Chapter Thirty-Three

It was that moment where everything suddenly seemed perfect and you felt completely content with your life. There were no worries and nothing seemed to bring you down no matter how hard you tried to think of something. I was feeling that moment and let me tell you, it was remarkable to feel. My blue eyes were trained on the dazzling lights below me from Sean’s hotel room and I found my body pressed up against the wide window.

Everything looked beautiful from the top of the hotel. Redwood seemed like an entire different place. Lights from the different homes and boutiques shone brightly, making it look like it was part of an enchanted forest. I let out a breath and traced patterns against the window before my eyes reverted back to Sean who was on the phone with room service. Just like me and Juliet, Sean had a room to himself to stay in for the night. Majority of the seniors did, it was just that special moment of Prom and parents seemed to be fine with letting their kids splurge for once.

My eyes remained on Sean as he placed the phone back into its place and then he looked up towards me. I couldn’t help the warm tingly feeling that started at the pit of my stomach. I wasn’t sure if the feeling would ever go away whenever I thought about Sean or was in the same room with him, but all I knew was that I didn’t want it to stop. Goosebumps broke across my skin and I couldn’t help but stand there paralysed as Sean approached me with a small smile placed against his lips. Those kissable lips…

“Do you want your surprise now?” he asked, breaking me away from my thoughts.

I mentally shook away the thoughts of kissing Sean and blinked back any evidence that was present in my eyes before I answered with an eager smile, “Yes.”

Grinning at me, Sean instructed, “Close your eyes.”

Frowning, “Why?” I asked.

Sean raised an eyebrow at me with a snort he replied, “It’s s surprise Lanter. If you see it now then it won’t be a surprise.”

With a reluctant sigh, I shut my eyes and waited impatiently for Sean to get my surprise. While I waited, I couldn’t stop from wondering what the ‘surprise’ was. I mean, it wasn’t like I had gotten Sean anything, which I did feel bad about and here he was being a gentleman and getting me a gift. Strangely enough, Sean Gregory wasn’t as much of the bad boy he was supposed to be. Sure he rode a bike and sported a leather jacket, but he was sweet and kind and completely and utterly gorgeous in that way that made my knees knock-

“You can open your eyes now,” Sean whispered; his warm breath brushing against my face.

My eyes fluttered open slightly before I blinked away the dimness of the room. I had to stop myself from letting out a gasp at the closeness of Sean’s face to mine, but more importantly from the sight of the small and narrow white box he held in his hands. I scanned the cream coloured box, with a simple pink ribbon fixed on the lid. My eyes went back to Sean’s hazel eyes and I chewed on my lower lip tentatively.

“What is it,” I asked, not daring to open the box.

Sean’s eyes darted to the box then to his hands. He looked nervous before he brushed it off with a slight laugh and held the box out to me with a simple, “Why don’t you open it and see?”

Slowly I took the box from Sean’s hands and slid open the lid. Inside the box was filled with light pink, rosy tissue paper which surrounded a single silver locket. I reached down carefully pulling the heart-shaped locket out of the box before I ran my thumb along the front of the locket. It had tiny curls and twists engraved on the outer of the locket with two distinct curls joining in the centre. I looked back up at Sean and noticed the expectant look in his eyes.

“There’s a latch on the side,” Sean explained before pointing to the side of the locket, “where you can open it.”

I smiled before slowly sliding my thumb to the tiny latch on the side of the locket. Flipping it open, I opened the locket and scanned the small inside of it only to have my eyes widen in surprise. Instead of being bare, there in the right hand side of the locket was a small heart shaped photo. I scanned the picture and found that it was of me and Sean laughing, but instead of looking into the camera, we were looking at each other.

“Where was this,” I asked, not pulling my eyes away from the photo.

“Venice,” Sean breathed; his mouth closer than ever.

I stole a glance at Sean and found that his eyes were on mine. I licked my lips before handing him the locket and asked, “Put it on for me?”

