Alex carried one of Rachelâs unconscious brothers while Joseph carried the other one . The three of them headed towards Rachelâs home . When Alex finally reached the destination he was surprised by what he saw, Rachelâs house was an eastern style dojo and it was huge . A long and huge wooden plaque was hanging outside the dojo, what was written was simply "Ultimate Dojo"
Alex found the plaque quite amusing, someone other than his teacher of hand to hand combat has claimed his martial arts to be the ultimate and is stating it publicly with no shame . He was now a bit excited to find out who the master of the dojo was, it was most probably Rachelâs father .
The three entered the dojo and laid the two unconscious brothers at the side . The entrance to Rachelâs actual house seems to be behind the dojo . When the group walked to the end of the dojo, Alex saw Rachelâs house and it was bigger than what he expected .
The house had a traditional feel to it and was made out of wood or thats how it looked at first glance, but if one inspected it closely the outer layer was made of wood while the inner layer was made of hollow blocks . When the two siblings entered the house what greeted Joseph was a fist heading towards his face, he dodged and countered with a kick . Alex was going to help but noticed Rachel not minding what was happening and simply stood there waiting for the exchange to end .
Joseph knelt on the floor after taking a knee to his abdomen . The one who did this was a tall, beautiful black haired lady she was wearing the same Gi as Joseph and his brothers, but her wearing it emphasized on her womanly assets . She suddenly noticed Alex, her deep black eyes stared at him . Without a moments hesitation she attacked, the attack was so sudden and there were no indications as to what she was about to do .
This attack style was similar to Alexâs unarmed combat master, this was no rhythm . Alex who has trained his reflexes to the very limit of what was humanly possible, was able to dodge in time . The woman seeing Alex able to dodge her serious strike was surprised . Yet Alex wasnât done with just that, he countered . The two exchange a few blows, Joseph and Rachel were surprised at what they saw . Alex was actually able to keep up with that monster!
When Alex noticed that his opponent was starting to get serious, he had determined that he wasnât able to hold back anymore . He looked at Rachel, and for some reason he hesitated, that hesitation cost him and the woman was able to breach his defense, he was still able to dodge but barely . This was the first time in two years that he was almost hit by an opponent . Alex was about ready to fight seriously when he remembered one of his dadâs orders . . . He needed to contact him before using lethal force .
While Alex was thinking of ways to contact his dad Rachel spoke in the middle of the standoff . "Hey mom can we go in already? Iâm hungry . "n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
âMom?!â Alex looked at the young woman in front of him and had cold sweat . This person standing in front of him was the targetâs . . . . Was Rachelâs MOTHER!
"Well alright . . . Just when it was getting interesting . Hey boy whatâs your name?" Rachelâs mother with a rough edgy kind of voice asked Alex .
"Maâam my name is Alexander Maâam!" Alex saluted stiffly .
"Heh . . . You brought an interesting one back home Rachel . So whenâs the wedding?" Rachelâs mother asked as casually as possible . Hearing what her mother said Rachelâs face turned red .
"WE ARE NOT LIKE THAT MOM! HEâS SIMPLY A FRIEND! NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS! GOD!!!" Rachel stormed inside of the house, but before leaving the area Rachel looked at Alexâs face and saw the same unperturbed expression, which made her angrier .
âHow come every time something like this happens Iâm the only one embarrassed?!â As Rachel left with a huff, Rachelâs Mother shrugged . Seeing Alexâs confused expression Rachelâs mother snapped him out of it .
"Hey Alex donât mind her okay . . . Sheâs just a bit shy and embarrassed so donât give up on her . " Alex still not understanding the situation simply nodded his head .
Joseph who had finally recovered from his motherâs earlier attack stood up and patted Alex in the back . "Yeah donât mind that sister of mine brother-in-law . Sheâs been a bit moody lately, must be because of puberty . " Even Joseph was saying such incomprehensible things . Having no idea what was happening Alex just kept on nodding his head .
Rachelâs mother sighed and gripped Alexâs left shoulder with her right hand . "Oh right I forgot to introduce myself Iâm Rachelâs mother Kumiko, if you want you can call me mother as well . " Alex immediately shook his head .
"No thank you . . . Iâll just call you aunt Kumiko . " When Alex said this statement Kumikoâs gripped got tighter, it was so tight it might actually tear Alexâs left shoulder .
"No need to add aunt . Just Kumiko is alright . " Kumiko was smiling at Alex, but her eyes werenât .
"Yes Maâam . . . No I mean Kumiko!" When Alex said Maâam the grip got tighter but when he called Rachelâs mother Kumiko it lessened .
"Good boy . . . By the way Alex why were you holding back awhile ago?" Kumiko looked at Alexâs eyes with her deep black eyes which looked like they could pierce through his very soul . Alex couldnât answer truthfully seeing his reaction, Kumiko released Alexâs shoulders and shrugged .
"Well if you donât want to say, no need to say it . Still as your future mother-in-law I hope to get to know you better . Well you better come in and meet my husband before eating dinner . " At first Alex was confused when even Kumiko called herself his future mother-in-law, but when he heard that he will meet Rachelâs father his thoughts were now focused on that .
First he beat up Rachelâs brothers, next he fought Rachelâs mother to a standstill, next does he have to fight her father as well . This family was as weird as his own, Alex steeled himself as he followed Kumiko and Joseph inside the house .
