Chapter 300 âWhat... What happened here?â
Fred asked with a frown when he suddenly saw the mess on the ground.
âNothing.â Olivia came to herself and looked up at Fred to realize the blood on his shirt. She hurriedly asked, âWhatâs with the blood on your shirt? Are Then she patted Zyla. âZy, go get a doctor.â
you hurt?â
Zyla nodded and was about to turn when she heard Fred laugh. âDonât worry, Ms. Larson. None of this is my blood.â
âNot yours?â
âYeah, these belong to the grave robbers. I told you. Iâm a martial arts champion. I can easily defeat a few thugs.â
Fred paused. âBy the way, I also asked them who was behind it.â
Olivia sneered and said nothing.
After all, Dorothy had already admitted it. The only thing that made her curious was why it had taken so long for her to show off this time.
When neither of them said anything, Zyla could not help asking, âWho was it?â
Fred slapped his head. âSorry, I didnât ask that. They said they didnât know who it was, only that it was a woman.â
âA woman?â Zyla narrowed her eyes, snorted coldly, and said. âIt must be Dorothy.â
Besides Dorothy, she could not think of a second woman who would dig other peopleâs graves.
Outside the door, John exuded a cold aura and immediately turned around to call Wes after hearing Dorothyâs name.
âFind Dorothy!â
It was his fault for giving her too much trust that she would do such a monstrous thing!
Then John added, âI want you to look carefully into what happened two years ago.â
He had no choice but to doubt everything now.
In the room, Olivia suddenly said, âFred, leave this matter alone. Go get changed and get some rest.â
With that said, she took a bank card out of her bag. âThereâs one hundred thousand dollars here for you. Itâs not much though.â
Fred pushed her hand away. âMs. Larson, I donât need your money. Youâve helped me enough. Itâs my job.â
âBut your sister needs money for her treatment.â
âMs. Larson, you forgot that Dr. Lucas has exempted my fees. I can cover my living expenses with some odd jobs.â
Fred added again, âBesides, youâre my savior, Ms. Larson. Give me a chance to repay you, okay?â
Olivia withdrew the card and smiled. âOkay, Iâd be a bit of a hypocrite if I were any more forceful.â
Fred breathed a sigh of relief. âI gotta go. Call me if you need me.â
Looking at his back, Olivia said again, âThank you, Fred. Thank you for saving my parents.â
Fred paused and said with a smile. âDonât mention it.â
It was only after Fred left that Zyla realized it. âDid that b*tch Dorothy have someone dig up Uncle and Auntâs graves?â
Olivia nodded. âYeah. Otherwise, I wouldnât have gone to the rooftop to see her.â
âThat b*tch! Does she even have a heart?â
Olivia did not respond to that. After all, Dorothy was a viper-a viper that bit its benefactors.
After a while, she dialed Zacâs number.
âZac, can you find the forensic scientist who did Uncle Wallaceâs autopsy?â
Zac froze slightly. âYes, whatâs the matter?â
âCan you help me find him? I want him to examine my motherâs body.â
âYour mother?â Zac was confused for a moment. âDo you want to open the coffin and examine the corpse?â
âYeah, her bodyâs right downstairs.â
