she was shaking so bad, it shook my core too.

She went to grab her phone, she looks confused.

I got up going near her, I grabbed her hand trying to feel her distress possibly handing her some confort.

She said angry, "I need to ask my dad!!!.... I don't trust you!!!"

I nod saying, "Yes... but when you quit this anger and be little cool... .."

She looks away as her hand were tight in mine, I can feel how much she was hating it, she was panicking.

I destroyed her wonderland in my will to expose her.

She looked at me again straight, she asked as her angry eyes were scanning me, "Why... Why did my father married me to you?"

I kept my eyes on her, she grabbed my collar as she said, "F*cking answer me!!!!...."

I preferred to stay silent for now. But she again said, "You are coward!!!..... or you think I am a coward!!!"

She pushed me creating some distance, she walked away from me as she said, "I preferred to be married with a real man!.... Now some douche bag ... who got no balls...."

I heard her, "You are not worth of marrying me... Or being my husband... when you can't tell me the truth about this marriage!!!"

I said to her pulling her to myself, "I needed to protect you.... I got selfish.... I got a chance I took it!!.... Protecting you like a selfish man, who dreamed to have you.... that's what I did...... You walked in my life, I was never going to let you out...."

She was sitting on the chair trying to understand everything, her eyes were already dropping tears. Her face showed her distress.

I stood there wondering, when did everything slip out of control.

I didn't wanted to tell her all this.... but isn't it the best.

I heard her whisper, "My family... cannot hide all of this from me... My existence, my life was built around lies.... the guilt I felt for hiding everything from my parents is much smaller than being a daughter of criminal....."

I sat on my knees, I caressed her face as I said, "Cherish.... Everything is going to be alright...."

She asked, "My father.... came for help.... to save his daughter... but you tricked him into marrying me to you..... You are sick to play this game...."

I told her, "You were only safe with me..... and I do not regret anything...... I wasn't going to lose you..."

She said to be hurtful, "I am never yours...... I can forgive no one for this..."

She got to walk away. But she bumped into my injured hand. I hissed, or I pretended. I just never wanted her to be alone right now.

I can't trust what her emotions will do to her.

She whispered looking at my arm, "You won't know what it feels to be hurt..... this injury never is enough for what you took from me...."

She said again, "My freedom... my life.... and the man I love.... I lost everything..... because you thought, you can marry because you want.... where is my consent!!!"
