Chapter 357 Find out Their Purpose It was only seen that there was a spirited old man walking out of the back hall. The old man was holding a cane and walking steadily.

He was Alfred, the patriarch of the Songo family. At the age of 88, he was still healthy, with the majesty of being able to control the situation and see through everything.

There was also an old woman who came out behind him. She was his first wife, Carol Songo. Although she was old, she was graceful and showed the majesty of a hostess.

Warda introduced Cecelia to the two elders.

After Alfred and Carol took their seats in the high hall, they began to look at the young woman in front of them.

Cecelia has a slim figure, a delicate face, and a unique cold temperament. At a quick glance, Cecelia did look like Cassie in her early age.

“Well, you said you are Cassie’s granddaughter, but is there any evidence?”

There was doubt and surprise in Alfred’s eyes.

Cecelia took out the jade pendant belonging to the Songo family which passed down from her grandmother. “I have the heirloom jade pendant left by my grandma!”

She handed the jade pendant to Alfred to see. Alfred suddenly became emotional when he saw the old thing after decades.

His hands were shaking, tears welling up in his eyes. He said. “This really belongs to Cassie! Look, Carol, it belongs to Cassie!”

Carol also took it to have a look. She looked at it carefully and nodded. “That’s right, it’s hers!”

“Oh, I didn’t expect that Cassie has been missing for so many years and there are still descendants left behind. I didn’t know about it until now.”

Alfred felt regret for a moment, thumping his chest and stamping his feet.

Seeing the old man crying, Warda comforted him. “Grandpa, don’t be sad. Now Cecelia can come back, isn’t it a fulfillment of your wish?”

“You are right! Cecelia, it’s so great that you can come back. How is your grandmother now?” Alfred wiped away his tears and asked.

“My grandmother passed away many years ago.”

Cecelia took back the jade pendant and said it calmly. She quietly watched the hypocrisy shown by the person in front of her.

How could the Songo family not know that her grandmother had passed away long ago?

Otherwise, how could there be a conspiracy that Black Hawk had been planning for many years?

Since they were acting in front of her, Cecelia really wanted to know how the thing would become at last.

“Oh my Cassie, I still remember when we were young. We grew up together, how close we were!”

Alfred burst into tears again and performed a good show for her. If Cecelia hadn’t seen through everything long ago, she might have been fooled.

“Okay, don’t be sad. Even though Cassie is not here, doesn’t Cecelia come back for her?”

Carol said to him. But she actually wanted to remind the old man not to overact.

“You are right! Cecelia, I am your great uncle! Cecelia, my dear, I am very happy to have you back!”

Alfred looked at Cecelia happily, as if he regarded her as a relative.

However, Carol looked at her again and asked. “Cecelia, why did you come to Porema suddenly? Why don’t you send a letter in advance? Your grandmother has never contacted us in so many years. We all thought she was missing and didn’t know her whereabouts.”

“My grandma didn’t tell me about my mother’s family background until she was about to die, and I only learned about it after my mother’s accident, so I thought about coming over to recognize my relatives.

After all, my grandma is a successor of the Songo family. If my grandma was still here, this place would be my grandma’s home.”

Cecelia especially emphasized this point to let all of them know.
