Chapter 910 âArent you afraid?â
Olivia gazed at her and walked toward the window. âWhat would I be afraid of? Afraid of death?â
âEveryone is afraid of death.â
Olivia did not deny it and nodded. âYes, but you have other things that youâre afraid of, donât you?
Her tone was calm, but this only frightened Dorothy more.
âI heard that Fabian asked you for a divorce?â
Dorothyâs expression darkened. âHow did you know?â
âHa, you donât like Fabian, but youâre afraid of a divorce because itâs embarrassing.
âAnd youâre afraid of people finding out about your history â all the things youâve done, and all the men youâve slept with.â
As she spoke, Olivia looked at her and said with a chuckle, âDorothy, youâre afraid of so many things, and theyâre all things that are out of your control. Thatâs what makes you so uneasy.â
âThe person youâre working with is probably disappointed in you too. Who knows when theyâre going to abandon you?
âDo you think the Jameson family will go bankrupt if they lose that personâs support? You...â
Olivia deliberately paused. âCould you continue being an heiress? Wonât the status and power you long for collapse overnight?â
Dorothy trembled and looked at her in shock.
âHow did she see through me so clearly?
âDie! This woman must die!â
Dorothy clenched her fists and said through clenched teeth, âSo what?
Youâre still no match for me. Youâre surrounded by burdens-your daughter and your brother. Phoebe, do you know what your weakness is?â
Dorothy said with a grin, â You have people you care about. You care about others too much, so you could never outdo me.â
Olivia could not argue with that.
She was right.
The reason Dorothy was able to do so much damage to her four years ago was that Dorothy was heartlessâshe only cared about herself.
An extremely selfish person could often climb high by stepping on other people.
âOkay, bring it on. Iâm waiting.â
Dorothy knew Fred was still around. Even if she were hurt, he would jump at her if she hurt Phoebe.
She hurt her leg and could not fight against two, so she sneered, turned around in her wheelchair, and left.
âLiv, would you like to leave first?â
Olivia turned to look at Fred calmly. âWhat are you talking about, silly boy? Youâre my brother. Youâre hurt. Where would I go?â
Still, he was glad to see that Liv was braver than ever.
After leaving the ward, Olivia returned to her room.
She was exhausted, and her throat tasted of rust, probably from a relapse of her lung cancer.

She was exhausted, and her throat tasted of rust, probably from a relapse of her lung cancer.
She was probably having such volatile moods because she has been so tired lately.
She called Ken before resting.
âDo me a favor. Send some men to protect the children and Fred. Iâm worried that Dorothy will go after them again.â
Ken sighed. âOkay, donât worry. I wonât let anything happen to them in my hospital. You...â
âDid they find out something? Is it a relapse?â
âNo, but you might really have a relapse if you keep on doing this. Youâd also know if it relapses...â
Olivia pressed her lips together. âI know, so Ken...â
She heaved a sigh of relief and smiled. âIf anything happens to me, please take care of my children, my brother, and Mrs.
Simmons. Iâm not afraid to die. Iâm only afraid that no oneâs going to take care of them.â
Ken could not help cursing, âOlivia, thatâs enough! Donât speak like these are your last words. I donât want to!â
No one wanted to die. Only Olivia lived every day like it was her last.
