CHAPTER 6 : This boy I swear..
____________________________________
This is the eighth time a crumbled paper has been tossed on my head.
Stay calm Ellie, stay calm.
ninth paper.
tenth paper.
eleventh paper.
twe- you know what? I've got enough.
I titled my head to the side to talk to him. "Is this why you chose the seat next to me?"
Aaron acted like he had no idea what I'm talking about. "What do you mean?"
"Did you change your seat and sit next to me just to annoy me," I didn't wait for his response before I continued, "have you not had enough at lunch?"
He just smirked.
"May I know why you find pleasure in annoying me?" I asked, wanting to wipe that stupid smirk off his face.
"Yeah, yeah it's because, in fact-" before he continued, Mister Wilson saw us talking apparently and interrupted us.
"Mind sharing your conversation with us Mister Owens and Miss Rosell?" He asked, glaring at us.
Jeez, did someone pee in his mouth or something?
Damn. Why did I think of that?
I don't know what came over me, but instead of convincing Mister Wilson that we weren't talking, I said something stupid as usual, "Aaron was just asking me about a point in the lesson that he didn't understand."
Now here is why it's stupid.
Mister Wilson smiled and said, "Oh okay sorry, didn't know that." and turned his head back at the board.
We thought it was over and that I was the smartest person ever until he looked back at us and said "Can you point it out?"
Aaron and I went from smiling in victory to blushing from embarrassment to going pale because we have no clue what the lesson is about.
Wait, what class is this again?
Oh yeah, calculus, right.
"Your turn to come up with something." I whispered to Aaron.
"Alright." He whispered back.
"Mr.Wilson before I answer you, would you please tell me what's the name of the girl from last time?" Aaron said, standing up.
IS HE FOR REAL?
In the last Calculus class, Mister Wilson turned on his computer to show us a presentation on the board about the lesson or some shit, but before the presentation started, a picture of a girl our age popped on as it was his Desktop BackGround.
Alot of stupid guys started wolf whistling and saying "She's hot". Little did they know, it was Mr.Wilson's daughter, which explains why he started yelling at them for not caring about education enough but getting distracted by a picture of a stranger.
So, Aaron right now, knew exactly who she was but he asked Mr.Wilson on purpose, provoking the shit out of him. I have no idea why would you ask the teacher, who you just lied to and they found out about your lie, that. Well I'm the one who lied, but Aaron is still part of this.
A couple of people started laughing while Mr.Wilson turned red and said to Aaron, "Detention today after school." to which Aaron gave zero shit about as he replied with, "Mr.Wilson with all due respect, but why are you changing the subject?"
WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM!?
Everyone laughed again until Mr.Wilson yelled "Enough!" and then added "Double detention Mister Owens."
Aaron just shrugged his shoulders before he said, "Okay, but don't you think it's unfair that only I get the detention, after all, she," he said pointing at me, "was talking too."
I gasped.
THAT MOTHERFUC-
"Yeah you're right, detention to you too Miss Rosell." So I said attempted to argue and was about to tell him that that's unfair but he interrupted me with his famous "Enough."
Aaron smirked at me just to piss me off even more and took his seat.
"Now we're even." He whispered.
"No," I said and then kicked his leg hard, "Now we are." It was me who smirked this time.
-----------------------------------------------------
When I got to detention, Aaron was already there with two other random kids.
I immediately ignored him and took a seat in the back while he was seated in the front.
I decided to solve my homework now because today, the first episode of RiverDale Season Two will be up and I need to watch it and then fangirl over it.
I don't have time to do that if I need to solve my calculus homework.
So I started.
I have no clue what my homework is about but I tried to solve it anyways.
I got so distracted in this stupid problem and didn't notice that Aaron just casually sat down next to me.
This boy I swear.
He just keeps following me around to annoy me, it's getting out of hand really.
I didn't even take a glance his way, but I can see from the corner of my eyes that he's staring at me in a creepy way, waiting for me to look at him.
Huh, bitch you thought!
"What?" Aaron sounded confused.
I just muttered 'Bitch you thought.' aloud.
Why am I like this?
"Umm nothing, forget it." I answered and looked at my sheets again in attempt to solve my homework.
But stupid Aaron just felt the need to grab the sheet away from me and raise it above his head.
I reached out to grab it before he stood up which made it hard for me to reach it.
Damn what is this boy, a tree?
"Give it back." I said firmly, glaring at him.
The teacher just noticed us and yelled "Take a seat and stop talking now."
Jeez did someone pee in her-
Ewww no, not again!
"Sorry." I said to her before glaring at Aaron again and taking a seat.
I leaned in close to his ear and whispered "Give me my fucking homework Aaron, I mean it."
He realized how close I was and stuttered a little when he said "O-okay just, tell me why you said that randomly."
I still don't know why he stuttered but I just asked him why did he care about what I said.
He smirked and the cute ass blushing guy from a couple seconds ago was gone. "I just wanna know."
I sighed and leaned back in my seat.
I don't wanna give him an answer, but I also wanna watch RiverDale and fangirl over Jughead.
I sighed again and then answered him "I was just thinking about how you wanted me to notice you so you could annoy me earlier, but I was like 'bitch you thought' and I said it aloud by accident, now give me my homework." I said before pulling my hand out to him, demanding that he handles me my homework.
"Wow, You didn't seem like a nerd when I gave you lessons that you didn't even know the titles of." He said, acting so surprised.
