Chapter 10: Security footage

TW swearing and Adora saying she is going to kill Rachel repeatedly. Also this chapter is kinda odd?? I guess?

Catra pov

I woke up and screamed. I looked around and had no idea where I was. The last thing I remember from last night was being in a shot contest with Rachel. "Oh my God did I black out or was I kidnapped" I started to freak out when I heard a voice say "Yes you have been kidnapped by me" I screamed again and curled up into a ball. I then heard laughter. Who the hell would think this is funny. "Wow you really fell for it" I looked over to see Sparkles laughing. "You freaking sparkling disaster where am I". She looked at me like was stupid and said " my house" I was shocked and said "wait WHAT when did this happen." She looked at me concerned and said "Catra what is the last thing you remember". "The last thing I remember was being in a shot contest with Rachel" I told her. Sparkles mouth dropped open and her eyes widened. I started laughing because she looked stupid. "You're serious," she asked me. "Yeah why" I said. "You have a lot to catch up on. luckily me and DT have the power of security cameras." She said I was so confused but I just nodded my head. She dragged me into another room where everyone was except Adora. Sparkles sat me down on the floor and ran back into the kitchen where I woke up at. She came out with a pot and a metal spatula and started hitting them together. "Bang bang bang" everyone woke up with a groans except Rachel who was still asleep. "Why would you do that Glimmer" Crop top yelled at her. "To wake you up duh and there is ibuprofen in the bathroom and water in the kitchen." She yelled. Just as she said that I realized I had a throbbing pain in my head. I walked into the bathroom and came out with the bottle of Ibuprofen and put two in everyone's hand. We all went into the kitchen and got glasses of water and took the pills.

I went back into the living room and went next to Rachel. "WAKE UP STUPID'' I yelled in Rachel's ear. She didn't wake up so I tried again "WAKE UP STUPID". She started to stir and opened her eyes. "Hey Catra~" she says. "Hey sleepyhead" I tell her. I grab the ibuprofen bottle I left in the kitchen along with a cup of water and bring it over to her. "Here for your headache" I tell her. She nodes her head and takes the medicine and then says "thanks". I nod my head back and forth "No need for thanks your my friend" I tell her. Sparkles comes in and yells "Everyone get in your cars we're going to DT's." "Ugh whyy" Mermista asks. "To look at the security footage" Sparkles says, overly happy. Entrapta says "makes sense because if my data is correct and it is most of us blacked out so this will let us see the events that happened last night" We all just kinda nod our heads in agreement. "Wait" I say. Everyone turns around and looks at me "What about Adora" I ask. Sparkles and Crop top start to laugh as they say "We totally forgot about Adora." Sparkles says "She is in her room you can go wake her up." She pointed up the stairs at a door. I walk up the stairs and knock. There is no response so I open the door and see Adora sleeping. I walk over there and shake her awake. She groans and says "Fuck you Rachel shes mine" and punches me in the face.

Glimmers pov

Me and the gang we're all talking about what we remember last night when I heard Adora yell something and Catra scream. I ran up the stairs and into Adoras room only to see her in a head lock and Catra with a swollen eye."What is going on here" I yell. "I woke Adora up and she punched me in the face". Catra pointed at her swollen eye. "I said I was sorry, please let me go" Adora pleaded. "Fine," Catra says, letting Adora go. Adora ran over to me and hid behind me. I sigh and say "Alright guys let's go". "Go where" Adora asked. "DT's". "Whyy" Adora whined. I get a devious smile on my face and said "To look at the security footage of course because most of us have no idea what happened last night." Adora groaned and we all walked downstairs.

Rachel's pov

Adora, Glimmer, and Catra walked down the stairs. Catra and Glimmer went ahead of Adora to put in their shoes and such, but Adora stayed behind and gave me the death glare. Great, she remembers what happened last night so I am dead. She glared at me until Bow yelled "Adora get ready we are going." She walked away still looking at me like she wanted me dead. "Let's go everybody chop chop I want my daily dose of DRAMA."DT says as they go outside. Everybody else got up and went outside. I saw Adora talking to Catra and my heart hurt. She said she didn't want me so why should I stay. I got in my mustang and before anyone could say anything I started my car and backed up hoping I wouldn't hit anyone. Nobody came chasing me thankfully. I blocked Catra's phone number and decided I would talk to her when I was ready. I cried myself home and decided I should move.

Catra's pov

Adora was asking me about what I remember from last night and if she could ride with me to DT's when Rachel drove off without even trying to avoid anyone. I started to chase after her but soon realized it was useless because she wanted to be alone. I started to cry. I sat down and curled up into a ball on the floor. I tried to call her but I had been blocked. I was shocked "She blocked me. SHE FUCKING BLOCKED ME" I yelled. Adora walked up to me and hugged me. I could see Sparkles and Crop Top giving each other concerned glares but I didn't know why. Adora pulled away and said "You'll be okay without her right." I nodded my head but I knew I was lying because I had known Rachel my whole Life pretty much so a part of me was always miss her, but I had new friends now. And someone I could lean.