He looked down at the locket, as if suddenly remembering that was what we were talking about. Nodding, he took the locket from my hand and turned me around so that I was staring back at the lights from the city below. I felt Sean brush back a few strands of hair away before he pulled the locket around my neck and clasped it. I didn’t turn around; instead I let my fingers curl around the locket as I smiled to myself a smile that didn’t want to go away.

“Do you like it,” Sean asked; his mouth next to my ear.

I shivered slightly as I breathed, “Yes, I love it.”

For a moment we stood there in silence. My heartbeat was faster than normal, accelerating to speeds sure to give me a heart attack. I pressed my palm against the window again as my eyes wandered over the bright lights which glittered like different orbs. Music from the hotel banquet room drifted up, still sounds of people laughing and dancing from Prom still loud and clear. Another wide smile tugged at my lips and I let out a slow breath, just lapping up the moment and never wanting it to end.

“Beautiful isn’t it,” Sean finally spoke.

I glanced down at the lights again and nodded in agreement, “Amazing.”

I felt Sean’s fingers on my shoulder. The spot instantly turned hot and I felt a million tingles running along my skin to the tips of my fingers. Swallowing a lump I forced away the butterflies in my tummy feeling and focused on the lights below instead. Chewing on my lower lip and I traced a simple heart against the clear window as I leaned forward to stare down at the streets which were busy with cars.

“You’re beautiful too,” Sean whispered, his lips brushing against my ear.

A shudder ran down my spine and I sucked in a breath. I could feel my nerves all over the place and Sean being close as he was, was not helping the fluttering feeling I was trying to keep at bay for a while longer. It was like a silent understanding between us, fuelled by all the tension and obvious attraction that filled the space of our bodies. It was a big moment and no matter how nervous I felt, I couldn’t have been happier. It was a feeling I had been craving ever since I could remember and now I had it and I wanted to prolong it for as long as I could.

“When I was little,” I began, “my mother booked us a hotel room here because I remember asking her why I didn’t have a birthday party with my grandparents like all the other kids at school.”

“Why,” Sean asked.

I brushed a strand of hair away from my eyes before continuing, “Mum couldn’t stand being around them, she said they made her feel like everything she had done was a mistake.”

Sean’s hand on my shoulder tightened before it moved down to my palm and he interwove his fingers with mine.

“So she felt bad and booked us a hotel room and I remember I woke up at night for a glass of water and instead I peeked outside the window and saw all the bright lights from the city,” I carried on, “and I wished that maybe one day, I’d see my father and we could be a happy family together and look down at the lights every night.”

When Sean was silent and didn’t say anything I suddenly felt silly as I laughed, but it came out sounding strained. I cleared my throat as spoke, “I know, it’s kind of dumb now but I was little and-”

“No,” Sean cut me off, “it’s not dumb. You wanted to have a normal life; there’s nothing wrong with that.”

I smiled to myself then leaned back slightly, my back pressing against Sean’s chest and I let out a slow breath before speaking, “Thanks Sean…for everything really.”

I felt Sean’s free arm wrap around my stomach before he pulled me closer to his chest before his mouth nuzzled its way to my neck and he breathed out, “Come on Lanter,” he pressed a quick kiss against my skin, “you’ve got to stop thanking me.”

I sucked in another breath and felt my heartbeat speed up. My skin was on fire, everything around me felt like I was sitting a room filled with tension and not necessarily the bad kind. I licked my lips, before I turned around slowly until I was facing Sean. Even in the too high stilettos I was still a lot shorter than Sean. I looked up, my eyes connecting with Sean’s hazel eyes which glowed from the lights outside the window. In the dim room, the only light source coming from the small bedside light on the large King sized bed in the centre of the hotel room.

I stood on my tip-toes before I pressed a small kiss against Sean’s lips but as I began to pull away, Sean leaned closer. His mouth captured mine in a slow, long kiss. Our lips melded as one, moving together. When his lips parted, mine followed allowing for his warm tongue to slowly enter my mouth. I felt my body heat up as my hands followed their own accord and trailed their way up Sean’s suit, feeling every inch of his hard body through the material.

