Chapter 5: The Mysteries solved

The bell rang and I tried to get all my stuff into my bag as fast as I could so I could catch up with the mystery girl. When I got all of my supplies into my bag and stood up she was gone. I went out the door of the classroom and saw Adora talking to the brunette. When I looked closer I got mad Adora's hand was on her shoulder and the girl was okay with that. She was supposed to be mine. I turned around and started to walk away when I heard running footsteps. I turned around to see my crush, tht beautiful brunette running away from Adora as fast as she could. I wanted to walk up to Adora and shake her to knock some sense into her for scaring a beautiful girl away and I also wanted to know why the girl ran from her. I decided on the latter, but when I started to walk towards her Bow and Glimmer came out of the classroom and grabbed onto her shoulders and walked away with her. I decided to head to gym class and find the cute brunette at lunch.

Adoras pov

I was walking with Bow and Glimmer telling them what had happened as they tried to comfort me. "Maybe she just didn't want to tell you where she was from because she was afraid that you might think less of her "Bow told me. "OR she's just mean" Glimmer chipped in. "We are supposed to be ConFoRTinG her Glimmer. Not making her think she did something happen wrong or that this new friend of ours is a jerk. Bow almost yelled at Glimmer. "NOT a friend of ours". "She WILL be when we meet her, maybe she will even be a part of the best friends club." Bow tells her. The best friends club is a thing Bow made when I met him 5 years ago and consists of me, Bow, and Glimmer. "NO SHE WILL NOT" Glimmer yells at Bow. "Ya know that might not be such a bad idea." *gasp from Glimmer* "I wouldn't be the third wheel anymore." I tell them ignoring Glimmer. "Okay I am SO happy that you agree with me, bit Adora you're not the third wheel we all hang out together as equals." Bow tells me with a bright smile on his face. "Yeah" I say before chuckling nervously "equals''. I turn to look at a sad Glimmer looking at the floor like she has something to say to both of us not just Bow. We continued walking towards me and Glimmer's next class, math and and she kept the same look on her face. Bow and I gave each other a worried glance before asking Glimmer "you okay". She looked up at us and said "Umm yeah there's just this party today and I was wondering if you guys would go with me". Yeah of course what time does it start and where is it". Bow told her then looked at me. "Yeah sure" I said before asking "What's the party for''. Glimmer says "the party's for the first day back to school and I'll text you the info.'' "wait it is after 4:00 right" I ask. ''yeah why'' Glimmer asks me. ''cause today is tryout for football and track.'' I tell them as if they should know. "You still have to try out, but you're the fastest person in the school, '' Glimmer tells me. I nod at her statement, sigh and say "Yeah I know it sucks." Our classroom comes up and we say bye to Bow before we head in. I was hoping to see the brunette in the back of the class but I didn't. Glimmer must have noticed the look of disappointment because she asked me "you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine'' I told her. "What's wrong?" She said not giving up. *Sigh" "she's not here." I told her. "Who?" She asked me. "The mystery girl" I told her.

Irrelevants pov

Adora, that dumb blonde asked me where I was from and instead of acting cool I ran in the other direction. I am now sitting in the girls bathroom.

Having a panic attack. So that's great. I was sitting on the floor breathing heavy and thinking about that horrible school and all the horrible things I did there because I had to. All of a sudden a girl walks in. She had snow white hair cut short. It looked cute. She was really tall and buff, It made her look scary. She was coming towards me. Coming closer, I couldn't fight right now so I was a goner. Or so I thought until she hugged me. She hugged me tight and said "Hey hey don't cry. Tell me what's wrong and I'll see what I can do" I didn't even realize but at the time I was crying. Dang it now she's going to think I'm weak. I couldn't speak and I was still freaking out. The girl never stopped hugging me. I didn't like hugs but I couldn't do anything about it or anything really. I could cry, flich,blink, and breathe heavily.After 30 minutes I calmed down,stopped crying and my breathing went back to normal and I finally talked to her. "What is your name?" *Gasp* "your okay and you talked.'' "yeah I'm fine now answer my question." I snapped at her. "Oh my name is Scorpia what's yours?" She said. "Irrelevant is my name." I said flatly. "If you don't want to tell me that's cool but what happened." She asked me with a hint of concern in her voice. "Panic attack," I told her. She smiled oddly at me and said "Well I'm happy you're okay." Well that makes one of us. "Oo can I see your schedule?" she asks me. "Why" I respond. "I want to see if we have any classes together." I hand her my schedule and hear a gasp. "We have music together" she says over enthusiastically."mkay" I say and she hands me back my schedule. "We should probably get to class" I tell her though I have no intention of going to the one I had right now. Freaking math. "Yeah okay" she stood up and we headed towards the door and walked out. "It was nice to meet you irrelevant" she said looking at me. "The feeling is mutual" I tell her. She smiled and then headed in the opposite direction of me. I head up to the roof and sit on the edge looking at the parking lot and the city. It was in situations like this where I am at peace or at least feel at peace. I take a deep breath and slowly exhale it. I look at my schedule as I hear the bell ring. "Language arts I can do that on" I mumble to myself. I open the door to the roof and go down the stairs and head to class.

