*****************************************

I sigh as I kick the box and huff afterwards. What is it so damn heavy for?

Aaron placed the last plate in the cabinet, and then upon hearing me sigh, he turned around and grinned at me with an amused expression as he walked towards me.

Aaron stood a few feet away from me as he spoke, "We have two boxes left, unpack them so we can do the final cleaning and get this over with."

I tried giving Aaron my best puppy eyes look, "But do we really have to unpack everything left today?"

"Oh come on Oreo, we're leaving tomorrow and once we come back, spring break will be over! Let's just finish." Aaron reasoned with me but I wasn't giving in.

I pulled the blanket that I had wrapped around my body around my head, so only my face was showing as I stopped pouting and began glaring instead. "I don't want to unpack and you can't make me."

Aaron started laughing at how ridiculous I looked and then placed his hands on his hips, "I've done most of the unpacking, all you've been doing is whine all day and kick the boxes."

I gasped audibly, "You don't understand period pain so shut up!

"You're on your period?" Aaron asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, since this morning." I replied, playing the victim card but Aaron saw through my act.

"See! Since today! But you've been whining for three days now!" Aaron said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Periods make you feel like shit before and after they come, but you wouldn't know." I glared and Aaron looked scared.

He knows better than to mess with me when I start my period because I become an actual bitch whenever he messes up.

Aaron smiled at me softly, "Alright, sorry."

"Shit!" I exclaimed as sudden pain shot through my lower back, making me lean forward and place my hand on the couch for support.

Aaron immediately rushed over to me and grabbed my arm, "Have you taken any pills yet?"

I nodded, still hissing through the pain, "Yeah, but they need a little more time to kick in."

Why do I have to be one of the girls who feel period pains on a next level?

Aaron dealing with this every month for the past four years taught him exactly what to do to make it better.

My eyes started tearing up at how bad I felt and Aaron seemed very worried.

"Okay, let's get you to bed." Aaron muttered and I nodded as he held me bridal style and walked me to bed.

On our way there, my tears started streaming down my face on Aaron's jacket, I couldn't hold them in any longer.

Aaron gently placed me on the bed and then pulled the duvet from under me to put it on me.

When Aaron saw my tear stained face, he started panicking as he always does whenever I get sick. "Oh my god, you're crying!"

I wanted to smile at how adorable he is. I cry most of the times when I get my period because of the intense pain I experience on my lower back, yet Aaron can not get used to that, and acts as though it's the first time he ever saw me crying in pain.

"It's okay," I mumbled, "I'm alright." I said, clearly lying to Aaron and myself as I curl in a ball and continue crying.

"Give me a second." Aaron said and walked out of the room quickly, not giving me time to reply.

I wiped my tears away and focused on my breathing, not wanting to worry Aaron further. My period seriously has the worst timing, this is supposed to be a great day and it just has to ruin it.

Aaron hurried in the room adorably with the heating pad in his right hand and a cup in the other.

"Here." Aaron said, placing the cup of hot tea on the nightstand and then gave me the heating pad to place on my stomach.

"Thank you." I whispered and managed to smile at how cute Aaron looks, through the pain.

Aaron frowned as his mouth tugged downwards, "I hate seeing you like this, Oreo."

"It's okay, seriously, you know how it is, I'll be fine!" I assured Aaron and he kissed me on my forehead.

Aaron finally stopped panicking and grinned at me, "Want a cuddle?"

"Do I ever say no to those?" I replied and Aaron continued grinning as he got to his side of the bed, and placed my head on his chest.

"One day, I'm gonna meet this period person and beat the shit out of him." Aaron said and I giggled.

"I agree that it's a him, otherwise he wouldn't be such a pain in the ass." I said and Aaron faked offense.

"You're living with a boy now, what's that supposed to mean!" Aaron said, as he dabbed at my tears, and I relaxed into his touch.

"Yeah that's true," I said, glancing up to look at Aaron's pleasing face, "but I'm living with an amazing man, not just any boy."

Aaron, like any other guy, loved hearing me call him a man and quickly kissed me.

