Chapter 431 Zac froze for a few minutes before he realized what Olivia had just said. He looked at Olivia incredulously and asked, âLiv, did you just say you stabbed John?â
Olivia chuckled when she saw the bewildered expression on Zacâs face. âWhy? Do you think I donât have the guts?â
She took another puff. Then, she looked out the window. Her gaze looked desperate yet relieved. âI didnât just stab John. I hit Dorothy with a car too.â
âLiv...â
Zac was speechless for a moment. He did not know what to say.
He was partly shocked and worried, but mostly, he felt sorry for her.
Suddenly, he stooped doto pick her up. Without waiting for her to react, he sprinted downstairs.
âZac, what are you doing?â
Zacâs expression was cold, and his voice sounded firm. âIâm taking you away.â
Zyla had asked him to take Olivia away from this place, but he refused because he did not want to force. Olivia to do something she did not want to do.
As a result, his decision killed Zyla, which led to the current situation.
He must not turn his back on Olivia now His only job now was to send her away from this place safely âZac, donât do that. Put me down.â
Zac put her in the car, stepped on the accelerator, and sped out of the hospital.
âLiv, donât worry. Iâll take care of things here. Iâll send you abroad now. When things are over, you can come back to visit lan.â
âDonât worry,â He said softly. âI will take good care of lan and make sure he grows up healthily I will send you videos of him regularly.â
âZac.â
âItâs too late to book a ticket. Iâll send someone to fly you out of the country directly. You donât have to worry about money and accommodation because Iâll arrange everything for you. After I settle everything here, Iâll visit you there.â
Olivia looked at Zacâs nervous reaction and felt terrible. She shouted, âZac!â
âLiv...â
âZac, donât do this. It will ruin your life. Youâre a lawyer. You can do this.â
Zac was a prestigious lawyer and the young master of the Quinton family. He was still the noble son of the Quinton family, no matter his relationship with his family.
He had a bright future ahead of him, and she did not want to be a burden on him.
Zac stopped the car and looked panicked, unlike his usual self. âOlivia, you have terminal lung cancer, and your leg is injured. I canât let you go to prison. You will die.â
Olivia reached out and held his hand. âZac, you have saved me countless times, but please let me be this time, okay?â
âAbsolutely not! Olivia, you have to go this time I wonât give you a choice here.â
âZac.â
His expression turned gloomy as he snapped, âJust take it as me not respecting your decision. Iâm going to make you do this.â
Then, he pulled over in the garage and started calling people to fly a helicopter over.
Olivia said nothing and got out of the car obediently He immediately picked her up when he saw her getting out of the car. âLiv, Iâm not giving you any opportunity to slip away.â
Looking at Zacâs panicked state, she felt bad. It was her who dragged him into this.
When she entered the house, she bit her lip and said, âDonât worry. I wonât run. Iâll listen to you. Donât be angry.â
Zac was startled upon hearing that. âReally?â
âOf course. I know you want whatâs best for me, and I wonât do anything silly.â
Zac believed her partially when he saw her sincere expression. He put her on the sofa and asked, âWhere is your ID? Iâll get it for you. Wilbur will come and pick you up at the airport laterâ
She gulped and grabbed his arm. âZac, letâs have a drink.â
Before he could refuse, she added, âJust one glass. We may not see each other for a long time.â
After hesitating for a few seconds, he nodded. âOkay.â
When Zac brought two glasses of wine to her, Olivia stood up and hugged him, sobbing. âZac, thank you.â
