Chapter 647 âMrs. Simmons, help me bathe him.â
âHuh?â
Mrs. Simmons froze slightly before looking at John and then Olivia.
She did not like him, but he used to be Oliviaâs husband, and it seemed inappropriate for her to help him bathe.
Seeing her in a dilemma, Olivia said with a smile, âForget it. Iâll do it myself. Make me some tea so that we can all have some later.â
âAlright, Iâll work on it right away.â
Olivia walked over to him and stared at him. âArenât you angry that Mrs. Simmons scolded you?â
âDo you believe me if I say Iâm not?â
Olivia shrugged. âYes, because you donât have the strength to argue right now. So you can only suffer.â
With that said, she leaned over, yanked him out of the chair, and helped him into the bathroom.
âUndress and wash yourself.â
âIâm so dizzy I might fall into the bathtub.â
When you help someone, go all the way.
Olivia helped him undress, stuffed him into the bathtub, and washed his hair with shampoo.
âWhatâs wrong with you?â
âDid Ken not tell you?â
âHe told me to ask you myself. He said itâs the after-effects of the car accident and overworking. But I donât believe overworking can be that serious.â
John smiled. âWhat do you think it is?â
âHow should I know? Iâm not a doctor.â
She suddenly remembered John had asked her about what she would do if he became terminally ill.
Some fear crept into his heart.
âIs it cancer?â
John smiled. âWould you be more gentle with me if I had cancer?â
Olivia looked down at him. His biceps were still strong, and his back and shoulders were full and elastic. .He did not like someone with cancer.
However, it could also be that it was not that serious because it was not terminal.
âIf you get cancer, Iâd call it karma.â
John felt a pang of bitterness in his heart when he heard this. He had indeed become a nobody to her.
Then he said indifferently, âItâs not cancer. Donât worry. Itâs just a concussion. I need some rest.â
âConcussion?â
âYeah.â
Neither of them spoke again after that.
After exposing that she was Olivia, she was not shy about bathing him..
What part of him had she not seen anyway?
However, when she saw the ferocious scar on his chest, her heart twitched suddenly. The past was vivid.
She ran her hand gently over his scar, âDoes it still hurt?â
John froze slightly and said calmly, âIt doesnât hurt. Itâs already recovered.â
Seeing that she was still staring at the scar, he reached up to grab her hand before covering the scar.â Donât look. You went easy on me with the stab, didnât you?â
Olivia froze and withdrew her hand. âNo, I didnât plan to let you live.â
âWes said he saved me in time because someone alerted him. The doctor told him that if it hadnât been discovered in time, I might not have survived. Were you the one who alerted Wes?â
âHa.â Olivia sneered. âIs that a joke? Have you ever seen an enemy help call an ambulance when they want revenge?â
With that said, she got up. âThatâs enough. Soak in the bath for a while more. Make sure youâre warm before you come out.â
âYouâre leaving?â
Olivia ignored him.
John panicked and reached for her, and she slipped and fell into the bathtub.
âAh!â
The two suddenly got into intimate contact.