I bit back a soft moan as Sean sucked in my lower lip, before I felt his teeth grazing it ever so slightly. A shudder ran down my spine as Sean moved to my upper lip and he did the same, causing a wave of thrills to blind my vision. My fingers moved higher until they were lying against the nape of Sean’s neck and slowly I threaded them through his dark as midnight hair. The strands felt soft against my skin and instantly my grip tightened slightly against Sean’s hair, drawing him nearer.

Sean’s fingers trailed against my bare shoulders then they moved down to my waist where they came to a rest. After a moment longer, I pulled away from the kiss and sucked in a long awaited breath before glancing at Sean. My breaths matched his pants, coming out fast and heavy. We stared at each other for a moment before Sean began to lead me towards the elegant loveseat that matched the rest of the room in its grey-blue colour and dark, mahogany wooden frame.

I sat down, my dress swirling around my waist as I kicked off my heels and pulled Sean against me. My hands circled around his hard torso before I pressed my mouth back against his, tasting the slight spiciness in his mouth. My body moulded against his as though we were meant to fit together and I let out a low moan as Sean’s tongue did weird and wonderful things to my neck. I felt Sean smirking against my skin before he pulled away and looked me dead in the eye as I licked my lower lip.

His eyes dropped to my lips again before he spoke; his voice sounding husky, “You smell nice.”

A small laugh left my lips as I sat up slightly. Feeling brave I whispered against his ear, “You taste nice.”

Sean turned to stare at me and I noticed desire pass through his eyes before he attacked my lips with his again. My eyes instantly closed and I let my body take control. My brain sat in the backseat as my hands felt their way up Sean’s body, before they pushed away at his suit jacket. My fingers grasped at his shoulders as Sean pressed small kisses along my collarbone before making his way down until they were just above the edge of my corset. I sucked in a breath before I allowed my eyes to open.

Swallowing a lump, I let my hands move to Sean’s chest where I pushed him up slightly and began to unbutton his shirt. For a moment, he seemed stunned into stillness before he took my hands in his. I frowned before throwing him a look but was stopped as he pulled me up with him towards the large bed. Instantly my eyes went large and I felt my knees shake against each other. Sean noticed my expression and sent me a reassuring smile that warmed my insides.

“It’s more comfortable,” he whispered.

I nodded as I followed him towards the bed, lit up only by the faint bedside lamps. Shirt unbuttoned and revealing abs that made my brain go haywire, I found myself attacking Sean. Pushing him against the bed, I helped him shrug off his dress shirt before I began to resume my attack on every visible part of his body. I felt his arms tighten around my waist as I placed an array of kisses against his hard chest, my hands following my mouth.

Slowly I pulled away, my eyes dazed and filled with longing that my body craved. I stared down at Sean who was breathing hard, matching my own breaths. Our gazes locked as Sean’s fingers began to expertly untie the ribbons of my corset, sending each one to flutter down wistfully. By now my stomach was a series of crazy somersaults and butterflies trying to explode out while every inch of my skin burned with craving.

Suddenly Sean sat up, flipping us over in one quick move. My eyes widened as my mind processed what had just happened. Slowly I looked down at our bodies, mixed together in a pile in messy Prom clothes and Sean’s bare torso. I bit back a sigh and glanced up at Sean’s face. His eyes held an air of mischief, but behind it was a more sincere look that made my heart melt. I placed my arms around Sean’s neck and drew him nearer until our mouths were less than an inch apart.

“Your dress is getting ruined,” Sean breathed, his voice vibrating in his chest and causing my insides to do a silly happy dance.

“Is it,” I asked, squirming in my spot.

Sean nodded before he closed the distance between us. I thought by now I would have gotten tired of Sean’s kisses but for some reason, the more I kissed Sean, the more I wanted to stay in that position forever. My body had a mind of its own, moving so naturally that I couldn’t help but stop and wonder if this was really happening. My skin tingled with fire and my body shuddered as Sean’s fingers slowly and gently inched off my dress until we were both semi-naked.

