Chapter 183 The Truth
âHow should I know! Your mother wouldnât tell me even before she died!â
Gary had a terribly gloomy face as he remembered the past. If it wasnât for his reputation, how could he have borne this shameful secret until now?
âFine! Even if everything you said is true, let me ask you, why did you send my brother away but keep me in the Linsey family? Why didnât you send us both away?â
âYou are a girl. Itâs different.â Gary took a deep breath and said.

Because Cecelia was a girl, she was no threat to him. Besides, if he kept her, he could easily take over all the assets of the Done family.
So that was the truth!
Cecelia felt relieved to know the truth and no longer felt ashamed or angry because she had the Linsey family blood in her veins.
Now she had no blood ties to that cun ning old b astard, Gary, and she was so thrilled and even wanted to celebrate this information with fireworks!
But he had abandoned her brother and she would not let him get away with it!
âBecause Iâm a girl?Is it different? So my brother deserved to be sent away by you? Was it so difficult to faise a boy? You sold my brother to a human trafficker for $20,000! You son of a b*tch!â
Cecelia became furious and punched Gary in the face.
âAhâ¦â
Gary let out a scream. Before he could get up, Cecelia kicked him. with her foot, causing him to fly into the bookshelf.
With a crashing sound, the bookshelf shook back and forth, causing books to fall and hit Gary on the head.
Gary was badly injured and couldnât get up for a while.
The commotion attracted the attention of the few outside the door and they quickly pushed it open.
Seeing that Cecelia was beating up Gary, Harry rushed to help him and yelled, âStop it!

Seeing Cecelia so ruthless, Ophelia and Heather were too scared to go in and ran downstairs screaming, âHelp! Help! Sheâs going to kill us!!!â
âWhatâs going on?â
Gwyneth Lindsey, Garyâs mother, heard the commotion and came out of her room upstairs. She saw Cecelia storming out of the study and asked. âWhy did that jinx come back again?â
She went to the door and looked inside, only to see her son lying on the floor coughing up blood.
She screamed in terror and chased after Cecelia with her cane.
âCecelia! You jinx! Did you do this? Did you kill your father?!â Gwyneth asked Cecelia as she chased her up the stairs.
Cecelia stopped and turned to give her a cold look.
âYou old hag! You better watch your mouth! I killed your son? When? How?â
âI saw it with my own eyes! Gary was lying on the floor and covered in blood. How could you do such a thing?â
Gwyneth shouted in frustration.
Cecelia didnât want to talk to her and went downstairs. Seeing her go, Gwyneth yelled, âStop! You murderer! Stop right now!â
As Gwyneth reached out to grab her, Cecelia instinctively stepped aside, causing the old lady to fall down the stairs to the first floor and pass out.
Heather and Ophelia witnessed the scene as they brought their people into the house.
Ophelia was horrified and screamed, âYou wicked b*tch! You wonât even spare my grandmotherâs life?â
Seeing her leaving, Heather gave orders to the guards outside, âDonât let her leave! Catch her! Go catch her!â
âShe fell down the stairs by herself, I didnât push her. In fact, I didnât even touch her!â Cecelia walked down the stairs and headed straight for them.
âWe all saw it! Are you still going to deny it?â Ophelia shouted in Chapter 183 The Truth

The security guards had already rushed in and blocked Ceceliaâs way.
âNo one can stop me if I want to leave.â Cecelia had a super powerful aura and looked at them with a fierce killing gaze.
âCecelia, you are so outrageous! Arenât you afraid weâll call the police?â Ophelia shouted.
âYou want to call the police? Be my guest!â
âWe canât call the police, Ophelia, we canâtâ¦â
Heather stopped Ophelia, who was really just trying to scare Cecelia.
âGet out of my way unless you want to get killed!â Cecelia kicked away a chair and roared. Her fury stunned the guards, who then trembled.
Perhaps because of her strong aura, the guards looked at each other and no one dared to step forward to catch her.
âIf you want to make trouble for me, just try your best! If you donât get out of my way, donât blame me for being rude!â
Cecelia put it all out in the open and swept around everyone with a strong, cold, deterrent look.
Two security guards rushed toward her. Unfortunately, before they could get close to her, Cecelia kicked them away one by one, knocking both of them several feet away.
The other bodyguards were frightened by her incredible fighting skills and did not dare to make a move.
Heather and Ophelia had extremely ugly expressions, as if they had eaten shit.
When Cecelia walked past them, the bodyguards automatically made way for her. No one dared to stop her.
After she walked out of the gate of the Linsey Villa, Heather came to her senses and urged, âHurry up, you bunch of idiots! Go see whatâs going on upstairs! Go call an ambulance nowâ¦
The Lindseys and their domestic workers and bodyguards started moving. After checking, they found out that Gary, Gwyneth, and the two guards were not killed, but only injured and unconscious.
Even though Gary Harry and Gwyneth were seriously injured, the

Linsey family did not dare to call the police.
After all, if they called the police, more things would be involved!
They all had to suffer in silence.
But Ophelia could not swallow her anger. âCecelia, wait! I already know the secret of your origin. When the time is right, I will reveal your real origin to the public to tear your false rich-born origin to pieces!â
Cecelia walked out of the gate of the Lindsey Villa, and Verda immediately came up to her to ask, âMiss Linsey, are you okay?â Getting into the car, Cecelia ordered, âLetâs go!â
On the way back to Bluebell Mansion, Cecelia asked, âDid you find Figuette Shop?â

She had already asked Verda to investigate, and if Verda could find something about it, she wouldnât have to ask Remington to take her there tomorrow.
âI have already done some research. There are several companies called Figuette Shop in the country, but there is only one antique shop. I only found some legends ábout Figuette Shop, but I couldnât find the exact location of it. Anyway, this Figuette Antique&Gold Shop is very mysterious.â
âGot it.â
Since Verda couldnât find it, it seemed that she could only ask. Remington for help.
Thinking of Remingtonâs stubbornness and clingy nature, Cecelia felt a headache.
Why could she be decisive and ruthless with other men, but not with. him?
Was it because he was the biological father of Andres, Max and Cyrus?
Remington had returned to the Aroma Villa and had confirmed that Andres was asleep in the house, so the child he saw earlier couldnât possibly be Andres.
Shortly after, Fredric ran back from outside with the latest news, âYoung Master Remi, Iâve found something about the child!
Remingtonâs expression tightened as he asked, âWhat is it?â Chapter 183 The Truth