I meant it though. Aaron is one real, incredible, and brilliant man. He's like no other person ever. He's like art.

"I can't believe there's your side of the bed and my side now." I whispered against Aaron's lips as we stopped the kiss to take a breath.

"I still want your side." Aaron mumbled and I laughed.

"You're still not getting it." I said, making Aaron pout.

After four years of hanging out together in two very boring college dorms with the most amazing roommates, Ethan and Rose, Aaron and I finally moved in together three days ago.

We've been balancing working alot recently with studying and we've been saving the money to rent ourselves a little apartment that's perfect for two people like ourselves.

We don't have enough money to buy a house right now, but this small apartment is all we ever wanted. It's finally our place, and we have everything the way we always discussed it would be. The fact that I get to finally share a place with Aaron makes me so happy.

This is our last year in college and we only have a semester left. As twenty two years old, I think it's about time Aaron and I share the same place.

Going into college, we got more lucky than ever. Aaron and I got accepted at the same college, which was ten hours away from home. But the luckiest part of it all is that Ethan and Rose joined us in the same college. Aaron and I didn't have to bond with new people. Rose shared a room with me, and Ethan shared one with Aaron.

Laurel and Joey did work out the distance thing, Laurel didn't go to college but instead, she became a social media influencer which fit her just right and gained her so much money.

Steve and Joey each went to different colleges, but it wasn't a big problem for Steve and Rose after a year because they broke up. It was sad for all of us and very awkward at first, but they didn't have any hard feelings and managed to stay friends for the sake of the rest of the group.

As for Nathan, his relationship with Kathrine didn't work either. She was bad for him, and it was sad watching him go through a toxic relationship, and very hard convincing him to leave it. Eventually, he took our advice and left it when he was ready. He dated a few girls after her, but never got into anything serious.

Ethan started seeing some guy as of recently, and according to him, he's never felt this strong of a connection before. That's a pure lie as he tends to say that about every person he starts seeing. But if he's happy, I can never complain.

We were all still good friends and met every chance we got. We were especially excited for this weekend, which was tomorrow, because we're all going to be together at the same time back at home.

Aaron and I spent our time in the past couple of years studying together even though Aaron is majoring in business while I'm majoring in pharmacy. Surprisingly enough, we also worked out alot. Aaron tried so hard to get me to workout with him and when I finally gave in, it became a habit of mine too.

Besides traveling back home, we traveled together one other time when we got to go to New York together and it was an amazing trip.

All in all, Aaron and I grew up together, and kept growing our relationship too. We put in equal effort to make it work, and by far, it's always great, perfect even.

Aaron and I spent some more time hugging in bed after I drank my tea until I eventually fell asleep. When I woke up about three hours later, Aaron was not in bed.

I left our room to go check on Aaron, groaning out of hate for these sudden naps that ruin my whole day.

A grin forms on my face instantly as I find Aaron slouched on the couch on his phone, with food in front of him on the carpet replacing the boxes that I left earlier.

Aaron notices me standing in front of him in a smile and puts his phone away.

"Oreo! You're up." Aaron said as he stood up and cupped my face. "How're you feeling?" He added.

"Much better." I said, pointing at the nutella jar on the floor that lifted my mood very quickly.

"Ofcourse that's all you care about." Aaron murmured and I laughed as he let go of my face.

I opened my arms wide to hug Aaron and he smiled at me. But before he could get into the hug, he glanced quickly down at my feet and stepped away from me.

I frowned in confusion and Aaron wasted no time in explaining, "I told you millions of times to keep your socks on!"

Realization hit me as I stopped frowning and answered sheepishly, "I forgot them, I had them on before sleeping though!"

"No hugs for you until you put them on." Aaron crossed his arms and I pouted.

"Why does it matter, just freaking hug me!" I exclaimed and Aaron shook his head as to say no.

"You're already feeling sick today and now you're trying to catch a cold?" Aaron replied and I racked through my brain for something smart to say.

Per usual, I failed as I said, "You're telling me the cold is gonna move all the way from my feet to my throat?"

