Chapter 25 of 30

Chapter 24

"What!? Ninety nine!?" I looked at Clyde shocked but he looked around my age!? how could he be ninety nine!?

Clyde smiled "I'm the second youngest one here after Hades we'll second youngest now third since there's you!"

"But that doesn't make any sense!" I protested

"No it does I died when I was eight years old because my Prana and mana awakened at the same time and my mana was much stronger much much stronger." Clyde waved his hands around showing how much stronger it was.

I stared blankly back "so your eight-"

"No I'm ninety nine because I've been trapped here for ninety one years" he grinned like it was an accomplishment

I just blinked letting it settle.

"We'll looks like I'll have to introduce you to the others and show you around next time!" He exclaimed "what huh why-" I began

Opening my eyes I stared at the white ceiling "she's awake!" Someone I couldn't make out who's voice it was.

Turning I saw the priestess sigh with relief "Rossetti how are you feeling?" Mother asked seeming a little panicked.

"Fine" I muttered sitting up.

It didn't hurt.

I knew that it wouldn't but how was I going to explain this to anyone?

Don't you dare explain it to anyone!

A voice filled my head again I nearly jumped when I caught sight of a black wolf sitting in the corner of the room.

No one seemed to notice other than me.

it but it seemed to stare into my soul.

I won't just stop staring please it's scary

I tried to send a message back.

Me scary? Do you know how amazing I am! I'm in history books how can I be scary! Actually maybe I am a little scary I am a great Mage after all!

This was to much.

The room suddenly felt stuffy mother kept asking questions Father was busy talking to the twins

Grandfather Alphonso was having a serious talk with uncle Astor.

The doctor kept asking if a felt alright and I just kept nodding my head.

"Mother.." my voice faded out to the noise Mum looked at me she seemed distracted with something her head snapped around "yes?" She asked almost worried all eyes were on me now the room had fallen silent.

I tried smile "I'd like to rest a bit"

I think they understood since father was the first to leave with grandfather and Uncle the twins following behind.

Mother and the priestess left talking quietly as I even dismissed the maids.

I stared at the wolf in the corner "you to" I said aloud staring back at the wolf it blinked twice "fine" it said aloud nearly making me jump.

The wolf could talk!?

"Yes I can talk!" He snapped "I'm a person not an actual wolf! Didn't Clyde tell you anything?"

"Yes he told me!" I exclaimed "but still a wolf talking isn't normal I know that for sure!"

"And how do you know that your just a kid" the wolf seemed to glare at me "because I may not be as smart as Tia but I'm not dumb animals can't speak!" I glared right back "one how can you be sure of that did you live long enough to be sure!?" He pointed out "yes I have!-"

"Then how are you speaking to me right now!?" The wolf demanded I paused "you just called yourself an animal..."

The wolf shut up "you damn kid!"

"I am a kid!" I exclaimed "I'm eight years old how old are you old man!"

"You take that right back! I am not an old man!" He exclaimed "yea your right your not old your history!" I pointed out he glared at me again.

Or I liked to call it glaring more like staring into my soul and wanting to kill me.

"So who are you?" I asked after a moment of deadly silence "I'm Hades" he grumbled.

I paused Hades the guy that I first met when I passed out.

"Ungrateful child" he grumbled jumping out the window.

I rushed to the side with wide eye's

He was gone.

I sighed lying down on my bed well this was just great I was arguing with a ghost or maybe people call them spirits and one day I'd be a ghost or a spirit that doesn't sound fun at all.

Even more weird the spirit was in the form of a wolf and I've never argued with an animal before.

The last few days had been crazy.

I just wanted things to go back to normal.

I wanted to go back to before dad hit me and became mean before I met the first Prince.

Before my eighth birthday being seven wasn't so bad.

Before aunt Ronnece lost the baby before everything.

But now I was stuck here and everything had happened and I don't know what's going to happen.

Hades said not to tell anyone. I don't see why I shouldn't I'll ask next time.

Closing my eyes I seemed to wake up in a field of flowers.

The sun was bright but the sun was always bright.

It was almost nice I lay there for a long time.

"We'll look at the kid living the life!" I sat up

"Ginger!" I waved "my name is not ginger!" Ginger yelled a tall blond lady with icy blue eyes who stood beside him burst out laughing

"Ginger she called you ginger! I'm calling you ginger from now on!" Ginger glared at the lady who walked up to me and put out her hand for me to shake "I'm Opal" she said with a bright smile I looked at her shaking her hand "I-I'm Rossetti"

She smiled "Rossetti it's a nice name suits you a lot especially since your side of the island is covered in flowers and sunshine"

"My side?" I looked at Opal confused "every time someone new joins the island gets a little bigger part of the enchantment meant to be a prison though" she snickered "Ginger and Clyde must have already explained that before Hades died he decided to make this gloomy black space a little bright so incase he couldn't fully break the spell at least he wouldn't be trapped in the dark and losing his mind"

I looked around me shocked "so this is my side of the island?"

Opal nodded "the island wasn't even here before it was just black space like being trapped in a cube of darkness full of your worst nightmares" she seemed to her shudder at that "that aside I think I'll leave you to it since you must be trying to get your head around things"

I nodded and she just disappeared even Ginger did.

I sat back down staring at the field I'm guessing this place would have been a lot worse If I had been born before.

Nothing made sense and I really wanted it to make sense.