Sean pulled his mouth from mine and let his hazel eyes move down my body. I was glad that my cheeks were red from all the kissing to camouflage the heated blush that rose to my face like wildfire. Sean met my gaze before he offered me a boyish smile and I let out a breath I didn’t know I had been holding. He leaned closer, his face next to mine as he nuzzled his mouth to my ear.

“Still gorgeous as ever,” he murmured.

My fingers trailed up Sean’s neck and I turned to face him. We both laid there side by side, our faces turned towards each other before my eyes drifted to Sean’s. In the dimness of the room and with the lights from Redwood through the window, I couldn’t help the feeling of contentment that filled my insides. I reached out, trailing a finger down Sean’s face and I found him smiling at me. Returning his smile, I leaned closer and pressed my mouth to his.

Our movements were much slower as the kiss deepened. Sean’s hand brushed against my hair and I sat up, pulling out the bobbing pins and letting my waves free. Sean grinned down at me, before he ran his fingers through the length of my hair and pressed his body against mine. The contact of Sean’s skin on mine caused a series of emotions and physical feelings to suddenly burst through and I let out a low moan as Sean’s hands fondled my breasts through the laciness of my white bra.

My body was heating up from the inside, spreading out through my skin and movements. Slowly Sean slipped a strap down my shoulder, slowly and purposefully as his mouth trailed after the strap. A shudder ran down my spine with every inch closer Sean’s lips got to my breast. I shut my eyes and let out a sigh, feeling my body bursting with everything it, wanting Sean to never stop. But he did. Pulling away, Sean leaned closer to my face, his mouth hovering above mine.

“Are you sure about this,” he asked, his voice breathless and husky.

I bit down on my lip as I stared up at Sean. His question was loaded with a lot more than it said. Was I ready to have sex and lose my virginity? The one thing I would never get back? Was I going to trust Sean and let him take the one thing that was truly mine to give if I chose to? But looking up into Sean’s brown eyes, the golden-hazel orbs that made all the nerves in my chest dissolve into nothing. I licked my lips as wrapped my hands around Sean’s neck before I pulled him closer.

“Yes,” I breathed out.

With that, Sean pressed his mouth once again on mine before he moved down to my bra strap, this time he didn’t hesitate to slip it off. My body shook as Sean’s hands slowly and teasingly removed the other strap, sliding it down my arms until the only think keeping it against my body was the clasp at my back. As if reading my mind, Sean grinned up at me as he unclasped my bra, in a single move.

Replacing his mouth back at my collarbone, I felt my chest brush against Sean’s bare one and I would be lying if I said my toes didn’t curl at the contact. Inching his mouth closer, Sean took in a nipple and sucked slowly eliciting a loud moan from my mouth, catching me by surprise. He pulled away and blew hot air across it before doing the same thing to my other. All that time, my body shook with waves after waves of pleasure, my skin tingling with anticipation and giddiness.

Sean’s mouth slowly snaked down to below my bust before his lips came to a stop just above my navel. My hands moved down to Sean’s hair, where my fingers knotted themselves into it and tugged on for dear life as Sean began to lick and suck at my skin, moving lower with every stroke of his hot tongue against my body. Teasingly, he pulled away and placed his mouth against my neck, ignoring the soft sounds that came out of my mouth.

I reached down to Sean’s tuxedo pants and I began to unbutton it, as Sean pressed soft kisses along my chest. As soon as his pants were unbuttoned, I reached down and began to push it off Sean and stopped short when I couldn’t reach any longer. I sucked in a breath before I squirmed until my feet had hooked into Sean’s waistline and pushed off the remainder of his pants. Sean kicked his pants off his feet before he smirked down at me.

“You’ve got moves Lanter,” he commented, his voice low.

“What can I say,” I whispered, before biting a moan that threatened to escape as Sean’s fingers began to massage the innards of my thigh, “I’m…just…that…good.”

