âI took the photo when doing laundry. There is a lipstick mark on the collar of his shirt. It is the same color as yours. How can you explain it?â
Cecelia glanced at the photo and sneered. âMany women are wearing this lipstick. Why do you suspect only me?â
âFine! If you donât admit it, look at this!â
Lydia took out a jewelry box and opened it, revealing a beautiful necklace and a small card saying, ââTo my beautiful Ceceliaâ.
âIs your name on it? It is solid evidence! Youâve long h ooked up with my man. Shame on you, sl ut!â
When Lydia raised the jewelry box to smash Cecelia, the
latter extended one hand, grabbed her wrist, and forcefully folded it upward.
âAh!â
Lydia let out a cry in pain, shouting, âIt hurts! Let go!â
She had wrongly accused Cecelia and even intended to hit her!
Who gave her the courage?
âLydia, listen! Your man is worse than trash! I donât like him because my taste is not as bad as yours.
Even if you give him to me, I will not accept him!â
âYouâre lying! Since you refuse to admit it, letâs go to let Madam Renee judge which side is right!â
Lydia thought her evidence was solid, so she clamored to let Renee be the judger.
âShe is not qualified to meddle in my business. Lydia, use your brain! Investigate your husband before barking at others like a mad dog!â
Cecelia knew something about Ronald, so she was sure he was fooling around with other women.
When she shook off Lydiaâs hand, the latter cried in pain and was not convinced.
âYou have some fight skills, so you think you can bully me at will, right?â

Cecelia could not communicate with such a fool and did not want to waste more time, so she turned to leave. Lydia was so angry that she picked up a stone and threw it at the back of her head.
At the critical time, a man flashed out and protected Cecelia.
âOuch!â
Hearing him let out a muf fled grunt, Cecelia turned around and saw it was Samson.
Fortunately, he had blocked the stone just in time. If it had hit Ceceliaâs head, she would have ended up with a blo ody hole.
After stabilizing himself, he turned to look at Lydia and snapped, âLydia, what are you doing? If you had hurt her, it would be considered intentional harm and you would end up in jail!â
Seeing him, Lydia cried aggrievedly. âSamson, you came at the right time. She seduced Ronald. Help me teach her a good lesson!â
Lydia thought he was her helper, so she started to complain.
Hearing her whining, Samson reprimanded her, saying, âStop yelling! Donât blame Lydia! If you are angry, you should go to scold Ronald!â
Samson had accepted the reality and regarded Cecelia as his cousin-in-law now.
âWhat? Are you taking her side?â
âIâm not taking sides! Iâm speaking on the ground of justice! Iâm telling the truth!â
Samson continued to persuade her, saying, âIf you donât want to make a big deal out of this, you should keep silent. But if you insist on slandering a good person, I can show you the evidence.
Cecelia coldly watched Samson defend her.
âWhat evidence?â Lydia asked.
Seeing her so stubborn, Samson could only show her the surveillance video he had accidentally found, saying, âWatch it!â
The video showed Ronald blocking Ceceliaâs path, attempting to hit on her. After she rejected him, he forcibly hugged her, which resulted in her kicking him in the groin to break free.
After watching it, Lydia felt as if being slapped in the face. And she was so shocked that she was at a loss for words.

Samson said, âRonald sexually harassed Cecelia. So, you should have made trouble for him instead of pestering her. If she exposes the scandal, Ronaldâs reputation will be ruined. And it will do no good to you!â
Hearing his words, Lydia realized the seriousness of the matter and didnât dare to yell anymore. So, she said, âFine! Forget it! I wonât talk about this matter anymore!â
When she intended to leave, Cecelia said, âStop!â
Lydiaâs wrist was still in pain. Seeing Cecelia blocking the way, she retreated in fright and asked, âCecelia, what do you want?â
âYou slandered me, so you must apologize!â
Cecelia was an unforgiving person who could not bear the slightest loss.
Lydia had humiliated her, so she would not let go of her easily. After all, she was not a pushover.
âI told you I would never bring it up again!â Lydia angrily said.
âIf you donât apologize, let me hit you! Then, we will be even!â
Seeing her raise her hand, Lydia was scared and hurriedly protected her face, saying, âDonât hit me! I apologize! Iâm sorry, Cecelia! I wrongly blamed you! Could you please forgive me?â
âThatâs more like it! I will let you go this time for the sake of Samson. If you dare to do this again, you canât blame me for being ruthless! Get lost!â
The look in Ceceliaâs eyes was shockingly fierce, so Lydia was terrified and quickly ran away.
Samson asked with concern, âLeah, are you okay? She was deliberately finding fault with you.
â
âMany people want to find fault with me. Who does she think she is?â
Lydia was a stu pid woman, so Cecelia didnât take her seriously. âThank you!â
She was a grateful person. Samson had helped her, so she must thank him.
âDonât mention it.â

âWell, Iâll go back now.â

When Cecelia walked toward the Aroma Villa, Samson stared after her in a daze.
As soon as she walked into the house, Remington heard her high heels and knew she was back.
Seeing her, Maximus instantly slid off Remingtonâs lap and ran upstairs.
Cecelia wondered why her son had such abnormal behaviors. But when she looked at the man on the sofa, she couldnât help laughing. âWhat are you doing?â
âDidnât you see? I was playing with my son! Hmph!â Remington snorted and showed a gloomy face.
Hearing his tone, she knew he was upset. But she was not surprised to see him like this. After all, she had left early and made him lose face in front of his friends. So, she could understand his bad mood
now.
âYour game is unique.â
Cecelia was trying to nicely talk with him, so she didnât tell him there was the word âScu mbagâ on his white shirt. It must be Max who had written it. If she guessed right, there must be a surprise on
Remingtonâs back. She walked behind him and looked over. Sure enough, there was a big p oo.
Why did he hate his father so much?
Remington ignored her. After getting the cold shoulder, Cecelia thought for a while and said, âYour clothes are dirty. Let me help you change them!â
Anyway, it was inappropriate for the president of the Nelson Group to wear such a shirt.
He reluctantly replied, âOK!â
He had been waiting for such an opportunity to make peace with her.
Remington stood up and reached out to grab Ceceliaâs arm. But as soon as he took a step forward, he tripped over a leg of the coffee table. When his burly body fell forward, Cecelia failed to dodge it in time. So, they fell onto the sofa together, and he pressed heavily upon her.
