Chapter 692 Ian glanced at Olivia before finally looking at Dorothy.
âWhat are you doing here? You are not welcome here!â
âIan, I was your sister for two years after all. Thereâs a woman who looks exactly like Liv. Iâm sure youâre wondering if sheâs your sister, right?â
Ian snorted coldly. âDonât make it sound so intimate. Weâre not that close.â
âItâs only for your good, Ian.â
âOh, come on. Is it for my own good too when you killed my parents and interfered with my sisterâs marriage?â
Seeing Ian was not buying it, Dorothyâs expression looked a little ghastly as she pushed the door open. âI have a recording you must listen to.â
âDorothy, what are you trying to do? Youâve destroyed the Larson family, and youâre still unsatisfied.â
However, Dorothy ignored him. She forced him down on the couch and played the recording.
âZac, drink your soup.â
It was Oliviaâs voice.
Zac asked as he turned the pages of his book. âOkay. Why are you still up?â
âI probably slept a little too much during the day. I canât sleep.â
Then came the sound of a wheelchair turning.
âLiv, are you still thinking about Jennie?â
âNo, Iâm a little worried about Ian. Will he hate me?â
The recording stopped there, and Ian looked at Olivia suspiciously as if he was trying to tell the truth from her expression.
âWell? Are you surprised? Are you curious?â
Dorothy held the phone and looked at Olivia with a smile. âOlivia, whatâs it like to lie to your brother and drag out an ignoble existence for four years?â
Olivia looked flustered. She trembled and kept her mouth shut.
âThe conversation happened in the study at home. How did it end up with Dorothy?
âAre we bugged?â
âWhatâs the matter? Cat caught your tongue?â
Dorothy walked up to her. âYes, what can you say now that the evidence is overwhelming?â
Ian stared straight at her and asked, âAre you my sister? Are you?â
Olivia felt a pang in her heart and gasped. She was even scared to breathe.
She had a feeling that she would expose herself if she took one breath.
To stay calm, she dug her nails deep into the flesh and used the pain to force herself to sober up.
Dorothy pinched her arm and said through clenched teeth, âAre you still holding on?
Deny it if you dare.â
Olivia glanced at Ian, bit her lip, and shook Dorothy off. âMs. Jones, youâre interesting!
You tricked me all the way here to make me admit Iâm Olivia Larson with a recording from nowhere?â
Then she sneered, âIf Iâm Olivia, why wouldnât I admit it? And why would I let you laugh at me for being nothing more than a substitute?â
âBecause you wouldnât dare!â
âWhy wonât I?â
âYou killed someone!â Dorothyâs eyes widened. âYou killed someone four years ago!
You even killed two! Youâre still a murderer!â
Oliviaâs mouth twitched. She knew Dorothy was forcing her to admit that she was Olivia to put her back in prison.
âHa, I get it now.â
She looked at Dorothy and said with a sneer, âYou went to all this trouble to get me away from Zac, right?
âYou offered me money to leave, but I refused. So youâre using this dirty trick to send me to jail as Olivia, right?â
Ianâs expression changed. As he had thought of something, he pushed Dorothy away.
âDorothy, if my sister is a murderer, what are you?â
