Chapter 86 âYeah, thank you for always keeping my parentâs tombstone clean.â
Olivia took out a small envelope and placed it on the table. âJust a small token of appreciation.â
The grave keeper glanced at her and smiled. âYou donât have to do this. I know youâre a girl with filial piety.â
Olivia pursed her lips, and thought about it for a while before she spoke, âOh yea, sir, could you show me the security footage for today please?â
âWhat happened? You lost something?â
âNo, I found a bouquet in front of my momâs tombstone, Iâd like to know who...â
The grave keeper smiled mysteriously. âYou donât have to look at the footage, Miss Larson, because you wonât find anything.â
âWhat did you mean by me not finding anything?â
âThat person isnât in the security footage, also, since two years ago, that person would drop by every year, but they would not let me tell you about it, so I canât.â
Olivia felt erratically nervous. âIs it a man or a woman?
The grave keeper placed the water bottle he held in his hand down, shook his head, and said, âI canât say anything.â
Since the grave keeper did not budge, Olivia could only give up. She nodded her head as a sign of gratitude, walked out, got into a taxi, and left the cemetery.
Her bets were on John, but based on his attitude, she no longer thought so.
Could it be lan?
It was also coincidentally two years!
Halfway through the journey, Olivia felt a little dizzy. She frowned, held her head, and wanted to wind. down the window, only to fi nd it tightly shut. â
She tapped the taxi driver on the shoulder. âSir, could you please.... Wind the windows a little?â
âWeâre almost there, Miss, please bear with me for a little longer.â
âIâm having motion sickness...â
âI have the airâconditioning on in the car. It would be a waste if I wind down the windows.â
Olivia gave up. She leaned back on the car seat, looked out the window, and felt like this was not the road. leading back to the Cliffside Villa. So, she asked, âSir, did you take the wrong turn?â
âNo, weâre heading to the Kingâs Club.â
The Kingâs Club?
âNo, Iâm supposed to head back home.â
Unfortunately, the driverâs sinister chuckle rang in her ear and she hear him say, âMiss, someone asked me to send you to the Ki ngâs Club. They also asked me to inform you to go to Room 1035 if you want the seventy million.â
What?
Olivia cradled her aching head and had just realized that she fell into a scheme, and she was drugged!
It must be Dorothy Ellis!
âWho said that?â
âIt was Mr. Freeman.â
What?
Johnny?
Even in her muddled state, her heart dropped.
She knew she could not ask for too much, but for Johnny to do this, was it not too much?
What did he think the Kingâs Club was?
She knew that it was a place for the rich of Ocean City to spend on, and it was a place that provided all kinds of services. For her to be drugged like that, she was clear about the kind of âserviceâ
her.
As the taxi came to a stop, Olivia tried to open the car door to escape, only to find that the driver had locked the door. It was impo Two men in black walked toward the taxi, and finally, the driver opened the door.
Alas, Olivia did not have the chance to escape before she was grabbed by two men in black and dragged straight into the Kingâs C âLet go of me! This is kidnapping! This is illegal!â
Sadly, Olivia was already weak. In addition to her being drugged, there was no chance at all for her to retaliate.
The two bodyguards merely repeated this sentence. âThis is Mr. Freemanâs orders, Mrs. Freeman. Wel apologize.â
Johnny...
Olivia was thrown into Room 1035 in a dazed state.
The person inside was not John Freeman, neither was it another man, but a lot of men!
They watched Olivia get thrown into the room and someone asked, âHey! Is this the new girl?â
Another person caught Olivia and teased, âIsnât this Mrs. Freeman? What a generous man Mr. Freeman is to allow us to give his w