Adoras pov

The brunette did not show up to math class at all and I got even more worried about her and if I did something wrong or said something wrong. The bell rang and I practically ran to my next class in hopes to see the girl, but I arrived before anybody else so I took my seat and waited. The classroom slowly filled but still no signs of the brunette anywhere. When the teacher came in and the late bell rang I let out a sigh and started paying attention. I was in the middle of reading the legend of she-ra because that was our assignment when I heard a voice say my name. "Hey Adora". I turn my head to the once empty seat next to me to see the brunette smirking and looking at me. "I'm so sorry I didn't know it was a touch subject for you. I just wanted to know more about you since you wouldn't tell us your name or any-" I was cut off. "I'll tell you my name at lunch, how about that?" she said. "Really what about all my friends?" I asked her. "Whatever, bit you have to promise me something" she tells me. "What is it?" I ask her. "You have to promise me you won't treat me differently when you find out what my name is" she said with a worried look on her face. "I promise" I told her and flashed a reassuring smile. "Good cause you're the only friend I got." She says looking at me. I smiled at the word friend and said "so we are friends now". "As far as I'm concerned yes and don't make a big deal out of this." I went back to reading my book as she started it, but for some reason I kept glancing at her. I don't know but I just couldn't keep my eyes off her or more so I didn't want to look away from her and her stunning beauty. Her beautiful mismatched eyes one a turquoise color the other an amber color. The way her hair looked like a name or the way she looked absolutely amazing in black and In leather. No Adora your not gay right. No you're not. You're straight. I went back to my reading, stealing a glance of her every now and then. The bell rang and we got up and started to pack up. By the time I was done she was headed for the door. I ran to catch up to her and asked her "You want to walk to class together?" "It's not like I have a choice right?" she replied. I started laughing and then said " No you dont." "Allright lead the way princess" She told me, making a gesture with her hands causing me to laugh even more. "Princess?" Glimmer said looking at us. "Yeah it's my nickname for her sparkles" the brunette said. "SPARKLES my name is Glimmer" she yells at the brunette. "Well I'm calling you Sparkles" she says cooly not phased by the angry Glimmer."Allright whatever lets go Adora" Glimmer says turning to look at me. "Actually I was going to walk with her" I pointed at the brunette. Glimmer's eyes widen and she practically yells "We always walk to class together." "Well she's walking with me sparkles" She tells Glimmer and then grabs my hand and practically drags me to the next class, I looked at our interlocked hands and felt my face heat up. We arrived at our class and she let go of my hand and said "Well here we go". She walked into the room and was immediately grabbed and put into a hug. "Hey there" a familiar voice says. I look up and see her the giant with white hair. "Hey scorpia" I say back. "You're crushing me" I look over and see the brunette struggling to get out of her grasp. I start chuckling as Scorpia says "I'm sorry" and sets her on the ground. We all go take our seats next to each other as class starts.

Irrelavents pov

Music class seemed to drag on as the teacher told us what we would be doing. I kept looking up at the clock 50 minutes left, then 40, then 30. When there was around 25 minutes left the teacher said these exact words "All Right Now everyone is going to sing a chorus to a song they know whoever does not get a turn will go tomorrow and yes they have to be school appropriate". When she said that I panicked I never sang in front of someone before so I was nervous. I had no idea what song I was going over some options. No friends by Cadmium, Mad world by Gary Jules, or Monsters by Katie Sky. Then I thought of the perfect song for me. She called Adora and Scorpia up. Adora sang Brave by Sara Bareilles and sounded amazing while Scorpia sang Welcome to Wonderland by Anson Seabra and sounded amazing as well. She called more people up and then she pointed at me and said "it's your turn Irrelevant" earning a few snickers from the kids. Adora gave me a smile and Scorpia gave me a thumbs up before I got up and went to the front of the class and took a deep breath. I looked at the teacher and she nodded her head signaling that I could start. I took another deep breath and started.

I could hear a few murmurs from the class but continued anyway

I heard people gasp and someone even started crying. I didn't know who because I was singing with my eyes closed

I opened my eyes and saw a room full of shocked faces and tears. I looked at my teacher who was stunned and sat down. Adora and Scorpia looked at me and then asked "Are you okay". "Yeah I'm fine guys honestly" I told them and class continued.

Time skip to Lunch

Adoras pov

I was sitting with Bow, Glimmer and the rest of the gang at the lunch table waiting for the brunette who said that she had something to do. I was talking to them about music class and about the brunettes and Scorpias performances and how they sounded amazing when I heard a voice. "Hey Adora" I turned to see the brunette standing next to me. She took a seat next to me and said "sup sparkles" making Glimmer mad. She turned to me and said "Going to introduce us". "Oh yeah sorry this is Glimmer, Bow, Perfuma, Frosta, Mermista, Sea Hawk." "So Sparkles, Crop top, Flower perfume,Ice-cube, mermaid, and animal hybrid" She said with a smirk on her face. "I like you" Mermista said, causing Sea Hawk to cry. "I can tell this is the start of something beautiful" the brunette says. "You never told us your name" Perfuma said with a hint of annoyance in her voice which rarely happened. Glimmer butted in and said "She's going to say that her name is irrelevant". "Actually i'll tell you my name if you promise not to treat me differently" the brunette said. Everyone nodded her head and Mermista said "You got it Mystery girl". This caused the brunette to chuckle before saying "My name.... My name is-" She was cut off by someone saying hey and taking a seat next to us."Hey Scorpia" I said. ''What's going on the" Scorpia said, "She was going to tell us her name" I told her. She gasped and awaited for the brunette to finish her sentence.

She continued her sentence "My name is"

So how was that chapter? It took me a while to write but I think it turned out great so tell me what you thought in the comments.Also sorry for all the songs but you should listen to them all if you haven't heard them already. As for Scorpia and Adoras songs that they sang in the class I couldn't think of anything better so if you have suggestions tell me because I may have them sing again and tell me suggestions for other characters as well soooooo. Anyways bye.