Adora's pov

I was going to kill her. I was going to find her and kill her. She had just left and Catra was a mess. She was curled up in a ball on the sidewalk in front of Glimmers house. AND to make matters worse she BLOCKED Catra. BLOCKED HER! I tried to comfort her and I think that I helped but I'm not sure because she doesn't like to show her emotions or so I've noticed. Glimmer told us all to get in the cars, so me, Bow, Glimmer, Frosta, and DT rode in Glimmer's car. Catra with Lonnie rode on her motorcycle while Scorpia, Entrapta, Perfuma, Sea Hawk, Mermista, Netossa, Spinnerella, Kyle, and Rogelio. I was jealous of Lonnie because I wanted to ride with Catra but Lonnie already asked because she knew that Scorpia's van would be full. We started towards DT's house.

Time skip to DT's house

We pulled up to DT's house. Their yard was half black because if I recall correctly Sea Hawk lit something on fire, threw it, and it exploded causing the neighbors car to explode and then he found gasoline and poured it in the yard and struck a match, dropped it, causing it to light on fire.

"Alright the security footage is down here" DT said as he brought us into this room and then into a side room off of that room. It was filled with a computer screen for every room minus the bathrooms. They went up to it and re winded it to when we showed up.

Time skip about 30 minutes

Catra's pov

Me and Rachel were singing Bad Romance by Lady Gaga which was our song. I started crying and Adora came up to me and started rubbing my back to try and calm me down. I was looking at the screen and I gasped. "W-W-WHAT SHE K-KISSED ME!" I yelled. "Oh if you thought that was good just wait until later Kitten~" DT said to me. I continued to watch the tape as a bunch of us ran upstairs and outside. Scorpia told me she liked me and Lonnie told me she had a girlfriend. I turned around to face Lonnie and say "I think you deserve a congrats from me when I am not drunk". She laughs and says "Thanks man". We both turn are attention back to the monitors as we hear Adora screams "No freaking way this bitch kissed MY kitten and for that she will pay". Everyone starts laughing. "Y-YOUR Kitten" I say in between laughs. "I was drunk leave me alone" Adora says putting her bottom lip out fake pouting. Then Adora and I gasp as we all see we knock out Adora and Rachel with one punch each. "So thats why the last thing I remember is me hitting Rachel because Catra knocked me out" Adora says looking at me. "Hey the last thing I remembered was being in the third shot contest with Rachel" I say putting my hands up. We all looked back and saw that me and Sparkles were putting their body's in her car. "That's it, sadly folkes" DT says as we drive away. "Now back to my house for the rest of the night" Sparkles yelled. We all got back in the same vehicles as we came here on and drove back to Sparkles house.

Time skip to Glimmer's house

Glimmers pov

We pulled up to my house and went inside. I took them into my moms room and then into a side room of her room and we saw the setup when the security footage was recorded. I hit rewind until I saw me , Catra, and my mom bringing Adora and Rachel in. I hit play and we began to watch

20 minutes later

Hey Catra why don't you go" Scorpia says on the camera. Catra shruggs her shoulders and says " 1 I am gay 2 I can play the keyboard and 3 I am in a relationship. I said "thats easy". "Well if its so easy answer it then" Catra says as she sticks out her tongue. "3 is a lie" I tell her. "WRONG" Catra yells at me. "2 is a lie I can play the Guitar, sing, but Kyle is the one who plays the keyboard" She says pointing at Kyle who is smiling. I look over at Catra who has an awkward smile on her face and then at Adora who looks like her heart got crushed, then ran over by a train, and then set on fire. I looked at her and felt really bad. At least she didn't tell her and get rejected.Then I went " 1 I have a crush 2 I can teleport 3 I want to go against Catra in a drink contest." Catra laughs and says "2 is a lie and you're on sparkles". I ran into the kitchen and came out with a bottle of Jack Daniels. We all went into the kitchen as Frosta explained the rules. "Okay the rules are 11 shots whoever drinks them the fastest wins if you puke you lose" She says. "Ready set GO" Frosta yells as we began drinking. Catra had drinken a lot more than I had. It was kinda depressing honestly. Catra was way ahead of me and everyone was chanting "CATRA CATRA CATRA". Catra finished and I had the 'I wanna throw up' look on my face mostly because I did. "I have taken vike oer firty shots roday." Catra yells her words starting to slur."Frosta laughs and asks her what she said. Catra looked at Frosta and said " I sid I have takn oer firty shots roday." We all started laughing because we could not understand her. Then Catras body hits the floor. We were all laughing again even Adora. "So wait let me get this straight I took over 30 shots last night because I was in 4 shot drinking contests." Catra says. "I guess" I say in between laugh. "Honestly you did way better than Rachel, Sparkles" She says. I fake gasp "First you get me and Bows names right and now a complement. WHO are you and what have you done with Catra" I ask while pretending to get ready to fight her. She giggles and say "Don't let it go to your head". Adora's sad face returns to her face as she asks "Who are you dating Catra" Her eyes widen and she says "I guess I should have told you about Brittany"