However, I replied with, "Is that supposed to be offensive?"
He immediately said, "No no no, not at all, it's just that, seeing you from a distance, you look more like the type of person who would skip their homework and focus on their looks instead."
"Am I supposed to be offended?" I frowned before saying, "because I am. I do care about how I look, true, and I don't see how that's wrong but I care about education and reading and real important issues, not just my looks."
"Ellie I-" Aaron said but I interrupted him.
"And by the way, I'm not a nerd, I hate studying, you can rip off all my books, I won't care but I still try to solve my homeworks because I want to actually go to a great collage and I do wanna learn." This time I took a really deep breath, and just focused back on my homework before he says anything.
I don't know why I just got all defensive. It's not worth it.
"I don't even have to explain myself to you!" I exclaimed.
"Jesus Ellie, I didn't know you were that defensive, I didn't mean it that way." Aaron said after a couple of silent seconds.
"I'm not really being defensive, what you said was unnecessary." I said and was surprised to find that I had caught Aaron's attention.
Aaron looked really interested and he wasn't wearing his annoying side this time. "I know, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be out of line."
Which is probably why I continued talking.
"It just bothers me when people judge me or anyone based off on appearances according to stereotypes or whatever beauty standards they believe in, there's just too many labels and it sucks."
I was surprised at the fact that Aaron was still listening to me with all his attention diverted at what I'm saying.
I didn't mean to ramble, it just happens sometimes. But I expected Aaron to make a joke about it or make fun of me for it.
But instead he just nodded and said, "I know right, I mean, just last week I saw a girl bullying another girl for wearing too much makeup and not being confident in her own skin or something like that." Aaron said, sounding so interested in our conversation.
"Ugh," I made such an ugly sound, "These bother me the most, girls who put other girls down, I mean what happened to women empowerment?" I exclaimed, feeling the need to punch that girl that was bullying the other girl for wearing too much makeup.
I mean, you never know how insecure a girl can be, maybe she feels more confident with makeup, maybe she just generally enjoys getting creative with makeup, there's nothing wrong about that.
"Yeah, you're right." Aaron said, ending our conversation.
We sat in silence for a while and I went back to solving my homework.
Aaron ended up helping me solve the whole thing till I was finished.
He also scribbled alot of curse words on my sheet with a pen, so that Mister Wilson who I'm assuming already hates my guts will question me about it.
I asked him why and he said, "It's a revenge for calling me Dumb Trump last night."
He also asked me if I ever read Fifty Shades Of Grey which I haven't. I answered him and we started another conversation. Aaron recommended that we should play 20 questions until the other hour of detention finished.
Oh yeah, about the teacher, she fell asleep.
Like actually fell asleep on her desk.
Anyways, I think that game is way too cliche and stupid so I said that it'd be better if we just asked each other whatever we want. Aaron agreed and started first.
"Do you have any siblings? Because I didn't catch anyone besides your parents when I came over?" He asked.
"I don't, I'm an only child." I answered before adding "What about you?"
Aaron smiled "I have one little brother, he gets really annoying sometimes but I don't think my life would be fun without him, it's like his presence adds something fun and important in it." Aaron said, still smiling at the thought of his little brother.
I smiled at how loving he sounded and asked him more about his brother, "How old is he? Well first of all, what's his name?"
"He's Mason and he's seven." Aaron answered.
I nodded and then said "You're so lucky to have a brother, I wish I had a sibling." and then I continued, "It feels quite boring sometimes, it's like I want someone to be able to argue with at home or to talk to about my problems, I think if I had a sibling, I'd be close to them."
Everything was going normal, I learned alot about Aaron. He told me when his birthday is and I told him when mine is. He now knows about my favorite series and how much of a fangirl I am. He admitted to knowing the majority of the artists he saw on my wall but he pretended to not know them to piss me off which isn't surprising.
He now knows that my favorite color is silver but I like to wear black the most. I know now that he wore braces when he was in sixth grade and that when he was was young, he wanted to name Mason "Second" because he was the second child and because the second Aaron knew he was gonna have a brother he was always wishing that he would get him in a second.
I laughed so hard about that. He, Aaron, was such a cute child.
Everything was going smoothly until I said, "What did your parents think of the name 'second'?" I was still laughing.
It was just a random question that popped in my head, however, the second I mentioned 'Parents', Aaron flinched before hardening his gaze and looking forward.
What the fuck just happened?
"Umm Aaron?" I said unsure if I should say anything now or not, "I'm sorry if I asked something wrong."
Aaron closed his eyes and took a deep breath before looking at me and the nice Aaron was gone, replaced by the cocky ass one, as he smirked and said, "What, does nerdy wanna stay in detention? It's over now." and before I had any chance of replying he was already at the door.
Well okay then.

HI MOTHERFUCKERS
READ THIS AUTHORS NOTE AND BTW HERE IS CHAPTER SIX !! AS IF YOU ARENT AWARE OF THAT!!
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT, it's not my favorite but it's there
The reason that I added the whole deep empowerment stuff is because i feel like most poeple experience bullying, or just being torn down to the point where it's kind of normalized, that people will try to tear you down and that's that, it won't change. I personally have a whole history with that.
I think it's safe to say the only way out of it is accepting who you are, being patient with who you are, and always remember to surround yourself with good people. With these elements, chances are no one can knock you down and ive learned that through experience over the past years.
Sorry for writing all of this, I just feel the need to remind y'all
So yeah
