That day after school. Lukas Scottville. The perfect of them all. He meets Elisabeth Simpson. By the lockers.

"How could you do this to me?" He shouts at her. "How could you just ignore me the whole day yet you know that I am the one who caused your beauty?"

She turns to him. There is arrogance in her eyes. "No. You are not the one. And if there is someone I am thanking it's Uncle Tom. Not a desperate teenage boy with no life." She says.

The words hurt. Mostly when they come from her mouth.

There is nothing he can do. As John Jackson comes. And hoods her hand. And walks her away. He breaks down from within. The perfect of them all.

He feels no more perfect.