"Ha ha," Aaron said, rolling his eyes, "nice try."

"Ugh, fine!" I groaned and finally made my way back to the room to pick up some socks.

After putting them on, I went out and stood in front of Aaron, my hands on my hips sassily, "Happy now?"

Aaron grinned at me and walked towards me, "See! Much better now."

Aaron finally hugged me and I sighed in relaxation, taking in his smell that I adore.

"When did you get all this stuff?" I whispered in Aaron's chest, referring to the snacks on the floor.

"I went as soon as you fell asleep, you were feeling like shit and I wanted to surprise you." Aaron whispered and I hugged him even tighter. God, I love him.

"I'm so happy," I murmured, "thank you baby."

Aaron brought me so much belief in men being extremely romantic and acting like gentlemen. He treats me very well. I thought it was just at the start of the relationship, but he managed to keep surprising me for the entire relationship and apparently, won't stop anytime soon.

Aaron and I pulled back from the hug and went to sit down on the floor.

"Did you unpack the rest..?" I let my voice trail off, feeling guilty about the fact that Aaron unpacked the majority of our things and cleaned much more than I did in the past couple of days.

"Yeah." Aaron responded curtly.

"Why didn't you leave them for me!" I exclaimed and Aaron raised his brows at me.

"If you think I'm gonna watch you work when you're in pain, you are very wrong." Aaron replied. I stared at Aaron in awe for a couple of seconds and then attacked his face with kisses.

"I love you so much!" I exclaimed when I stopped kissing Aaron and he giggled as he wrapped his arms around me and secured me on his lap.

"What do you wanna watch?" Aaron asked me as he drew lazy patterns on my back, making me feel completely comfortable.

"What do you think?" I replied in a laugh and Aaron threw his head back, groaning.

"Please, for once, let's not watch Friends." Aaron said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"But I wanna watch it!" I replied and Aaron scoffed.

"Well, I don't." Aaron said back. I don't know how my hormones get this way on my period, but I have the tendency to cry if you even blow air on my face. So naturally, upon Aaron saying that, my eyes started tearing up.

Aaron widened his eyes when he noticed and then started laughing, "Are you actually crying?"

I placed my head on Aaron's shoulder and hid my face from him as I replied, "Sorry, I can't control it."

"Awwww," Aaron made a sweet noise, "Alright, we can watch Friends, anything for my babygirl."

When Aaron said that, my tears finally streamed down my face and I pulled back to look at him.

"Why are you still crying, I swear we can watch it!" Aaron said and quickly wiped at my tears.

"No, I know, I just love you so much." I said and Aaron smiled.

"I love you more, Oreo." Aaron replied, pulling away a strand piece of my hair that fell on my face.

"No," I shook my head before sniffing, "I love you more."

Aaron rolled his eyes, "I think we've all established that I love you more."

"I think you're the only one who's established that because I love you more." I said and Aaron sighed.

"Call it equal?" Aaron suggested and I grinned.

"Okay!" I exclaimed and Aaron laughed as he pulled me away from his lap and reached for his computer as I reached for the nutella and opened the jar.

After the episode started and I finished licking my spoon and went in for more nutella, Aaron suddenly pinched my cheeks, "You are so cute!"

I giggled and intertwined my fingers with his as we watched the episode.

Aaron and I spent a couple more hours like that, just cuddling and watching Netflix and then we decided to sleep as we had a long day ahead of us tomorrow. We were going back home in a three hours flight and then we were going to meet our parents and then everyone else. We will hardly get any sleep.

"I'm so excited." I said, snuggling closer to Aaron on our bed and he chuckled.

"Yeah, me too." He said and I sighed.

"It feels so weird not hearing Ethan making out with someone in the living room." I said, remembering how just a week ago, we were cuddling on Aaron's bed in his dorm room while Ethan kissed his man in front of us.

"It feels so weird that we're sharing a bedroom now!" Aaron said and I nodded, laughing a little.

"Yeah, yeah, god knows how I'll handle you in my face everyday now." I teased Aaron and he let out the beautiful sound of his laugh.