A flash of desire flashed through Sean’s eyes before he murmured, “Yes Lanter, you’re god damn good.”

Feeling Sean’s fingers methodically massage my upper thighs, I couldn’t stop the moan that left my lips. His hands moved higher, dangerously close to my special and most private place that was feeling funny and excited at the same time. He hooked his thumb into the hem of my underwear before he began to tug it down. I felt tingles running down my spine and my breaths grew faster and heavier.

I shut my eyes and felt Sean’s mouth placing delicate kisses against my neck as he slid his fingers into my underwear before he pulled it off completely, leaving the only part of clothing between us his boxers. Shuddering I felt his fingers brush the outside of my entrance, causing every fibre of my body to cry out in joy that I never knew they wanted or felt. My legs parted slightly, allowing just enough space for Sean to slowly slip in a finger into my entrance.

I gasped; biting my lip as Sean’s finger began to swirl around, flicking in and out until my body began to shudder and shake while my fingers gripped tightly onto Sean’s shoulders with all my might. My breathing grew quicker until a low moan left my lips. Sean placed his mouth over mine, swallowing the sounds fit for some porn star. The feelings of goodness and all things pleasure that was being stirred from the act of Sean’s fingers in my most sacred place was making everything go wild with frenzy until I swear I could touch the fireworks behind my eyelids.

Just before I could feel the release my body desperately craved, Sean pulled his finger away, silencing my groan of protest with another long and heated kiss. This time, Sean pressed his body closer until there was no space possible between us. I could feel the hardness that was Sean pressing against my pelvis and hips which caused my heart to soar to speeds so fast I was sure that I was going to pass out. My fingers gripped tightly onto Sean as he kicked off his boxers and lowered himself down against me.

Lowering his arms on either side of my shoulders so that Sean’s face was directly above mine, he asked, “Are you sure about this?”

I ran a hand up Sean’s chest before I cupped his face in mine as I answered him honestly, “More sure than anything.”

He brushed away a few loose strands of my hair away from my face then pressed a slow kiss against my lips. Then he pulled away and whispered, “Tell me to stop if you-”

It was my turn to silence Sean as I pressed my lips against his.

Sean took the hint and began to lower his body against mine. I could feel every inch of his length as he began to slowly slide in, making sure all the while he was pressing tiny kisses against my shoulders and chest before moving to the small part under my ear. He began to nibble my ear lobe as he slid in a bit more until I felt him stop. I was about to speak but stopped when a sharp pain take over my entrance and core.

“Sean,” I breathed out, “it hurts…stop…”

Sean suddenly stopped his movements and slowly I felt him slide out before he brought his mouth to my forehead and he whispered, “I’m sorry,” he brushed away my hair, “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

I sucked in a deep breath, before shutting my eyes at the pain that was still harbouring my nether region. Finally I opened my eyes, breathing slowly as the pain began to subside and I found Sean’s eyes lined with concern as he stared down at me. I offered him a small smile which he returned half-heartedly. He leaned his face closer until I could feel his breath on my face. I let out a sigh, the pain now almost completely gone and I brought my hands to rest on Sean’s shoulders.

“I’m fine,” I whispered softly, before I wrapped my arms around Sean’s neck and pulled him closer so that he shifted and stretched out next to me, my face against the nook of his neck, “Really Sean.”

Sean’s arms circled around my waist before they moved down to my back and he began to trace small circles along my skin. I let out another soft sigh before I pressed my mouth back against Sean’s neck and wrapped my hands tighter around Sean’s neck. Even if the pain was unbearable and the fact that I was terrified I would feel it again, I didn’t want Sean to pull away and just stop as though it was his fault.

“Vivienne,” Sean finally groaned as I pressed my lips closer to the hollow of his neck.

“Hmm,” I encouraged him to speak.

Sean placed his hands against the small of my back and groaned again as my lips trailed kisses along his chest, “We shouldn’t…it’s…”

I pulled away slightly as I brought my mouth to Sean’s ear, and then replied in a low voice, “Don’t stop Sean…please.”

