Chapter 377 âWhat can I do for you?â
Olivia shook her head. âYou have helped me enough. Iâm afraid it will hurt you if you get involved too much in this matter.â
She suddenly remembered Jimmyâs matter. She looked at Zac, worried, as she asked, âIâm a little worried about you. The Jameson familyâs matter is scaring me...â
When Olivia lifted her head, she noticed the wound on Zacâs face and frowned. âWhat happened to your face?â
Suddenly, she remembered Johnâs words and asked, âDid John do it?â
Zac looked away and said, âNothing. I accidentally bumped into something.â
âYouâre lying.â Olivia turned his face around and looked at his slightly swollen cheek. He even had a wound on his forehead. She pulled him to the sofa nearby and said sternly, âSit down.â
Then, she turned around and took out the first aid kit. She rubbed some medicine on his wound and put a plaster on it.
âLie to me one more time, and Iâll never speak to you again.â
Zac felt warm and smiled. âItâs just a slight injury. Donât act so serious.â
âIâm serious about this.â Olivia looked at Zac seriously. âIâm not joking.â
Zac stopped smiling and nodded. âOkay. I know, but Johnâs bodyguardâs injuries are worse than mine. He might be in the hospital now.â
âHospital?â
âWell, I practice kickboxing, but I donât usually use it.â
Then, he looked proudly at Olivia, expecting to be praised.
Unexpectedly, Olivia glanced at him. âI donât think youâre that great at it. Maybe you should practice more.â
Zac was speechless.
Olivia chased Zac out of the ward after applying medicine to his wound.
âYou can leave. You donât have to be here.â
âYouâre not well, and you need to rest. We donât know when sheâll wake up...â
âZac, I know you mean well, but youâre busy, arenât you? You didnât sleep well last night. Have a good rest today. Donât push yourself. Iâll have to take care of you if you are exhausted.â
He had no choice but to get up and leave.
After everyone left, Olivia tried to look at the time on her phone.
However, what she saw was the photo of her carrying Zyla in the elevator.
The worst part was the title of the news. [The woman in the photo committed suicide out of shame.]
How much money had these reporters received? They were trying to put Zyla in a terrible situation and break her down.
Then, she looked at the lawyerâs letter on the table as her anger grew.
She could not wait anymore!
However, she was afraid Zyla would do something irrational if no one was watching her, so she called Fred.
âFred, do you have time? I want to ask you for a favor.â
Fred was surprised to receive the call. âMs. Larson? Yes, Iâm free.â
âCome to the city hospital, will you?â
âNo problem. What floor are you on? Iâll be right there.â
Olivia told Fred her location, and he arrived there in a while. When Fred saw Zyla on the bed, he was startled and asked, âYou need me to take care of Ms. Jones?â
âWell, just keep an eye on her for me. Iâm afraid sheâll wake up and do something silly.â
Fred nodded. âNo problem. Leave it to me. But Ms. Larson, where are you going?â
âTo run a few errands. Iâll be back soon. Iâll leave Zyla to you.â
âOkay.â
Olivia got into her car outside the hospital and called the police as she drove to Dorothyâs apartment.
âOfficer, I know who the culprit is. Iâve sent you the addressâ
After she hung up the call, she stepped on the accelerator. âDorothy, just you wait!â