I felt the wind wafting through the window and cuddled closer to Aaron. It's pretty cold.

"It's not my fault you wanted to get into my car." Aaron said and I lightly hit his chest.

"That was an accident." I said.

"One that you're thankful for." Aaron continued.

"I really am." I said and Aaron pecked the side of my head as I continued, "it was honestly one of most embarrassing things that has ever happened to me, like I cringe when I think about it."

"Oh come on, weren't you like damn, who's this hot guy that's smirking at me and being arrogant?" Aaron said and I rolled my eyes though I knew Aaron couldn't see that in the dark.

"Actually, I was more like Oops! Wrong Car, gotta go now." I said and Aaron laughed.

Aaron and I finally went to sleep, feeling all excited about tomorrow and all in love as usual.

When the next day came, Aaron and I woke up early to catch our flight, and we were surprised to find how much colder it was at home.

We were supposed to go on the same flight as Rose and Ethan but they insisted on leaving four hours after us, claiming it's better for them to get more sleep and pack their stuff.

We caught a cab outside the airport and decided to take it, I sat in the backseat as Aaron and the cab driver placed our suitcases in the trunk.

It was pretty foggy from the weather and I glanced at the window in time when Aaron wrote 'I love you' with his finger on the window through the fog, and I started laughing as he opened the door and got in.

"You're an idiot." I said and Aaron laughed along.

"An idiot who has a surprise for you." Aaron replied and I raised my brows.

"Should I be scared?" I asked as the cab driver got in and drove the car.

"I don't know about you but I am terrified." Aaron replied, his reply only increasing my confusion.

What the hell does that mean?

"Have you already given him the location?" I whispered to Aaron after five minues of pure silence, meaning the driver.

"Yeah yeah, I texted him the location." Aaron replied and I nodded. I was seated on the far left of the backseat and couldn't really see the driver's phone from here.

We were going to my parent's house and then Aaron would go on to see his mom and Mason. The plan was to see everyone later tonight and then tomorrow I'm going with Aaron to see his family which I'm lowkey excited about because over the years I've grown to love these people especially Mason who grew up too fast and is twelve already.

The road took longer than usual, but I didn't question it and instead blamed the traffic and the weather. But then I also noticed that we're driving in streets we don't usually head to.

I scooted myself a little closer to Aaron and whispered, "He's obviously heading the wrong way, tell him!"

One thing Aaron stood by my side with all the time was my anxiety. Eventually, I got professionally diagnosed, and he learned to deal with it over time perfectly. In situations like this one, he knows very well I won't speak up and he never questions it when I let him make most of our food deliveries.

"He's taking the right way Oreo, I told you there's a surprise." Aaron smirked at me and I furrowed my brows.

"So we're not going home?" I asked and Aaron nodded.

"No, we're not." Aaron confirmed and I stared at him with a look of disbelief for ten seconds straight.

"What?" Aaron said, and I shrugged.

"You're crazy and you're confusing me, what surprise?" I replied.

"It's called a surprise for a reason." Aaron said back and I huffed, and turned my head away to stare outside the window.

Fifteen minutes later, everything became clear. The place around me was familiar. It was a place I miss so much. The lake Aaron took me to when we first got to know each other. We went there a few times when we visited here from college, but the last time was a good seven months ago.

I turned my head to look at Aaron, a huge grin forming on my face.

Aaron smiled back at me and intertwined our fingers. The surprise is pretty cute but admittedly, I still have no clue as to why we couldn't just come tomorrow and see our parents now. But I forgot about that when Aaron squeezed my hand.

Aaron stopped the driver a small distance from the lake and then we grabbed our bags from the trunk and started rolling them behind us as we dragged them towards the lake.

"The only unplanned situation here is these." Aaron sighed, referring to our suitcases.

Our bags weren't really that heavy because we were only coming for two weeks, but still.

As we grew closer to the lake, I gasped and furrowed my brows upon hearing a few sounds. The sound of people talking and music was pretty obvious.

