And on that night. She escapes. The ugliest of them all. For no one watches her. When she is asleep.
She follows the card. The one she was given. To an address not so bright. Even by name.
She fights with herself. She knows this is not the best thing to do. But she needs it. She is tired of being herself.
When she reaches the place. It is dark. And concealed with secrets. Secrets we might never know. For I in my right senses. Would never teach you the secrets. Those to alter beauty and destiny.
But Uncle Tom knows. He knows his own secrets. Yet he keeps them in darkness. That no one might see.
Prior to his word. He makes her beautiful.
In many ways unsaid. In many untaught processes. But that beauty stays with that night. That Saturday night. As she sneaks back home. Never looks into her mirror.
Thanks to the boy. The boy who loves her. The boy whom she might never love back.
That's the world. That's life. And it spins. Just like the world.