Sean locked eyes with me once again and then as if seeing the sureness in my eyes, he pushed me onto my back again and propped himself on his arms which he placed on either side of my torso. Pressing a slow and soft kiss against my lips, Sean began to slide in once again, this time he was slower and made extra care to stop every few seconds. I sighed, feeling him harden slightly as he slid in deeper and I mentally jumped up in relief when the pain that I expected didn’t come.

Slowly Sean slipped out before he slipped back in, getting faster with each thrust. I felt my fingers gripping tightly against his shoulders, my nails digging into Sean’s skin before I let out a moan. My legs shook as my hips began to move with Sean’s, his member burying deeper and deeper with each time he slid in. Suddenly I felt my body shudder one last time before my eyes shut in pure bliss. My body grew slack as I fell back against the bed, no thought except for ‘Wow’ that was travelling across my mind.

I heard Sean groan lowly before he fell against the side of me. For a few moments I just lay there panting like a dog. I opened my eyes again then glanced at Sean who was breathing just as, if not faster than I was. I rolled slowly towards him and almost instantaneously, Sean raised his arm and pulled me against his chest. And then without another thought or word, I shut my eyes and fell asleep, the only feelings of having Sean’s arms around me.

When I awoke, it was still partially dark and for a second I felt panic flood through my body as I scanned my surroundings which were most definitely not my room. And then, like a light bulb moment, memories of the night before came flooding back. Memories of Sean and lots of kissing and… I shook away the thoughts as I turned slightly, wincing when I felt an ache in between my legs, before I found my eyes falling onto Sean who was wide awake and smiling at me.

I felt a funny feeling that butterflies couldn’t even come close in description as he smiled at me like that. His expression was filled with warmth and longing and I couldn’t seem to tear my eyes away from him. I swallowed a lump and moved closer than what we already were; nestling my head against his neck as Sean drew his arms around me. I let out a soft sigh and began to drift off back to sleep when he spoke.

“There’s something I want to tell you,” he breathed.

I nodded, before yawning slightly.

Sean laughed but it came out strained, “It’s kind of stupid actually…I mean…I uh…”

I frowned before mumbling, “Just get it out Sean.”

I felt Sean’s chest rise and fall as he sucked in a breath and began again, his grip tight on me, “Look it’s nothing major…I mean unless you want it to be or not but like…” he fumbled, “what I’m trying to say is that I like you a lot.”

Glancing up at Sean, I found that he was looking at me with nervousness. Smiling, I leaned forward and replied, “I like you a lot too.”

“There’s more,” Sean continued, “I thought you were just going to be the girl in my assignment, a friend even but after all these months and well, being around you I realised that I couldn’t even think of a world where you weren’t in it.”

“Sean I-”

Sean held up a hand to stop me before he continued, “Vivienne, what I mean is that well, I love you.”

The sleep was gone then. My eyes widened and I sat up and stared down at Sean who sat upright and stared at me. I opened my mouth then closed it before looking down at my hands. Sean loved me? I swallowed a lump then let my mind process what he had just said. I chewed on my lower lip as I pulled the heavy hotel duvet up to my neck and then glanced back at Sean who was now rubbing the back of his neck.

“Look, I shouldn’t have said anything Lanter,” Sean began, “I mean there’s no pressure if you don’t and well it’s-”

“God Sean,” I breathed before wrapping my arms around his neck, “you may be experience in girls,” I grinned slightly, “but seriously why would you think that I don’t love you especially after last night?”

Sean looked surprised for a moment before a small smile broke across his lips as he leaned closer, “So you love me too?”

I nodded, “Of course I do.”

And then to seal the deal, Sean pulled me into a long kiss.

A/N Hey Geeklings :) How was the chapter? Hopefully much better than the last one and you guys get your satisfaction. Also, was it too detailed at some points, too 'erotic'? I need your feedback! Remember to vote, comment and spread the word if you enjoyed the chapter!