Aaron and I kept walking and then made it to the lake. What I didn't expect to see was the sight of all the guys along with Rose and Laurel.

I thought we were hanging out tonight, what's everyone doing here?

Rose and Ethan obviously caught a flight way before we did.

Everyone looked at me and started greeting us and I widened my eyes, "What's going on!" I squealed as I left my bag and walked over to the boys and hugged them.

And then I started squealing more as Aaron and I saw everyone, and I hugged Laurel a little too tight.

"Best surprise ever!" I said to Aaron as I smiled at everyone.

"I'm afraid that's not the surprise Oreo." Aaron replied and I glanced around uneasily.

"That doesn't make any sense." I replied. And then, Aaron held my hand and walked us right in front of the lake. Ethan was standing in front of us, recording.

Someone from behind me started playing Aaron and I's special song. The first song we ever danced to together. The music was blasting through the huge speakers that Nathan owned for a while and we used alot.

If I have to be honest, it didn't fully click in my head that a surprise like this was necessary with the fact that we were all meeting tonight, but I thought the whole thing was a cute way to introduce everyone to this place and hang out.

Ed Sheeran started singing his song 'Kiss Me' through the speakers and I grew emotional and nervous as I looked back at Aaron, the sun was setting but yet, it cast a small light on his green eyes that I love.

This can't be what I think it is.

"You look nervous." Aaron chuckled, his voice sounding small.

"So do you." I chuckled too. Aaron looks tense and on edge.

Aaron held both of my hands with his, and sighed deeply before he started talking.

"I brought you here today to tell you that I remember the feeling of butterflies in my stomach when I saw you across the hall sophomore year of high school, which you still don't believe guys experience." I laughed a little before Aaron continued, "Now that I'm with you, there isn't a day that I look at you and not feel butterflies everywhere."

I bit my lip hard, trying to keep my emotions in as I nodded silently at Aaron and looked down for a second.

Aaron took a deep breath in and I instinctively squeezed his hands as I looked back into his eyes and gave him a small smile of encouragement to continue.

"For the past years of my life, you have been the light. You have been the healer. You have been the miracle in my life that made up for everything." When Aaron said that, a tear rolled down my eye. His eyes were alluring me as he spoke, and I felt so much intensity, I had to cry.

Aaron got emotional too and his voice cracked when he said, "You're the first girl that went with me to see my dad, the last one, and the most comforting. I remember you were scared to say the wrong thing, but ended up making jokes and tried not to get emotional and talked to him about how he raised an amazing son, and I thought to myself, how did I get so lucky?"

My tears were a waterfall at this point and Aaron's eyes became teary too. "We clicked from the very start and I felt a connection with the girl who kept rolling her eyes at me that I had never felt before." At that, I chuckled through the tears.

"From the moment your finger happened to press on the recording of the phone call where I confessed my feelings, I knew it was made to be, the universe was telling me you're it. You're my soulmate." I shuddered at hearing that in agreement. How slim were the odds that day of me hearing that, yet it happened.

"When we got together, I made a promise to you to give you the world if you let me. That promise won't ever change. I love you so much and I promise I'll always be by your side. I'll always laugh at your jokes when no else does," A few chuckles were heard around me at that, "I'll always watch Friends with you even when I'm sick of it, and I'll be a caring husband."

I broke down into quite sobs as Aaron knelt down on one knee, and pulled the ring box from his pocket and opened it towards me.

"Ellie Bay Rosell, will you marry me?" Aaron said, and broke down to tears himself.

I nodded quickly, "Yes, ofcourse, duh." I whispered in cries as Aaron grinned and placed the ring on my finger. The guys around us started cheering and Rose and Laurel were crying as Aaron stood up and hugged me.

Aaron and I cried into each other's shoulders for a few seconds and then pulled back and kissed passionately.

"I love you so much." I said as I wiped at Aaron's tears.

I looked at the ring and smiled, "Baby, it's so pretty." I whispered. I couldn't stop crying.

Aaron kissed me again and we started laughing crazily when we pulled back, "I can't believe it." I shook my head. I did not think this will happen today when I woke up.

"I told you I'm gonna marry you one day, didn't I?" Aaron said to me, our foreheads pressed against each other and I laughed and nodded.

I didn't believe in marriage in our age. The me of two years ago would think we're too young. In the start of our relationship I told Aaron I'd rather wait until we're twenty six atleast. Now, at twenty two, I believe this is the best and easiest decision I have ever made. I told Aaron a year ago that I changed my mind and he can propose to me whenever. I was half joking but Aaron took it seriously and I'm glad he did.

We finally pulled back and smiled at everyone as they congratulated us.

"How long have you all known!" I exclaimed, and they all looked at each other.

"For like two weeks." Rose said and I widened my eyes. Rose and Laurel were able to keep a secret from me for two weeks, something that has never happened before.

"And my parents?" I glanced at Aaron now.

"I asked your dad a month ago." Aaron replied and I nodded in surprise.

"Oh my god, I have a fiance now!" I squealed and left Aaron to go fangirl with Laurel and Rose.

"One of us is engaged!" Laurel exclaimed and I jumped in happiness.

"Um," Aaron cleared his throat behind me, "There's another surprise."

I turned around instantly, "I'm pregnant?" I said as a joke and everyone erupted in laughter.

For real though, what else could top this?

"I may have gotten us something." Aaron replied and walked over to Steve and grabbed something from him.

I squinted my eyes at the item in Aaron's hand as he made his way towards me and handled it to me.

My jaw dropped as I held two Paris tickets in my hand.

"No you didn't." I gasped.

"Told you it's in my bucket list to give you the Paris date you're always going on about." Aaron said but I couldn't concentrate on his words because of the amazement of what's happening.

"You're not lying?" I asked in disbelief.

"I'm not." Aaron smiled at me and I squealed.

"One of us is going to Paris!" Rose squealed along with me and I laughed as I hugged Aaron super tightly and started crying again.

Aaron was making something that I've always dreamed of doing a reality. Going on a date in Paris.

For the rest of the night I thought about how magical this day has been, the best day of my life. I thought about the magic that is Aaron, and the luck I have being loved my him. Aaron is my dream.

I looked at Aaron, laughing with the guys at something they said and I smiled.

We were each other's forever.

THE END.

A/n

IT'S OKAY I CAN NOT FUCKING SAY GOODBYE EITHER. This was ready to he posted three days ago, but i convinced myself i need to edit more of it just because I'm not ready to end this. But i guess it's time!

Guys this was my first A/N in the first chapter :

" IF I KNOW U PERSONALLY DONT READ BECAUSE YOULL CRINGE AND WONT LIKE ME ANYMORE IF U EVEN LIKE ME IN THE FIRST PLACE. "

I think it's pretty obvious how far I've come and how much my feelings have changed towards this book.

It took me from  November, 22nd - 2017 up till today May, 3rd - 2020 to have quarter of an audience of what wattpad books usually have. I always thought the number would at some point make me stop writing this but truthfully, the number never mattered. It took patience and time and I'm just insanely happy it's finished and alot of people love this book even if the number isn't huge.

All this love that i grew over time for my work is thanks to everyone who took the time to give my book a chance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to the people who stuck by since the start of the book years ago, I owe you, and i cant be grateful enough.

This book has been a part of my life for almost two years and a half. I wrote it during one of the most important phases in my life, and i always wrote when i had breakdowns because it made me super happy! This journey has been insane for me, that's why it's so hard to let go. I started out thinking this would be fun and something new. I had no plans whatsoever of going forward with it, or finishing it, or deciding i love writing and wanna continue. I have alot of book ideas planned, hope to see you there once they're up.

I'm too emotionally attactched to these characters, and i hope i left yall the same too!! Also, i hope i'm not the only one crying.

I'm open to doing Q&A's or extra chapters but that will be a very long time later, so no promises! Love y'all. I know it's difficult to enjoy a book when the author spends an eternity before updating most of the times, but i guess that's what makes me appreciate you even more!

Thank you for your time. ~Sania Xx
